Shadow followed Psylocke into the Danger Room and watched as things started to change. He blinked then looked deeper at the changes. He noticed the minuet changes in the holographic images and saw the room extending poles, raising platforms and lowering them to make the artificial battlefield seem real.
“Interesting. I don’t think I have ever seem a holographic projection unit as sophisticated as this one in all my travels,” he said as the changes finished.
He looked around again, dismissing the illusionary forms to see what was really there. He was mentally noting all the advantage points and their weaknesses in the single glance. He watched Psylocke move to a position in the Danger Room then moved so that there was a 30ft gap between them and bowed. Rising up from the bow he stood straight his left hand behind him, resting on the hilt of a dagger and his right positioned in front of him so that the edge of his palm was facing into his chest and his fore and index finger pointing upwards, a classic ninja stance. His mind was now blank, free from any thoughts about his combat style. He was ready to fight.
“Begin when you are ready,” he said not changing his stance.
Beware the shadows for the Shadowed Ninja lurks, waiting to strike.
