After breakfast with Pan-pan OK-AH!
As they made their way down the halls, Kichi looked around with curious and excited eyes. Of course, her gaze flickered over to Jay quite often, her checking up on how he might be feeling and her hoping that him acting as a tour guide wasn’t boring him too much. As a couple people they passed stared at her due to her Pan-pan that she was just holding over her shoulder, Kichi gave a small laugh. It was funny to see their reaction. A glimpse of a clock stopped her slight chuckling though as she was reminded about the job she had bailed out of. It wasn’t her reputation she was worried about though, it was the fact that she was working with a rather shady individual… Not that she hadn’t worked with his type before, she had taken plenty of jobs from people just like him. Kichi just hadn’t ever just canceled her end of the deal.

With her alias, they shouldn’t be able to find out where she lived or anything easily.. but.. But if they were to pry deep enough and look back far enough, they had the chance of coming across the freak child that had been seen in Japan, the one that was born with gray pigmentation. From there, they could do more research to find who the parents were and then if they were to do that, they’d be able to fins out almost anything they wanted about her and her mother and her father… Kichi shook her head a little and plastered the grin back on her face as if nothing was wrong. <No, they won’t be able to find all that. Don’t be so paranoid. You know how to cover your tracks good enough so those ex-employers should be just banging into dead ends if they try to find out more about you than they already know.> She thought to herself.

“So breakfast was okay good?” She asked Jay, tilting her head to the side and looking at him expectantly. <That’s right. Just don’t think about it.> She thought as she fiddled with her Pan-pan that she had brought out in front of herself. She played with the kitchenware, making her hand stick to it so she could balance it on her fingertip. “So where are we going now, Jay-san~? You are not tired of just wandering around are you? If so then I can go to the room and…. OH! You must come dancey dance with me on the DDR! OK-AH!” She exclaimed, her bubbly excitement just shooting through the roof. “We can start with lower level then hop skip and jump to higher level as you get better!” She chatted away all hyper-like.

Re: After breakfast with Pan-pan OK-AH!
Troubled thoughts were Jay’s specialty, and he could pick them up like a radar, for a moment he found himself watching the all too quiet Kichi as they walked, Jay a step or so behind her out of habit though he hovered at her side occasionally as well. Usually he’d drift back if he relaxed his wings a little more, not letting them risk hitting into her when feeling like stretching them a little. At this point he walked beside her again, which meant he couldn’t give more then casual side glances. It was still amusing to think of her fondness for the pan she owned. I guess some people have pet rocks… a pet fry pan shouldn’t sound weird. It still brought a ghost of a smile which mostly hid behind thinly straight lips as he thought.

“So breakfast was okay good?” It was nice and he gave a nod and appreciative smile to tell her so, and on top of that he didn’t cook it, so for Jay that made it taste that much more nicer, not that he didn’t like cooking because he was pretty handy in a kitchen, he had to be in order to feed the rest of his younger siblings. “So where are we going now, Jay-san~? You are not tired of just wandering around are you? If so then I can go to the room and…. OH! You must come dancey dance with me on the DDR! OK-AH!” The burst caught Jay off guard, startled eyes staring at her with a stunned expression as he hesitated taking another step. He had no idea what a DDR was, but he wondered if he should be worrying about it nevertheless, he hated making a fool of himself and he wasn’t really a dancer. “We can start with lower level then hop skip and jump to higher level as you get better!” People weren’t like this… they weren’t positively enthusiastic, it’s like she had enough enthusiasm for the two of them, for the entire school even. Admittedly Jay never thought he’d find himself actually in the company of someone like this, let alone the fact there was something strangely addictive about it. He wouldn’t know how much until he left her presence, but her positive force helped pull him from his rut whether he wanted to or not, unless he rudely walked off, which is something he may have done even just two months ago.

"I was thinking of showing you the Rec Room, only now I’m not sure," The Kentucky mutant began, "People might get scared if they see me break into dance." He half teased, "I’m not bored, I don’t do a lot around here anyway, so it’s not like I have anything more pressing I’d want to do. Besides, it’s nice to have company." At first he worried that it sounded like he was saying he was here because there was nowhere else he could be, and he didn’t want her to think that, he did find himself intrigued by the young woman, he wouldn’t mind getting to know her a little more… Especially since he already told her something that he hadn’t really sat down and told a stranger before. "What’s DDR?" Curiosity prevailed and the country lad found himself voicing the question he had earlier pondered.

Yah!
At the expression he gave her from her energetic burst, Kichi couldn’t help to laugh a little. She wasn’t making fun of him, just his expression struck out as being funny to her. "I was thinking of showing you the Rec Room, only now I’m not sure… People might get scared if they see me break into dance." For a moment, she flipped the pan-pan to cover her face until her giggles subsided then she lowered it again. This time, the attack of laughter had been from his joking. She doubted if anyone danced bad enough to scare anyone away.

“Oh it is no problem~ No one should be scared by the DDR.” She told him, placing a hand on his shoulder as she spoke, having switched the pan-pan over to her other hand. Out of seemingly nowhere, she brought her hand to the handle of the pan-pan before throwing the cooking utensil up in the air and catching it again, holding it straight above her head. “DDR shall rule the world and all who live in it with it’s enticingly peppy music and flashing lights! YAH!” She exclaimed with almost cartoon-like animation. She then grinned and lowered the pan to carry it over her shoulder again as she let herself calm down to normal.. not that her normal level was all too calm comparing to other people.

"I’m not bored, I don’t do a lot around here anyway, so it’s not like I have anything more pressing I’d want to do. Besides, it’s nice to have company." Jay told her. Kichi flashed a bright smile at him. It was a mood-lifter to hear someone say that in her direction.. the part about it being nice to have company. Someone had told her that before a few years back but… Her mind wandered back to the memory of one of her ex boyfriends.

He had used to think that her company was nice up until he had found out more about her than the arcade life. The guy had been almost ok about it until he had found out that she was missing a few parts. <Jeeze, you’re just like a Barbie doll or something. That’s way too freakish for me.> His words repeated in her mind but she kept the smile she had plastered on her face as if the thought hadn’t invaded the here and now.

