And time goes by so slowly
Cassie sat in her room silently listening as she curled up in a ball on her bed.
Nalani had led her back here and told her to stay put and so she was but at 15 Cassie was still young and certainly afraid. There had been rumours and crashings but she didn't dare leave the safety of her room, even to check what was going on and master her great curiousity. Here was safety.
With more crashing and general panic in some areas Cassie flipped on her radio, listening to the first bouncy pop song that came on. The music seemed to be mocking her though and didn't cheer her spirits.
Cassie sighed and flipped off the radio. There she sat, trying to tone everyone out, and she hoped that soon everything would be over.
Meanwhile in the corridor outside the dorms, Aurora was on the way to her room. Wearing high heels, even her graceful way of walking made
some noise while she thought about the last hours.
Training hours to be exact which had been some of the strangest in her life so far.

Cassie heard footsteps but they were precise and didn't sound evil. She carefully opened the door and asked the stranger timidly, "Excuse me, but what happened and is it over?"

Aurora stopped surprised. *Second one in a row, feels like Jeopardy*
The girl smiled gently at the younger one.
"I am not certain whether I am authorized to tell you what happened but for now, danger is over"

"I'm not to be treated like some little brat who has no idea about real life and danger. I'm Shade, daughter of Shadowcat and I know all about mutant attacks. Tell me what's going on now because if you don't I'll hear it from someone else, I promise you that," she finished, as surprised by her own outburst as Aurora surely was.

The raising of one eyebrow was every emotion Garnet allowed herself to show.
"How fascinating; I am Aurora Garnet Ferell, also called Circe, daughter of Maxwell and Julia Ferell and I know everything about computers and fashion since my parents earn their money with it.
However, strangely enough my parents did never lie their whole financial plan out in front of me.
If you have questions you really want to have answered, I suggest you try it in a more polite way"
She turned to leave but stopped again.
"Besides, I am aware of the fact that nearly everyone in this Institute has experiences regarding attacks and invasion, however, it is up to the teachers to spread information. I hope you can survive with the news about the end of danger - at least for once - only"
With that, Circe turned around and left without hurry.

"Fine, be that way," Cassie added childishly as the older girl left.
She was at a loss of what to do now and decided finally that she'd find Nalani. The older girl had helped her to her room and had said she was going for more information. Cassie's great curiousity compelled her to find out everything about what was going on so Shade headed out to look for Nalni or anyone who would tell her what was going on.
