Now I know what you were talking about in chat last night, since I finally read this post.

I have thus far only watched Bald Sexy on 106 & Park twice. (Including yesterdays show).

I know there was alot of heat from his second appearance, (I missed the first one!? when was dis!? ), when he threw up the "Murder Inc. Sign". (truth b told I wouldnt know that sign if it E~mailed me a polaroid! )
However, as I said in chat, perhaps one could consider that when he threw up that sign he was responding to someone we the TV viewer did not see from the audience. Perhaps someone out there threw it up to him first?

Further, I've seen programs that feature many "celebrities" that have made it large and then catch alot of guff from the general public claiming that they can no longer identify with the people who they came up with, because of the large bank accounts they now draw, etc...

Consider that any one of us would accept the paper if someone offered us 20 million dollars to do what we've always striven to do. When we've worked so very hard to reach our dreams and we're now getting paid for all that hard work and sacrafice. Anyone of us! Large cash will/can change a person, sometimes for the worse, sometimes for the better. I think he's giving back to his community with the pay days he's getting now. (Just look at the recording career of those "unknowns" who he gave a chance too in his latest movie, A Man Apart. The sound~track, discussed on 106 &, is comprised entirely of unknown's! After the success of this movie, they will neve be able to say that again!
That is in large measure thanks to Vin D.

In my humble O. he is down with his people and with those he knows are struggling to make their dreams come true, because he has been there and is still there dreaming of larger projects and going for it every day! (Anyone that has heard him "sing" on the DVD XXX out takes can attest it takes alot of gut's to talk about how seriously you would like to persue a role in Guys and Dolls! )