“Yes, it is nice to have company~!” She sang out, giving a little hop to emphasize her enjoyment. "What’s DDR?" At the question, she turned to face him with a wide-eyed, jaw-slacked look as if what he had asked was the shock of her lifetime. “What is DDR? You don’t know DDR?” She asked rapidly with the mix of surprise and excitement. “Eeee~! I have to show you! DDR is beautiful! DDR is addicting~! DDR is more than OK-AH!” She exclaimed spinning around before continuing. “With DDR you step on the arrows on the pad or platform to match the arrows on the screen. Also you match the beat of the music. You can pick what songs you want to dance to and it should not be toooooooooo hard~ It is so fun!” She told him.

Re: After breakfast with Pan-pan OK-AH!
“What is DDR? You don’t know DDR?” Jay had been smiling about her previous agreement to his statement about enjoyable company, who didn’t like good company? Even people who were anti social had some sort of company they enjoyed, even if it was just a silent friend who sits next to them while they work on different projects. By the stunned expression which followed her question filled with disbelief left Jay a little confused, wondering if DDR was something everyone knew and made him a ditz for not knowing it. It wouldn’t be the first time, Jay wasn’t exactly a computer whiz either and when he had free time in computer class people chatted over instant messengers which was really the only time Jay got anywhere near talkative, but half the time they’d have strange symbols placed together to make some sort of face he usually couldn’t make out or even worse was when they used shortened words. A few were easy, like ‘how r u’, but there were things like ‘lol’ ‘rofl’ ‘IMO’, they all pretty much went over Jay’s head. Why couldn’t people just say what they wanted to say and not make up silly little codes.

“Eeee~! I have to show you! DDR is beautiful! DDR is addicting~! DDR is more than OK-AH!” Another energized burst spilled forth and, quite honestly, it was really overwhelming, the winged mutant not sure if he should just stand there and smile or back away to a safe distance when her limbs started spinning about with her body. “With DDR you step on the arrows on the pad or platform to match the arrows on the screen. Also you match the beat of the music. You can pick what songs you want to dance to and it should not be toooooooooo hard~ It is so fun!” It looked as if something she said had caught his attention, and it had, the mere mention of music caused a sparkle in his eyes. The former singer loved nothing more then writing down new songs which he could sing to his hearts content. Kichi had already said it was just a beat, so no words to sing along to… which was probably good since he had a low resistance when it came to songs and couldn’t help but start singing along if he knew the words, even if he didn’t, he tried hard to keep on track with them anyway!

Jay could only assume that she was talking about some sort of game… his family never really had the money for that sort of thing, living at Xavier’s was definitely putting him in the higher class as far as lifestyle went. Though Jay still feels he would have made it far as a singer, he still blames Sam for leaving him to take care of all their siblings. There was a slight shrug from him, very mild, telling her that her reply only half helped him figure things out.

"I like music, so it can’t be dull if it has music." Jay decided with a smile, picturing it like some sort of TV juke box or something. "Um.. did you want to use your DDR then? The tour won’t be much fun if you ain’t plannin’ on actually trying any of the things out, like horse riding down at the stables, or playing pool or table tennis or whatever else in the rec room. Or swimming in the pool…It’s what other students usually enjoy doing, you’d probably meet some others as well, especially in the rec room." Jay hadn’t gone swimming once since he arrived, he may love playing in the water like most others, but he just couldn’t any more, especially on his own. Maybe if there were others around the memories wouldn’t hurt so much, he could push them aside for a moment and try to enjoy himself. But he hadn’t really made any friends, so he couldn’t really do anything, sometimes he’d go out and shoot some hoops just for the heck of passing time, but that was rare and far between, other students usually wanted the courts. Flying was basically the only activity the red headed mutant could do, he felt like an idiot going on a horse, he couldn’t play any table top games on his own even if he wanted to and people rarely bothered talking to him since he had made it undoubtedly clear earlier on that he didn’t want anything to do with people.

Re: After breakfast with Pan-pan OK-AH!
At first, while she was speaking, Jay’s reaction was showing her that she might have been a bit too open but then, as she mentioned the making ups of the DDR, a look came into his eyes that brought a smile to her face. The DDRing had caught his attention. So there was a chance of him playing with her after-all! She felt like cheering. [/i]"I like music, so it can’t be dull if it has music." His reply brought her more encouragement on the thought of him joining along with her when she pulled out the pads and game.

"Um.. did you want to use your DDR then? Or swimming in the pool…It’s what other students usually enjoy doing, you’d probably meet some others as well, especially in the rec room." As he told her of the other things they could be doing, her eyes seemed to just get wider and wider until she jumped up with a squeal. Upon landing again, she giggled embarrassed and rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly about her outburst. “ Horses, pools, tennis, rec rooms.. This place is great!~ Can we see the horses? They are much to kawaii!~ We can play DDR anytime… like after the tour maybe?"

She then calmed considerably as she thought about the pool. “I am thinking I will have to build myself up to the swimming. I am very shy when it comes to swimming in public… Even if it is just one public with me.” She said, casting a glance to the side to avoid eye-contact for a moment. She knew he had reacted ok as far as the whole pigment thing and the wall climbing thing but she wasn’t sure if he would be as tolerant about her anatomy as he had been with those other oddities. She wasn’t ready to gather up the courage to find out at the moment either.

“ So… with the tour, we can just look at everything else? With tennis, I never learned how to play. With horses, I don’t know how to ride…” Kichi said with a little gri

Re: After breakfast with Pan-pan OK-AH!
At least someone got excited about all the activities the school offered, and it was sort of nice to see her reactions because Icarus could feel his own enthusiasm picking up a little despite still having little to no intentions of getting involved in them. As far as he cared he would keep avoiding the things around the school like he had avoided the people, taking part in things just now seemed stupid. Everyone would notice his change in attitude, he’d look like an idiot and he wasn’t going to stand there and have them throw their snide comments. At least that’s what he expected, it wasn’t like Jay to be paranoid like that, usually he really didn’t care but maybe it was just an excuse he used as to why he shouldn’t try and participate any further then he already had.

