Under-Water Breathing:
The name says it all really...when submerged under water his is still able to continue breathing, his lungs are able to shift into gills that filter the water instead of the air.
Water Control:
Can manipulate the movement of water with his mind, he cannot however create it out of nowhere, he can also change its density.
Body Shifting:
Making him able to live in both land and sea environments, his ability to alter parts of his body mean he can have legs, mertail, or legs with a tail. His ability to evolve his body to suit any environment makes his chances of surviving hostile areas much higher.

Personality:
As the only son to the ruler of the under water city, it has made his life rather stressful and filled with 'royal duties' or boring gatherings. His free spirited attitude doesn't help since he always feels confined to his father’s expectations of what he must act like.
However when Arlen manages to escape the daily bustle of family obligations, he enjoys exploring the surrounding reefs and caves. Sometimes even daring to travel to the upper levels, which are forbidden due to the human threat, simply, so he is able to gaze up upon the starry heavens.
He's very determined to fight for what he believes in and isn't afraid to follow his heart, it's almost impossible for him to lose his temper and he prides himself on his ability to always keep a cool head.
Although he is a prince of sorts, he hasn't let that effected his manners, being extremely curious and polite, he is offended is someone talks rudely towards someone he cares about and will stand up for them.
Likes:
He hasn't seen trees like they have on land, or flowers, and he's left almost speechless whenever he enters a garden, the scents of the flowers like nothing he has even smelled before. He enjoys seeing all the new things and loves learning more about the people that live on the land.
He has become strongly attached to Arisa, Wolverines Daughter, although he finds her looks different to that of any other creature he has seen, he finds it strangely alluring. Her soul and heart have also captured him, her gentle touch and heavenly smile are like that of any Angel he could ever dream up.
Dislikes:
The fact his parents forbid him from being in love with Arisa, they act as if she is beneath him, and to hear them talk like this is breaking his heart.
Seeing someone crying, suffering or in pain, his gentle nature can't stand the sight of torment, no matter how mild it is, he feels the need to help, and if he isn't able to help, it hurts him even more.
He can be rather jumpy around loud noises that he hasn't heard before, he doesn't like pollution and finds it hard to breath in the city.
