All I Ask of You
(Another 10 years later sorta thing. I've had this idea stuck in my mind, and I can't turn it down... )
Alex stood on the beach watching the sunset as the water ran over his feet. He had asked Silver to meet him here, and knew it wouldn't be long until he arrived.
Alex gave a nervous sigh and looked down at the box clenched in his hand. The ring had come out just how he wanted it. It was a simple band, so it wouldn't be too girly-looking or anything, and it had the song quote 'Love me, that's all I ask of you...' engraved on it.
Alex had put a lot of thought into this moment, and fet it was time... But what if he says no? he wondered to himself, biting his pierced lip and pushing his brown and bleached hair out of his blue-gray eyes.

Silver walked down a small path to the beach. His dark black hair in his eye's. He had let it grow out, he now had to pericings on his lip one on the left and one on the right. He had on those Emo-ish pants and a black shirt on that fit just right. On his arm he had black rubber bacelets. He saw Alex and his face widened with a smile.

(I had a smile when I was writing it. It's just so sickingly warm and fuzzy. )
Alex smiled and hugged Silver tight. "Hey love," he said before he gave Silver a kiss on the cheek.
He looked out at the water for a moment as if thinking about what he would say, then looked back at Silver with that charming grin of his.
"You know, babe, I've been thinkin'... I remember when we met 10 years ago. I had just gone to the ball at school to have fun, and I never expected that I would meet the love of my life there," he couldn't help but smile. "And when a lot of teenaged romances didn't last, we've stayed strong all these years... Sooooooo..." Alex pulled the box out of his pocket and got down on one knee, not caring if his pants got wet. He flicked the box open and showed the ring to Silver. "I was wondering if you would marry me?"

Silver couldnt beleive it! He just stood there and looked at the ring.
He finally said "yeah...I mean I do" he said with a big smile and hugged Alex.

Alex could feel his heart melt with joy as he hugged Silver. He slipped the ring onto his love's finger, and it was a perfect fit. "Mmm, I love you," he said with a smile as he rested his head on Silver's shoulder.

Alex smiled, dragging his foot a bit in the wet sand. "I'm glad you like it. I wanted to get a ring that you wouldn't be embarrassed to wear." He could still feel excitement tingling through his veins. He had always known that he wanted to spend his life with Silver.
He held his hand out to Silver as if to say 'Wanna take a walk?'

"That's a good thing, right?" Alex asked. He certainly didn't want the question to make Silver feel uncomfortable.

Alex smiled. "Sure, if you want. I can just picture Ruby giving us a card that says 'It's about damn time' or something like that," he said with a laugh.
Alex saw a shiny shell in the sand and he picked it up to look at it closely, but dropped it with a yelp when he soon noticed that it was a hermit crab.

Alex laughed and picked the little crab up again. "Look at this little guy, aint he cute?" he said with a smile as he held it out infront of Silver's face.
"But, yeah, I think a party would be a nice idea. Let our friends celebrate, you know?" he smiled, so exited about the idea that he and Silver would be hubbies soon.