“ Horses, pools, tennis, rec rooms.. This place is great!~ Can we see the horses? They are much to kawaii!~ We can play DDR anytime… like after the tour maybe?" The term ‘play’ really kept putting Jay off, games weren’t his thing, mainly because he never got the time to really enjoy them, they were a strange concept of fun that Jay seemed to feel was constantly out of his reach. Everything that made him happy seemed to be wrenched right from his grasp so soon after he takes hold, it made life seem like a repetitive and somewhat useless struggle. However dreary Icarus’s outlook on life had become, he still found himself discovering that loneliness was hardly getting him by as it had once done, gathering more pain by spending his days alone and trapped within his own walls of isolation he had built then in previous months. Was the desire to reach out again and become his social self a sign that he was moving on? Was he letting go of Julia’s memory? Was he losing her again…?

It would be a lie to say Jay’s thoughts had never strayed to another woman since Julia’s death, the quiet longing to spend some time with someone gnawing away at the hold he had on his misery. But even if his body wanted to move on, his heart found it too complicated, too hard, things always had their prices and somehow returning to his old ways before he met Julia, where his popularity permitted him to spend time with any attractive female fan he found himself interested in, at least in most cases. Yet somehow becoming that young reckless teen again seemed not only impossible but a betrayal to the sacrifice Julia had made, surrendering her life on the belief he had died, the sorrow unbearable for her to live with and not only was such a hefty sacrifice pointless in the end, Icarus was unsure how to continue his life without feeling the weight of guilt in every action he did; especially considering another woman.

" I am thinking I will have to build myself up to the swimming. I am very shy when it comes to swimming in public… Even if it is just one public with me.” Nights were still haunted with the memory of his Julia’s face, the loving feel of her motionless lips as their arms entangled as their bodies sank to the depths of what was meant to be their watery graves. The idea of putting off swimming therefore settled well on Icarus, who also was uncomfortable letting people see the scar on his chest. As was common with curious teens they tended to ask any question which popped into their minds and Jay wasn’t someone who could so easily reply to their questions with honesty, usually instead it was either a shrug off or hostile response. Besides, avoiding the water was a must if she wanted to keep Jay in a more pleasant mood, at least considering his usual attitude this was rather pleasant.

As for Kichi’s worries towards Jay’s thoughts on her physical differences, it was extremely hypocritical for the flyer to make any judgmental comments or thoughts on someone else’s physical differences considering he had giant bird appendages sprouting from his back. However Jay assumed it was the self conscious thing most girls and for sure even guys, would feel about exposing their physical forms for the world to examine.

“ So… with the tour, we can just look at everything else? With tennis, I never learned how to play. With horses, I don’t know how to ride…” Jay wasn’t exactly a tennis player either, in their air he may be an efficient bullet but on the ground his wings did hinder movement and occasionally threw him off balance when he wasn’t careful with how he took sharp twists and turns while running around.

"Well, I’m not much of an indulger in any school activities." The flyer admitted with a slight air of melancholy as an unwilling show that there were other reasons then just not wanting to participate which kept him uninvolved with such things. "I guess we could head outside first, you’ll undoubtedly see most of the things inside the school sooner then what’s outside. We even have our own graveyard and remembrance garden.." The garden was a place Icarus was often, finding a quiet place to sit in solace as he wrote his songs, a garden created solely for the purpose of mourning so few other students really inhabited the private area. Usually no one really knew where Icarus disappeared off to for hours of the day, but he was never far from the school, always hovering around since it wasn’t like he could mingle in public with his large wingspan. "There are tutors working in the stables, so I’m sure you could sign up for classes if you wanted to." Offered the red head as thought over which way to take her, probably they’d swing by the basket ball and tennis courts, make their way by the pool and pass through the common gardens towards the lake. If she was lucky the stable manager would be there, rumor had it the guy Jean left in charge at this point was hardly away from his post.

"You’ll have an activity list with all your school papers, tick whatever you want on that and the administration would be sure to book things for you, saves having to run around signing up all over the place. They have out door activities as well, survival courses, wilderness training, students are able to go outside the school for camps to participate in special course training for those studies. Some students are put off of them though because of Mr Logan.. he’s ok once you get to know him I hear, but he can be off putting at first." It was hard to explain to Kichi what exactly was wrong with the x-men known as the legendary Wolverine, and Icarus only knew him vaguely, the winged mutant didn’t really get to know his fellow students or those who taught him. "What sort of things are you interested in?" Icarus asked with what appeared to be a spark of genuine curiosity as they walked down the hall, making his way towards the front hall so that they could head out into the outer grounds.

whee
She could tell something was on his mind, something that troubled him. The way she could tell was because of his eyes. He had the same expression in his eyes that Kichi had caught on herself before in the mirror. It made her want to know what was going on but at the same time, she wasn’t sure she should ask. But due to the habits she had developed in her line of work, she found that she was curious beyond words and figuring ways to find out. Privacy was something she knew but not the side of it that people were usually taught. No, it was the side where one plunged into another person’s privacy to get the information they needed instead of where one should stay out of it.

Kichi didn’t want to get Jay upset though. He was one of the only people not to freak out about her oddities as far as the color thing and the wall climbing thing. Besides him it was only her parents and that coal-eyed man.. And even with them there were parts that made them uncomfortable noticeably. He had even acted like a potential friend after seeing her display her abilities. If she were to pry, would that stop? Would he want to be away from her? She showed none of her thoughts, just remaining her cheery self on the outside.

