A Lady of Death (Open)
The sun slowly began to slip down beneath the skyline miles away from this location and rolling clouds had bgun to shift in overhead as the sporty black car rolled up outside the HQ of the Brotherhood. As the car came to rest the clouds above began to release there burdoning rain which they had held within themselves, the light liquid dropping down and beating lightly against the metal of the car. The drivers door opened and the silhouette of a young woman stepped from the vehicle, quickly pushing open an umbrella to cover her from the spitting rain. She pushed the door closed with a slam and began to walk her way up towards the main entrance.
Rain that got past the umbrellas protection hit her black suit and streaked across it leaviong a faint wet mark. But her appearance kept hidden, the umbrella casting a darkened shadow over her features, not enought though to hide her long striagh black her and her small oriental eyes that glowed from beneath the shade.
The young woman stepped up to the front entrance and raised herfist to tapp the door lightly. A loud boom irradiated from the light tap and what light there was reflected off her metallic nail vanish, a powerful silver. So, stood in the rain, covered by her umbrella, the young business-like woman stood and awaited response from the people within the Brotherhood building.....

Re: A Lady of Death (Open)
Mystique made her way towards the front door, still annoyed that her family meal was cut short. Hopefully whoever was at the door would leave as quick as they came so she could resume eating. If they didn't, they'd better have something of use to the Brotherhood, or Mystique.
Although it was mainly mutants that dropped by the Headquarters, there was still a slight possibility that a human would drop by, much to the blue shapeshifters displeasure. So if the person at the door was human, Mystique wasn't going to run the chance of them seeing her true form. The last thing she wanted was some human to run off, telling everyone he or she knows about what it just saw. Humans hovering around the Brotherhood, wasn't a wise idea if the humans wanted to live...
Ever so quickly, Mystique shifted into the form she was previously in when her youngest daughter was at the door not that long ago. With her red hair now reddish brown, she pushed it annoying fringe behind her ears and reached to the door handle with her tanned right hand.
With the door open, Mystique noticed the change in weather as well as noticing the woman standing in from of her. Her, now emerald, eyes couldn't tell who it was with the quick glance and as well with the umbrella hiding the identity. But whoever it was would be able to tell who it was looking at Mystique if the seeked her and the Brotherhood, for her physical features were the same, only her trademark colours altered for safety reasons.
She stared silently towards where she suspected would be the head of the woman, as the umbrella still covered it, awaiting for whoever it was to speak first. An obvious look of annoyance was still upon the shapeshifters face.

Re: A Lady of Death (Open)
The young oriental woman looked up and straight into the woman's eyes, her steely silver orbs locked on the human womans. But she instantly knew who she looked at, this was no normal humna, she was one of the mutants she was seeking; a shape shifter called Mystique.
As the rain lightly pattered down onto her umbrella the young woman spoke to Mystique, the annoyance of having to answer the door clear on her face; hopefully however she would soon realise who had stepped onto her front door step, someone who may be able to help strengthen the Brotherhood again;
"Ahhh, Mystique I believe," The woman spoke still covered by her black umbrella, her voice crisp and to the point, but with a slight air of mysticism. "I have come to speak to you, and whoever is currently leading your faction, I believe i have something you might be interested in." The woman's lips curved slightly as she looked at Mystique; soon she would know, soon she would allow the woman o enter and become strong again......

Re: A Lady of Death (Open)"Ahhh, Mystique I believe," The shapeshifter just nodded slowly as her only reply. So she knew who she was, must be mutant to know that, or some skilled human. Either way, Mystique just wanted the woman to get to her point.
"I have come to speak to you, and whoever is currently leading your faction, I believe i have something you might be interested in." Mystique raised an eyebrow, showing an interest in what the woman was saying. Her annoyance slowly slipping away as she questioned what it might be in her head.
Mystique: "Magneto is away on... business, at the moment. I am in charge of things until his return."
Her emerald eyes flickering away from the woman and her umbrella, looking at the black sports car and at everything else that seemed to be getting wet. As she looked back to the woman, she gave a small smirk before gesturing for her to come inside.
Mystique: "Come on in then."
Leading the way down the small hallway to the lounge room, keeping her caution up around this stranger. Mystique wasn't stupid and give her full trust immediately, plus she still had some annoyance within her as she looked towards the kitchen doors. She hoped this little disturbance for their meal wouldn't cause her youngest child any discomfort in any way.
While the shapeshifter lead the way, she allowed her body to return to it's true form. Her brownish-red hair losing it's brown tinge as it returned to it's true colour. Her tanned skin disappearing as her blue skin returned. The green eyes slowly fading back into their original yellow colour. Once back in her true form, both women were in the small lounge area. Mystique's blue hand pointing towards the couch offering the woman a seat, as she took a seat on the other side of the coffee table.
Mystique: "So, what is this interesting information that brought you to the Brotherhood?"
Her voice sounded more curious than she really was, but Mystique wasn't going to be bothered to cover it up as she waited for the woman’s reply to her question.

