A Reprieve Yeah, the title probably gave away the nature of this post to most of you. Here's the dealio, I'm taking an extended absence from the TFW. Yeah, I know it's a really bad time for me to take a break, considering that fighter participation is currently at a very low level. However, I simply can't ignore the facts. I simply don't really have the time for Toonopolis, at least, not enough time to do what I deem necessary. The time that I do have to work on Toonopolis is bought with precious hours of sleep, and I'm afraid I don't work very well in the post-midnight hours. I'm the type of writer who has to work hard on anything he puts out for other people to read and possibly enjoy. I simply don't have the time or energy to do that right now, and I think it shows. My Rps were decent this time around, but the final part of my last one was cut short due to me nearing the point of passing out onto my keyboard. Don't take this the wrong way, as I'm not suggesting in any shape form or fashion that Ganesh didn't deserve his win. I beat Nelson mercilessly until he handed over the strat, since Rodden wasn't around, and I've concluded that much of his strat was damn clever. I, on the other hand, am pretty annoyed with my own attempt, as it could have been much better than it turned out. However, I degress, it was not my intention to pick apart my fight in this post. I simply can't allow myself to sacrifice hours of sleep for something that is primarily for entertainment value alone. It was very difficult this past episode, and school only gets harder as time rolls along. Pretty soon, no doubt, my grades would have begun to suffer. Thus, with a heavy heart, I take my leave of Toonopolis and its denizens. May we meet again in better, non-school times. ~The Shocel

Tis understandable man. Just know that you're welcome back whenever you feel you can handle it.