"Well, I’m not much of an indulger in any school activities." She picked up on his melancholy, it tinting the tone of his voice as he spoke. "I guess we could head outside first, you’ll undoubtedly see most of the things inside the school sooner then what’s outside. We even have our own graveyard and remembrance garden.." At the word garden, her eyes seemed to brighten some as a split-second warning of another outburst of energetic actions. Sure enough right after, Kichi gave a little squeal and jumped up and down a couple of times. “A garden? I love gardens~ There are so many colors and flowers.” She calmed a little then rose a brow. “A… graveyard?” She squeaked out, turning gray for a moment before returning to the multitude of pigments she had been using earlier to look like her winged friend with. “There is a graveyard near here? What about the spirits? Does anyone see any ghosts there?” She asked, still a little tied up in the superstitious ways of her mother from having lived with the woman for so long.

"There are tutors working in the stables, so I’m sure you could sign up for classes if you wanted to." She was glad for the distraction away from the graveyard topic and her smile popped back onto her face. You’ll have an activity list with all your school papers, tick whatever you want on that and the administration would be sure to book things for you, saves having to run around signing up all over the place. They have out door activities as well, survival courses, wilderness training, students are able to go outside the school for camps to participate in special course training for those studies. Some students are put off of them though because of Mr. Logan.. he’s ok once you get to know him I hear, but he can be off putting at first…" She tilted her head to the side, her hair falling over her face some before she brushed it behind her ear with a hand.

“Survival courses and wilderness training sound interesting. I do not mind if that Mr. Logan person is a little weird, I’ve been around all kinds of people when in my job and as long as what to do is clear, I am good to go.” She stated with a grin. Kichi blinked a couple of times realizing she had mentioned her job and just hoped that he wouldn’t ask about the little slip she had made. She didn’t know how he would react to her line of work.

"What sort of things are you interested in?" The cuteness Jay asked her. “ I’m interested in---“ She paused, having almost said she was interested in being real. “ experiencing new things~ and interested in much activity.. and all kinds of things. What are you interested in?” she asked. While she was speaking she was having a whole different conversation in her head. The conversation being on if she really was interested in being ‘real’ or not. Her being as she was was good for her line of work and she couldn’t very well use her color-changing camouflaging as well if she were worried about indecent exposure, could she.

“Have you ever used those?” She asked, gesturing to his wings. “And if you have what is it like to fly? The closest I’ve been to flying was in a plane or when I was jumping from one building to another.” She finished.

Re: After breakfast with Pan-pan OK-AH!
EEEEEP! I did this before I left Greece, I've been thinking it was your turn and waiting for you to post, I guess it got deleted or something, I remembering posting this o.O

Seeing dead people… now that had to be a power that sucked big time. Jay however wasn’t familiar with anyone who could, but was sure there was probably one or two that could, any thing was possible after all. "I’m interested in---" Hesitation. Why? Probably she was just thinking over the answer, or it wasn’t really an appropriate thing to tell someone she only just met. “ experiencing new things~ and interested in much activity.. and all kinds of things. What are you interested in?” There was a list of interest, wasn’t there? But always at the top was his passion for music. Woman had been another pleasurable pass time, not that he over did it but he had his fair share of one night stands, he enjoyed that freedom, but it was hardly an interest he could share with a girl, or anyone other then a close friend really.

“Have you ever used those?” Icarus blinked away his thoughts, already about to speak in order to reply to Kichi’s first question only to be asked another regarding his wings. Ah, another passion of his, to fly unaided in the skies, to spiral and dive, to glide across the open waters and fly above countless acres of wilderness. “And if you have what is it like to fly? The closest I’ve been to flying was in a plane or when I was jumping from one building to another.” Although the comment of jumping what he assumed to be rooftops caught the flyer off guard, wondering why she would be doing that and then realizing she probably did it for the same reason he flew over forests… simply because she could. Everyone found freedom in some way, perhaps that was theirs, or perhaps she did it for another reason, who knew, maybe one day Icarus would find himself knowing a lot more about others then just off hand comments, but for now he had to accept what he was offered.

"I used to be lead singer in a band, I love music, I write my own songs all the time, whenever you see me writing something you can bet it’s another raft draft of some lyric I made up." His eyes seemed to sparkle as they spoke of the two greatest passions he currently had in his life, his wings remained folded but lifted a little higher, taking on a better posture for show instead of slouching as they had been. "And I use these as often as I can, they’re the only freedom I have sometimes.. when music alone isn’t enough." There was a something strangely dazzling about his expression as he glanced at the window, looking back at his companion, her own eyes the same striking hue as his, contrasted by the flaming red colour of hair. There was a genuine eagerness in his forced calm as he asked his next question.

"Would you like to fly with me?" It wouldn’t be the first offer he made, or the last, what good was having such a wonderful ability if he was the only one who could experience. "I’m one of the fastest flyers in the school, and I’ve taken others before, I could fly you down to the stables." Why walk when one could fly? Then again not everyone was comfortable with flying, especially when they were being carried, more times then not people usually graciously refused the offer and in truth Jay was always a little disappointed. He could show her the way the lake catches the sunlight, the way the grounds look as other students scurry from one place to another or sit back and relax. Flying was always a fantastic feeling, but flying with company, now there was something Jay had to admit was well worth the extra effort. "You could climb on my back, you’ll be perfectly comfortable," Jay continued, his tone making it a little obvious that the offer wasn’t just for her own benefits, but that he was really hopeful at the chance of flying.

"I used to be lead singer in a band, I love music, I write my own songs all the time, whenever you see me writing something you can bet it’s another raft draft of some lyric I made up." Kichi's face seemed to lighten up and her eyes shone with excitement before she gave a small gasp. "Oh! I'll have to hear you singing sometime! It must be so nice to have a singing talent! I always wished I could have a skill like that. Lead singer.. wow~." She gushed, just short of acting like a fan-girl. She wasn't buttering him up or trying to make his head swell, it was just the way she was.

"And I use these as often as I can, they’re the only freedom I have sometimes.. when music alone isn’t enough." Jay told her. Kichi gave a small sigh of longing, spinning around slowly as she spoke. "I bet it's so nice~." She sang before she stopped spinning and faced him as she heard him speak again.