Re: A Lady of Death (Open)
The young woman sat down on the soft couch of the Brotherhood room, Mystique's true form showing she listened intently as the woman spoke few words, but the meaning behind them mean't more than she realised.
Lightly placing her umbrella next to the sofa, she looked back up and met Mystique's yellow eyes with her own piercing gaze;
"As aposed to information, this is more of an offer. My name is Yuriko Oyama, I have been working for a covert operations company for a long time now, however, I was not working out of choice. I 'escaped' shall we say, and i am now here, offering you my services. I wish to join your faction; I have been in direct violation of the human's lust for knowing the secrets of mutants for themselves. I want to show them what they get for crossing us!" Yuriko's eyes blazed as she spoke about her past, her need to cause pain to those who had hurt her was intense.
Yuriko looked away for a moment, scanning the large room they were sat in, it's musty smell and old style drapes and funiture was a strict contrast to the techo building she was used to;
"My codename was Deathstrike, Lady Deathstrike. It was that before I was 'captured' but i do not know if you will know of me.".....

I wish to join your faction; I have been in direct violation of the human's lust for knowing the secrets of mutants for themselves. I want to show them what they get for crossing us!" A slight smirk made its way out of Mystique lips, this woman had the right way if thinking when it came to humans. The look on the woman's face proved that she was real about this. Not like those X-Men who wanted peace between the two completely different races. If she wanted some sort of payback against the humans, Mystique wouldn’t object to having her in the Brotherhood.
”My codename was Deathstrike, Lady Deathstrike. It was that before I was 'captured' but i do not know if you will know of me." To think of it, the codename did sound the slightest bit familiar, maybe another member here may have met with Yuriko before, or the name had been heard through various convosations she had listened into.
Mystique: “I have heard the name before, although that is all I seem to know of you.”
There was a slight pause in between sentences as Mystique allowed her yellow eyes to look around the room, as Yuriko had previously done, although Mystique did it for no apparent reason since she knew this place like the back of her blue hand, before they dropped back to the most likely newest member of the Brotherhood.
Mystique: “And what would you yourself bring along to the Brotherhood?”
At the moment she didn’t seem to care where Yuriko was before, or what had happened to her, the blue shapeshifter wanted to know what strengths she could add to the Brotherhood. Sure, they needed members, though they weren’t yet in a desperate state, Mystique wasn’t going to let just anyone join without knowing what she wanted about them first.

Re: A Lady of Death (Open)
Yuriko looked at Mystique with a slight grin;
"Oh, I know i can give a lot to your organisation. For one I have many computer skills, hacking, cracking, infiltration. I am a master at fighting from the shadows, if I don't want you to see me, you won't." Yuriko paused and her grin widened, her bright eyes glowing. "Oh, and there is this."
Yuriko slowly raised from her seat on the sofa and extended her arms, flexing the muscles. She brought her hands to together and pressed the knuckles on both of them, a loud cracking noise reverberating around the room as she did it.
Again she extended her arms, splayed her fingers and then activated her adamantium claws. From each of her fingers a single foot long shimmering spike pertruded and locked into position. She slowly wiggled her fingers and the long claws clanged together.
With grim determination she retracted one set of claws and pulled her jacket sleeve up, she then grimaced as she pressed one of her claws against her skin and pulled it down the bare skin of her arm. Slowly blood seeped out from the wound as she retracted her second set of claws, and concentrating the long gash in her arm slowly formed together and left no mark as if nothing had ever been there except for some blood which had stained her skin.
Carefully rolling the sleeve down again she sat back on the soft chair. "So, what else would you like to know." She spoke with a business like tone, but there was a slight sound of expectancy too......

Re: A Lady of Death (Open)"Oh, I know i can give a lot to your organisation. For one I have many computer skills, hacking, cracking, infiltration. I am a master at fighting from the shadows, if I don't want you to see me, you won't." After listening intently Mystique gave a pleased smile. A good cracker, hey? Remembering back to the start of the week and the mutant who called himself a code cracker, it took him over twenty-four hours, and since Mystique wasn’t always the patient one she had second thoughts about keeping him. But with Yuriko around, and if she was as good as she claimed, the old code cracker might not be of any use to the Brotherhood anymore.
"Oh, and there is this." The shapeshifter’s look of interest growing a little as Deathstrike talked. She watched as Yuriko stood up, at first Mystique just thought she was trying to show off as she waved her arms around, but the loud cracking of her knuckles told her there was something more…
With Yuriko’s adamantinum claws sliding out of her fingers, her pleased smile, the Brotherhood could have their own Wolverine. Of course, her youngest daughter had the bone claws, which she had inherited from her father, but as long as her daughter stayed under the Brotherhood roof she wasn’t going to give Arisa any tough jobs to do. The sound of the claws clinkering together was much better than the sound of any wind chime… Mystique raised an eye as she watched Yuriko cause harm to herself, healing powers maybe? Correct, the rather pleased smile returning yet again to the blue mutants face as Yuriko took a seat once again.
"So, what else would you like to know." The sound of her voice made Mystique ponder if she should ask anymore questions before announcing her decision just to keep her waiting that little longer. Then again, Yuriko may not play such games and walk out, thinking better of being rather childish Mystique opened her mouth…
Mystique: "Unless you would like to add anything, I’d say you’re in."
A satisfied smirk on her face. It was slow, but it was better than nothing; the Brotherhood was slowly gaining more mutants, and for once this one wasn’t some teenager who had just discovered their powers.
Mystique: "But, if you ever turn against the Brotherhood, or me, take note that there will be trouble."
Her warning tone was more there just to show who was boss of this place. How Mystique liked the freedom she had when Magneto was no longer around, hopefully he’d stay away for a while this time. After all, if you go away like that you may as well stay for a while and enjoy yourself… nothing that it leaving Mystique in full charge of things meant anything… nooot at aaalll…
Havok "… Don’t even get my started on Mystique. Explain that to me. The woman’s a terrorist and a murderer." Mystique: "Flatterer!"

