3.5 Revision of DnD
I've been doing a lot of reading and the stuff for 3.5 looks really good. I mean really good.

Here check out the stuff from EN World.

And from the Wizard's site Revision Spotlight.

Re: 3.5 Revision of DnD
Haste
Transmutation
Level: Brd 3, Sor/Wiz 3
Components: V, S, M
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Targets: One creature/level, no two of which can be more than 30 ft. apart
Duration: 1 round/level
Saving Throw: Fortitude negates (harmless)
Spell Resistance: Yes (harmless)

The transmuted creatures move and act more quickly than normal. This extra speed has several effects.

When making a full attack action, a hasted creature may make one extra attack with any weapon he is holding. The attack is made using the creature's full base attack bonus, plus any modifiers appropriate to the situation. (This effect is not cumulative with similar effects, such as that provided by a weapon of speed, nor does it actually grant an extra action, so you can't use it to cast a second spell or otherwise take an extra action in the round.)

A hasted creature gains a +1 bonus on attack rolls and a +1 dodge bonus to AC and Reflex saves. Any condition that makes you lose your Dexterity bonus to Armor Class (if any) also makes you lose dodge bonuses.

All of the hasted creature's modes of movement (including land movement, burrow, climb, fly, and swim) increase by 30 feet, to a maximum of twice the subject's normal speed using that form of movement. This increase counts as an enhancement bonus, and it affects the creature's jumping distance as normal for increased speed.

Multiple haste effects don't stack. Haste dispels and counters slow.

Material Component: A shaving of licorice root.

It seems Haste really changed. It's basically a lesser version of the speed weapon, unless the properties of speed are changing too requiring a full attack action.

Now I dont mind that so much but it basically gives less of an AC bonus (+1 :( ) and a lesser expeditious retreat (+30 movement). You no longer get a jump bonus but instead get a +1 to attack and reflex saves. Overall it seems to blow and is exceptionally weaker than it used to be. I dont think the change would be bad if they revised the Metamagic feat system.

Re: 3.5 Revision of DnD
Hey everyone it's been awhile and I doubt anyone reads this board so I'm posting for my own health. ;)

Anyway, I got the 3.5 books and well I gotta admit that it's looking good. The SDR should be avalable for download sometime next week so I'll put the link up here when it becomes avalable.

I'm in the process of redesigning the NPCs and then the PCs into 3.5 characters. My goal is to redesign the characters to represent the heart of what the PCs and NPCs were. My goal is to minimize power gaming and focus on building characters.

I'm working on Krag now, Barbarian 12/Ranger 3/Adamantine Warrior 2. I've dropped Krag a couple of levels because he was the youngest adventurerer in the party. And removed the Vigilant because Krag would never devote himself to the Vigilants like the PrC requires, but rather aided as an outside contractor that gained a lot of respect.

Likewise I'm working on other characters too. So try to get your hands on the new rules and think about any revisions you might want to make.