The next words that came out of his mouth made her lose her pigmentation for a second out of surprise. "Would you like to fly with me?" Right after those words were uttered, the coloring returned in a bright explosion over her body. or the last, what good was having such a wonderful ability if he was the only one who could experience. "I’m one of the fastest flyers in the school, and I’ve taken others before, I could fly you down to the stables." Already the hyper-active response was visibly building. "You could climb on my back, you’ll be perfectly comfortable,"

"Eeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!! OK-AH!~ I would LOVE to!" She squealed, jumpping up and down. "Oh you're so sweet! You're so nice! Eeeeeee!!!!! We're going flying!!!" She was about as excited as a person who had just hit the lottery for 100 million dollars. "The clouds! The wind! The everything! Eeee!~~~~" Kichi grasped his hand in both of hers and looked into his eyes, her own showing clearly her excitement and happiness. "You really mean it, right? No joke?..... Lets go! Lets fly! Let's get out of here!" She exclaimed.

Re: Re: After breakfast with Pan-pan OK-AH!
"Eeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!! OK-AH!~ I would LOVE to!" There was little doubt that she was about to explode with excitement, leaving Jay time to brace himself as she built up her exhilaration. "Oh you're so sweet! You're so nice! Eeeeeee!!!!! We're going flying!!!" Sometimes when Jay asked if someone wanted a fly, though the occasions were few and tended to be very far between, people more often then not passed on the offer or accepted with mild delight. To have someone so thrilled in this manner was a bit of a surprise but also a pleasure in many ways as Jay found himself to enjoy the prospect of others being excited over his own abilities and their chance to experience them. "The clouds! The wind! The everything! Eeee!~~~~" A slight curve began to form in the corner of his lip, still containing his emotions as he usually did, having a habit to bottle them and not express himself to a fault, but at least not so terribly that he neglected all expressive outlets, a smile now and then wasn’t so uncommon for him. Seeing Kichi so delighted over his offer Jay felt a little twinge of pride in regards to his abilities of flight and how someone actually felt as affectionate for the power as he did himself. "You really mean it, right? No joke?..... Lets go! Lets fly! Let's get out of here!" Still with a slight smile he made sure to nod his head positively to show he was serious, his expression still toned down despite the fact he looked forward to giving his wings a good stretch.

"We’ll just take the window then, no point in walking all the way back to the front hall." He offered with a gesture of his hand, the winged mutant also taking a step towards the nearby window while speaking, a moment after which he swiftly opened it and let his wings slack to his sides. "Hop on my back," Some people would have probably preferred if he held them, but it was a bit too intimate for Jay to even consider an offer, besides, it was easier for people to see things from his back and it would probably be more comfortable for them while he was flying. "And hold tight."

Re: Re: After breakfast with Pan-pan OK-AH!
A smile came then a nod and Kichi found herself literally bouncing where she stood, her excitement too much to contain in merely standing still. A hum came from her as she kept herself from squealing yet again, her joy more than just obvious in her expression and in the way her eyes widened. The change in him that she could see made her even more joyful, Jay going from how he had been when he had first met her to him actually looking pleased.

"We’ll just take the window then, no point in walking all the way back to the front hall." The window, she had just been thinking the same thing! She watched him as he took a step towards the window and as he moved his wings so his back would be exposed to her. "Hop on my back." He told her. She had also been wondering at that moment how they were going to go about the flying experiance too. "And hold tight." He finished.

At that, Kichi looked at her hands, turning them so her palms were up. Letting the sticky-pads lift up from her fingertips and into view, she thought for a moment before looking at Jay. She didn't know how comfortable he would be about her using them to assist in keeping her from falling off while they were flying and also taking into concideration about the fact that if she only held onto one place for too long that there was a possability she'd get stuck, she decided against using them, pulling the pads back in and having her fingertips become smooth again, the stickiness of them being removed.

"This is so exciting!~" She sang as she carefully reached her arms up and gave a little hop to place her hands on his shoulders. Kichi had strong hands so she was able to hold herself up on them but at the same time, she made sure not to squeeze too hard, not wanting to bring him discomfort. With how small she was, it wasn't too difficult to manage being on his back without too much arkwardness. She didn't take up much space.

"You have no idea how long I wished I could fly..." She commented.

Re: After breakfast with Pan-pan OK-AH!
"This is so exciting!~" Even Icarus found himself smiling as she leapt onto his back, her own excitement was so vibrant and Jay would lie if he said he didn’t like seeing others happy, especially if it was because of something he had done or was doing. A gentle shift of his wings would have been felt once she was on his back, the impressive muscles moving beneath the skin as he adjusted to her wait and balanced himself accordingly.

"You have no idea how long I wished I could fly..." The angelic looking mutant reached for the edges of the window, though his mind focused on the words, though a lot of people did wish they could fly, especially children, Jay discovered some who could refused to so not to be seen by ‘normal’ people and get shunned. Jay didn’t care what others thought, let them shun him, it wasn’t like he could become any more of a loner then he had the previous year.

"Just be careful," The winged mutant reminded the girl as he shifted his weight some more and pulled the two of them onto the windows ledge, "there will be a bit of a drop at first, hold tight." It was unavoidable really, he couldn’t just leap and have smooth sailing, especially with her additional weight and the fact it was an awkward take off, at least they were higher up so that he had it a little more easier for that reason. The next movement was fluid, swift yet careful at the same time as he didn’t want to hurt the girl as he pushed himself off the ledge with a slight leap into the air.

A fall, always so thrilling, his wings poised ready, then spreading gracefully to catch the rush of air, helping guide his body into position as their angle changed, his front lifting steadily so not to catch the girl by surprise. The fiery red hair whipped about, his arms shifting to help offer additional balance either by his side or spread out like his wings.

"Just be careful, there will be a bit of a drop at first, hold tight." At his warning, her eyes widened practically into circles in excitement, a big smile almost taking up half of her face. She didn't mind a little free-fall. Not in the least! It would just add more fun to everything!

