Anna Update
Good news, Anna saw her doctor on 9/10 and was told her eyes were clear. This is after starting methotrexate in May. She saw Dr. Foster in January who recommended the MTX but it took us until May to get a Dr. to prescribe it. Her optho was against it but the rheumatologist agreed to start.
Her optho immediately said for her to stop the MTX but I e-mailed Dr. Foster who stated they she needed to remain on it. I took this to her rheumatology appt on 9/23 and he agreed. So no more steroids for now and hopefully we have beat this! Thanks to all for the support and info.

the TWO YEAR clock started the day she was off all steroids without inflammation. please don't rush this as it will set you up to fail. you might start looking for another opthalmologist if he won't listen to you or to CSF. you don't need that kind of stress in your life.
Anna update
We ran into the same situation w/our local opthamologist with Demi and ended up seeing Dr. Foster only. Glenn FYI Demi has been off all steroids and medications for over 4 years. My advice is find another opth. for the long term.