Re: A Lady of Death (Open)
Yuriko smiled at her and spoke in a soft but deadly tone;
"I won't cross you as long as you don't cross me, I am here to help the Botherhood and get revenge on the humans for what they did to me. Once there slave, now there a deadly predator. It's what they trained me for, I just don't think they realised I may some day escape them."
The dangerous words were exaggerated by the anger and intensity in her eyes, she truly wasn't going to allow the humans or human sympathisers to get away with what they did to her, they would pay.
Yuriko's tone softened and she looked at Mystique with a much more relaxed smile;

Re: A Lady of Death (Open)(ooc- *Looks at date between postings* Oh my Footy God! I’m SO sorry about not posting for aaageess! You have permission to yell and yell at me! … Wait a sec… *Gets all scared*)
"I won't cross you as long as you don't cross me, I am here to help the Botherhood and get revenge on the humans for what they did to me. Once there slave, now there a deadly predator. It's what they trained me for, I just don't think they realised I may some day escape them." The passion that Yuriko had within her voice was almost music to Mystique’s ears. She had a feeling that the Brotherhood’s newest recruit would prove her worth, especially with the way she was hell-bent on getting revenge for the group who was against her. And the best thing was, that the revenge wasn’t against a former mutant group, it was against humans. Those creatures were nothing like homo-sapiens superior, Mystique was disgusted that they had been allowed to live for so long. But it would seem that as long as there was a group wanting peace between the two races, like the X-Men, the Brotherhood’s dreams would take longer than it’s members would like.
"So, what now?" Mystique leant back on the sofa chair, it wasn’t the most comfortable of chairs, but it was there to give your feet a rest. Mystique had a much more comfier arm chair in her room, most of the best items the Brotherhood had belonged to Magneto and Mystique, as well as their daughter Phoebe, but some other nicer items were brought for Arisa and placed in her own bedroom. Sure, some of the other quality items other members had, but they either had to work well to achieve them, or stole it.
Leaning back she took a moment to ponder, what was next? She could always show Deathstrike around the place, introduce her to a few of the members. Then again some of the mutants they had in the Brotherhood were more of an embarrassment. What happened to the good old days, the Brotherhood used to be stronger. What was it now? It was almost lowering it’s ranks everyday with some of the slobbish mutants it was home to. Mystique wanted this to change though, the Brotherhood will return; it will regain its old strength, be more dangerous that it has ever been. The thought of the Brotherhood being the top-ranking mutant group almost sent a shiver down her spine, but the blue mutant was able to contain her excitement. After all, things would have to be taken one step at a time, luckily the step the Brotherhood had just taken was a rather large one, nothing like a small stepping stone that a few of it’s other members had given.
Another thing the Brotherhood could do to show that it was on the rise would be to attack one of the human groups out there. More and more of those groups were growing by the day, some didn’t mind mutants, want peace between the two and others want mutants gone, no matter what was the cost. They all had to go. A strike bringing down one of those groups could be done, it wouldn’t be too hard, many were young with not that many members. It might seem a little childish though, a little low, but Mystique had the urge to do something destructive.
Mystique: "Actually… There is one last thing, that human group, what did they call themselves?"
‘Human’, that one word was stretched out, filled with disgust. One of the most hated things of the brotherhood, which would hopefully be gone within a short time. How foolish of the mutant, she was yet to ask what group had done this to Yuriko. Was it one that she knew of, or another that was on the rise? Whoever they were, they were going to be brought down. They wouldn’t be the first group to go though, not yet, it would be best to keep their new mutant waiting for the day she could dig her claws into them. Destroying the other human groups first would give her a thirst, a hunger which would prove very useful on the battlefield…
Havok "… Don’t even get my started on Mystique. Explain that to me. The woman’s a terrorist and a murderer..." Mystique: "Flatterer!"