When they were past the window and plummetting towards the ground, a squeal of delight came from her. "Wheeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!" She squealed out again. Kichi felt like she was going to burst from excitement. "Whaaaaaaaaa! So exciting!" She cried out as the fall turned to flight. She got a little starry eyed as the wings spread, the flame red feathers ruffling in the wind. She could understand why he was called Icarus. With his hair and wings catching the light like that, it looked like he was on fire.

It made her notice that she, in the excitement of the earlier fall, lost hold of her coloring.. But that was alright right now. He had enough color for the both of them!

"This is so amazing~~~" She sang, delighted. They were soaring through the air and the wind was whipping past them. This may have been her first time but she could alredy tell that she could easily become addicted to flying. She would have been a fool to pass up this chance. Kichi couldn't imagine having missed out on this.

"How do you bring yourself to keep from doing this all of the time? This is so addicting~ I don't think I would ever want to walk if I were able to fly." She commented in her sing song tone.

A small dreamy sigh came from her. "I would give up ten years of my life for a pair of wings." She said, speaking over the rush of the wind the whole time.

Re: Re: After breakfast with Pan-pan OK-AH!
"Wheeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!" A grin formed on Icarus’s face, one of the few times he was almost always smiling was when he was in the air, and to share the experience with someone else was even better. "Whaaaaaaaaa! So exciting!" A light chuckle followed her cries of delight, fuelling the winged mutant furthermore with energy and thrill.

"This is so amazing~~~" It was, wasn’t it? The rush of the wind, the thrill of the speed, the freefalling and high gliding, it was all so wonderful, it was a moment in time where pain no longer could be felt, each movement so defined and so well thought that it offered no time for fretting thoughts, aside the occasional idle daydreams though of course!

"How do you bring yourself to keep from doing this all of the time? This is so addicting~ I don't think I would ever want to walk if I were able to fly." The comment brought a wry smile of the attractive lips of the flyer, though he knew it would be impossible to spend his life up in the clouds, just like any daydreamer he had to come back down to earth, to be part of the world around him, to draw in on the company of the others he lived with… No that Jay was exactly the most social of students, if anything, this week had definitely been a huge leap ahead for him.

"I would give up ten years of my life for a pair of wings." A tad of sadness touched Icarus, his own thoughts whispering a morbid sigh, ten years of ones life… and what Icarus knew it was because of his wings, because of his mutant gene in general, that his first love sank deep into the waters depths… driven then by passion and despair she felt for Jay when he appeared to have been killed.

"There’s the pool!" Jay called out clearly over the whistling wind in their ears, avoid to comment on the previous remark she made, after all, everything had its price, and once you had something there was always something else you’d be willing to sacrifice it for. "And the lake!" Magnificent wings stretched out as far as they could, tensing as his body turned, his hair brushed back by the force of the wind. "And over there are the stables!" A hand gestured over towards the stables direction, which was located by the lake in the grounds further behind the school. "It’s a quick trip by air!" He added, always feeling a little disappointed when he flew from one place to another since it seemed one moment he took off and the moment he landed.

Re: Re: After breakfast with Pan-pan OK-AH!
She didn't have to be a mind-reader to tell that he was feeling a little down. He had been alright up until her last comment. In her thoughts, she connected it all and realized that it must have done with the mentioning of life. She felt bad about making that comment now but at the same time, it wasn't such a bad thing because she could say the next thing that was coming out of her mouth. "I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking... But there's something I should tell you now that it's come." She said once they were on the ground and after she had gotten off of his back.

"I know that losing someone you love is painful. I can't begin to imagine how painful it really is... But at least you were able to love and to be loved in return." She stated, the hyper peppiness vanishing for that moment. "I've felt pain before too. I've felt the pain of falling in love and being unable to be loved in return. No one will ever love me." She stated. "I know you lost her but you still love eachother. Do you think you are betraying her if you be happy? You can still hold onto her memory even if you're not holding onto the hurt." She told him, switching the topic away from herself and going back to the happy-go-lucky smile she had had before.

"I envy you."
She said, her smile weakening a little as she brought the change of topics again. "Even though you've fallen and broken into a thousand pieces, you still have the ability to be pieced back together and to be pulled into love again. That's why I don't understand why you let yourself be like this. I'm not saying go out there and look for another love.. No nonono... I'm saying I don't understand why you make yourself keep suffering." She said.

Her smile shook a little but she kept it on. Love was a sensitive topic to this particular color-shifter. "You have a gift, Jay. Even if you don't see it as one right now. You have the gift of experiancing something I've learned a long time ago and after a few mistakes that I will never have. That I learned that no one will ever give me." Kichi said now in quieter tones.

Having had plenty of practice getting out of her clothes for a quick run up the walls and such, it took about the time to blink before her already baggy clothes fell around her feet. For a moment, she held onto the pigments that made it look as if she were wearing spandex underneath but then, looking to the side, she let her abilities go, her falling completely to grey.

Slowly, Kichi turned her head so she was looking at Jay again, her pale grey eyes looking a little glassy but a smile still forced onto her face. "No one will ever love someone who's incomplete. I've had to find that out a few times. Even been told that a few times... But I'm not going to let the fact that I will never know the gift you have keep me down. It just makes me appreciate it more when I see others who are able to find that kind of happiness." She told him.

"If you are angry because I talk so openly to you I understand. If you've lost any shred of friendly feelings toward me, it's ok. I don't let myself hold onto hurt for long and it won't torment me. I just hope you understand what I had to tell you. That you understand that you shouldn't cling onto your pain because there are those who would be happy to have even had the chance of it being them." She said, tilting her head to the side.

Re: Re: After breakfast with Pan-pan OK-AH!
"I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking... But there's something I should tell you now that it's come." It didn’t look as if Kichi was in her playful mood, it seemed serious and the comment actually took Jay by surprise, he hadn’t though of her as someone who could be serious… But obviously she could, if the situation depended on it, just like back in her room when they had talked of his lost love. Gracefully and carefully Jay touched the ground, first the toes of his feet and then gradually to his heels, his knees bending slightly to allow her easier access to the ground.

