Tayless Stairway Moderator & Prince of the Elves Posts: 85 (8/20/02 9:49 pm) Reply	A Spirit Visitor Dad and spent the day fishing and we got home rather late that evening,so I spent the night. There was no-one was around except my parents and my self, my folks went of to bed and after watching a little tv , I headed for one of the spare rooms. I was awakened from a sound sleep do to the loud disturbance from down stairs. Thinking dad had gotten up again, I got out of bed to see what he was doing. I met him in the hall on top of the stairs, he to had been awakened and thought it was myself making all that noise. After inquiring about mother, and being told she was still in bed. I went back to my room for my side-arm. I took the lead down the steps ready for whom might have been down there thinking there was an intruder, dad was close behind. (From the bottom of the steps you can look directly into the kitchen and the living room.) There we were standing at the bottom of the steps washing with amazement at what was going. Dad took one look at me then at my side-arm, I can still hear his very words "I don't think that is going to do us any good". As we stood there watching the tv was flickering on and off, the curtains were flying about a strong wind was blowing around the room, It was very cold almost like standing out side in the cold winter snow. Lights were flickering getting real bright then almost to the point of going out all-together. The clothes washer was running and was almost bouncing across the floor. I walked over to turn of the washer just to find the switch was in the off position reaching out to unplug it, to my amazement it was not even plugged in. (You see mom and dad live in a very old log house, and there's a shortage of out-lets so they have an extension cord for the washer) I walked over to the tv, I had to hit the power button 3-4 times before it would quit. By now dad had enough of this adventure and screamed as loud as he could "Thats ******* enough" then all seemed to go quiet in a blink. This event never happened again at least not this strong , there has been much smaller activity like pictures falling over, old time music playing from out of no-where and many cold chills.

Ive had problems like that in my old house. Lights were forever blinking and busting all the time. I should of had stock in lightbulbs those years But that is interesting thanks for sharing that.