"I know that losing someone you love is painful. I can't begin to imagine how painful it really is... But at least you were able to love and to be loved in return." Being in love had been the greatest moment of his short and incomplete life!!! He had be flying on his emotions alone, soaring the sky, seeming untouchable by any harm, he was free… and then he was sent freefalling to the ground for reasons that can not be justified by logic or necessity. Was this another lecture? Was he being told to get off his misery wagon and move on with life like so many others have pressured him into doing the last year? "I've felt pain before too. I've felt the pain of falling in love and being unable to be loved in return. No one will ever love me." Well, that was a pretty negative judgement, sure she was a little hyper and it took some getting used to but she was an attractive young woman with all the curves needed to get men’s attention. Then again a lot of people were hard on themselves and Jay was always very awkward with boosting people’s self confidence. "I know you lost her but you still love eachother. Do you think you are betraying her if you be happy? You can still hold onto her memory even if you're not holding onto the hurt." Maybe that is how he felt… Julia loved him, she died to be with him, if only she hadn’t lost her faith, if only she had held on that much longer, then they would still be together, if she hadn’t given up, all she had to do was believe he wouldn’t leave her.. but… Jay found it so hard to move on, he was so angry and so alone that… he didn’t even know where exactly he’d be moving on to.

"I envy you." Surprise was definitely evident as Jay blinked at the other girl, "Even though you've fallen and broken into a thousand pieces, you still have the ability to be pieced back together and to be pulled into love again. That's why I don't understand why you let yourself be like this. I'm not saying go out there and look for another love.. No nonono... I'm saying I don't understand why you make yourself keep suffering." Another love? Could anyone possible compete with Julia? Though competing wasn’t really the word for it… Jay knew there was always a chance to date again but it would never be the same, would it, Julia was his first love, how could he ever recover from such a loss? Even physical contact with other girls had been put off during Jay’s depression and there were times he really had been in need of the familiar comforts he had grown used to while touring with his band.

"You have a gift, Jay. Even if you don't see it as one right now. You have the gift of experiancing something I've learned a long time ago and after a few mistakes that I will never have. That I learned that no one will ever give me." What? Love and affection? Well yeah, that was a gift but why was Kichi so negative towards her self in that department? Jay felt confused, as if he was missing something important or meant to say something to detour her from that frame of mind where she was anything less then pretty or desirable.

Jay didn’t even get a chance to think things over, he didn’t get a chance to brace himself at all for what was to happen next as Kichi’s clothes seemed to slip from her slender form to the ground about her feet. For a moment tension was eased as it appeared there were undergarments on, but before a sigh managed to pass Jay’s lips it seemed they too faded, leaving an anxious expression on Jay’s features. Being a guy, and a deprived one at that, Jay couldn’t help but get a little caught up in the moment, until he noticed one unusual thing which absorbed his attention… There were no… on her… no… Icarus flushed slightly feeling more then just a little awkward and he looked away only briefly before looking back to her face… so seemed to be missing an item or two on her physique, but why exactly was she showing him, this could all be done by explaining it vocally… It would have been easier, at least for him, and for any one who may just stumble across them, this was the stables, not some remote part of the school, people came here often! …Well, most would probably be in classes or elsewhere by now but still…

"No one will ever love someone who's incomplete. I've had to find that out a few times. Even been told that a few times... But I'm not going to let the fact that I will never know the gift you have keep me down. It just makes me appreciate it more when I see others who are able to find that kind of happiness." Ok, wait, were they talking about love or was it sex they were on about? Jay’s bright gaze awkwardly scaled down her form before lifting again quickly, grey may not be something he was used to, but that didn’t mean he was eluded to her well toned form, she definitely did her decent amount of exercise… Though it looked as if she was just wearing a really tight suit… skin tight, one she wiggled into and one which clung to her feminine form snugly and perfectly. The thought didn’t really help, Kichi may not understand that sometimes it was the outline as well as the ‘items’ which enticed the male mind and Jay tore his gaze away to stare at the lakes surface. It was definitely an interesting week for him, but this moment probably took the icing of the cake… including for the last few months!

"If you are angry because I talk so openly to you I understand. If you've lost any shred of friendly feelings toward me, it's ok. I don't let myself hold onto hurt for long and it won't torment me. I just hope you understand what I had to tell you. That you understand that you shouldn't cling onto your pain because there are those who would be happy to have even had the chance of it being them." It was amazing really… Jay was somewhat boggled by it, was Kichi saying she was unable to enjoy sexual intimacy? He could definitely see how that’d be problematic for many guys, a lot of the times they cared more about the sex in the relationship then the affection and devotion.

"..uhm… ok.." Ok? OK? Jay could have slapped himself there and then, if he didn’t feel weighed down by stunned surprise. "I mean you’re right," He cleared his throat, anxiously glancing off again before his eyes moved back to her, seeming to struggle to remain focused on her face and that alone. "And I’m not mad.." Jay’s wings fidgeted awkwardly on his back until they seemed to finally manage to find a comfortable enough position to settle in. "It’s what friends do, striping things down.." a hasty pause before he immediately added, "..to the facts, the bare facts." Although he tried to sound firm and grateful, he felt too taken back by the whole scene to even remotely know how he was supposed to respond to this. "But not too bare, we can never go to bare… you should.. it’s cold and all..at least you might get cold." Ok, now Icarus felt a tinge of warmth spread through his cheeks, "I’ll make more sense when you are clothed, trust me." There was an awkward chuckle, not that Jay was unused to seeing woman, but it was the first live naked woman he had seen since his encounter with Julia, which was a long enough time ago to make Jay feel a little unused to it all. Especially since his attitude around the school tended to keep him out of those sort of situations.

Re: Re: After breakfast with Pan-pan OK-AH!
"..uhm… ok..I mean you’re right" He seems uncomfortable as he cleared his throat and looked away from her. She didn't blame him for looking away, her body was pretty freakish... "And I’m not mad... It’s what friends do, striping things down.." He seemed distracted."..to the facts, the bare facts..But not too bare, we can never go to bare… you should.. it’s cold and all..at least you might get cold." Kichi was starting to realize that he was bothered in another sense. That it wasn't because the sight of her disgusted him. "I’ll make more sense when you are clothed, trust me." Jay finished with a small chuckle.

Almost as quickly as she had dropped the clothes, she pulled them back on, looking a little sheepish. "I didn't know how to tell you in words." She explained, giving an embaressed half-smile and scratching her cheek lightly with a fingertip. Had she been able to blush naturally, she would have been. "I.. don't want you to get the wrong idea... I wasn't talking about bedroom-love. I was talking about the other kind. I don't know the bedroom kind, I've never felt lust and never will." She stated in case he had gotten the wrong thought in his head of what she meant. "They just showed me that they didn't really love me afterall when they saw that I was missing so much. It's happened enough times where I've learned that I'll never know the kind of love I always wished I could.... I mean, I'd know it as far as feeling it towards someone but never feeling it being given to me." She finished.

"I'm surprised you weren't repelled by what I showed you... but.. I didn't mean to get you all uncomfrotable either." She said, rubbing the back fo her neck now. An energetic smile came to her and she brought a finger up as if an idea had struck her. "Ah~ I know! You can just erase it from your mind ok~~? Should be no problem~ Just rub it right out of your thoughts so the image will be gone." She stated, reverting to her peppy self. It was almost as if she hadn't changed out of it... almost. Except for the fact her eyes still were slightly glassy with hidden emotions.

"OK-Ah!~ Back to the topic~! Happy! Be haaappppppyyyyyyyyy~?" She requested. "Fly, don't fall?" She added.

Re: Re: After breakfast with Pan-pan OK-AH!
For someone who says she wasn’t so experienced with relationships, she definitely knew how to undress and then dress again with a swift ease, surprising definitely but still Jay felt himself torn between watching and looking away… He didn’t want her to think he was upset nor did he want her to think he was staring… while the first one was.. he was definitely not upset the second one… well… maybe he was staring a little.. how could he not? He was curious now, curious and intrigued!!

"I didn't know how to tell you in words." Opening her mouth, muttering a few things, stringing them together to form some understandable sentence referring to her lack of certain parts of her autonomy.. "I.. don't want you to get the wrong idea... I wasn't talking about bedroom-love. I was talking about the other kind. I don't know the bedroom kind, I've never felt lust and never will." Wha? If she wasn’t talking about physical love why then was she showing him her physical… uniqueness?

"They just showed me that they didn't really love me afterall when they saw that I was missing so much. It's happened enough times where I've learned that I'll never know the kind of love I always wished I could.... I mean, I'd know it as far as feeling it towards someone but never feeling it being given to me." Now Icarus understood, what was left of his tension starting to ease now and mind focusing on Kichi’s plight, feeling a touch of sympathy wash over him as he listened.

"I'm surprised you weren't repelled by what I showed you... but.. I didn't mean to get you all uncomfrotable either." Well what had she expected, stripping down like that in front of him without any warning, Icarus was still flesh and blood!! He still had wants and needs and he ignored them at the best of times.. he didn’t need it shoved so bluntly in his face, sure he wasn’t angry, but he definitely would have preferred some warning in which to brace himself… not that it’d have helped a whole lot.. But there was only so much self control a guy could have when faced with such things. "Ah~ I know! You can just erase it from your mind ok~~? Should be no problem~ Just rub it right out of your thoughts so the image will be gone." …Gee… the chick obviously doesn’t realize the male’s lack of control over their mind and their body when confronted with such things, though it was more amusing then anything else. Icarus offered a soft smile to show his amusement over the fading cloud of awkwardness.

"OK-Ah!~ Back to the topic~! Happy! Be haaappppppyyyyyyyyy~?" There was another slight laugh, very soft which faded quickly. "Fly, don't fall?" A soft smile still remained, if anything it became even more sincere however.

"Well after all this it’ll be pretty hard for any guy not to be flying high," Icarus joked, though his flirtcious personality had been suppressed for so long the comment was somewhat expected for him and he just hastily smile and motioned towards the stables. "Did you want to go for a ride?"

Re: Re: After breakfast with Pan-pan OK-AH!
"Well after all this it’ll be pretty hard for any guy not to be flying high," At his joke, Kichi grinned. She was glad that he hadn't been disgusted by the sight of her. His accepting it meant a lot to her. He'd be the only one besides her mother that didn't frown at how she was or say something negative about it. Her skin, hair, and eyes swirled back into color to match him as she smiled, the glassiness fading from her eyes and the cheery nature no longer being a forced one but a natural one.

"Did you want to go for a ride?" She looked in the direction of the stables he had gestured to and her eyes widened a little. "I would love~ going for a ride but I couldn't ride a horse to save my life. I like looking at them though and petting... and brushing~. Petting more though because brushing leaves too much dust and hair all over." She stated, sticking her tongue out a little at the thought of the mess and also at the same time to be silly. She was feeling more comfortable now that she had gotten the earlier topic out of the way and into the open.

"You don't mind do you?~ If we just look and pet and not ride?" She asked, bouncing as she said the word ride and holding her hands out as if holding reins. "Anyway~~~ Even if I did know how, it's be nothing compared to flying. Oooooooooo flying is so fuuuuun~~~" She sang out, now holding her arms out as if she were flying. Her arms dropped back down to her sides even though the dreamy look in her eyes remained and the bright smile still kept it's place. It was obvious that she would be comparing everything to flying now, the sign of a true flight addict.

Due to her hyperactivity, she didn't wait long for an answer before turning to face the stables and grinning at him. "Ahhh~~~~ I hear them already~~! I'll race you there!" She exclaimed before quickly running towards the small building. Once actually in the stables her eyes widened again and she slowed to a stop, panting a little then holding her breath at the sight of the horses. She wasted no time, in the next moment she was huggig onto the muzzle of a horse that had hung it's head out into view. "Waaaaa~~~ Soooo cuuuuttteee~~~~" She sang, rubbing her cheek against it's forehead.
