As the day goes by.......
High above the city of New York, Ray stood, clinging to a wall as the city lights radiated in the darkness of the night. He was covered in nothing but street clothes, which would seem odd since he doesn't want anyone to notice him. Not like anyone would care who he was, they would care about the fact that he's defying gravity, attached to a wall.
Checking his seven dollar glow in the dark watch, Ray looks at the time and starts to think. It's getting late, I should head home now...
Looking below, he watches on as the people of the city drove and walked in packs. Something that could rarely be seen in any other city. Clentching his fists, he "stands up", remaining attached to the building only by his feet. Seeping through his skin was a black ooze-like substance, his symbiote. In a matter of seconds, he's completely covered. He squats, then lunges forward, jumping off of the wall.
Extending his left hand out, Syndicate launches a black web stan, which attaches itself to a wall. He swings down low, inches above the ground, then he throws himself hundreds of feet into the air. If he still had use of his "telekinesis", it probably be a more fluid form of travel than swinging around. Too bad it isn't an option.
Sending out another line, Ray swings, then lets go of the line. As he falls, he puts his arms out and grabs onto the wall and slides a few feet before he comes to a stop, and then makes his way to the roof of the building. Once there, the young man breaks out into a run as the symbiote peels off of his face. With a large grin on his face, Ray begins to jump from roof to roof.
Heh. I'll go home later. This seems to never get old... Ray mutters to himself in his mind. As he jumps into the air, he releases a yellow beam of energy, which quickly dissipates in the air. This was only the begining to his night out...
The movement of the web-slinging creature that was leaping from one roof to another as well as the presence of the symbiote had caught the attention of the young fighter who had been hiding from the loud noises of the busy city streets and the strange people who seemed to chase her. The metallic red marks that covered her eyes reflected the twinkling stars who's light where slowly being strangled from view by the thin layer of dark clouds spreading across the sky.
"Another one." The slim figure of a troubled heroin watched the Black Spider-like imposter move towards her, the dark red symbiote costume, its streaks of red metallic making it more unique then their fathers suit. The black symbiote was perhaps one of the most famous known to the world, Venom, but now another black one, much like the Black Spider, swang towards her without a care in the world.
May didn't trust symbiotes, she didn't trust anything really, but Symbiotes where bad, that much she knew, her head tilted slightly to the side as the boy leapt from one roof top to another. He was like a child enjoying a new gift, and Sin watched the gleeful child as if it was her prey, waiting for it to come into striking range. And as soon as he was, she leapt out and pounced upon him, tackling him to the ground, pinning him down. Her eyes where more focused what was around them then actually on Ray himself.
"He's not allowed to see us, if he sees us he'll take us, take us like he took the others, or if we're lucky he kill us, then we won't have to hide any more." She didn't know what those strange people wanted, but she was sure it wasn't good, she had to stay away from them. Sin growled and her attention was fully given to the boy, again her head tilting slightly to the side as she examined the creature.
"You're not the Black Spider." She stated rather matter of factly though her voice was still in a low growl as she struggled to hold him down with her accusing glare.
Re: As the day goes by.......
The young man had shifted from jumping to doing nearly-impossible flips on his journey of rooftops, still without an once of care in the world. Why should he? He's on the rooftops. He's safe. Nothing would be able to reach him unless they knew how to fly. How funny it would be if he knew he was wrong.
As if it was a natural instinct, he strafes to the side and leaps a great distance, carrying himself from one building and over the vast distance, crossing the street three hundred feet above it, barely making it to cling to the side of another building. With a sigh, Ray quickly scales the building to the roof and continues on, making sure he would never do that again.
He was way too focused on something as asinine as jumping to see a red figure in the horizon. But how did he miss it? Anyone else who was doing idiotic jumps would have saw it, but not him. The young man was just jumping and laughing, possibly day-dreamining as he just had to defy gravity. Too bad his last jump would prove to be his last.
Before he even got to touch down, he was struck by someting red, that much he knew. Everything else was just a mishmash of colors and spinning. He wasn't able to focus on what hit him, nor was he even able to move at the moment. He was pinned down. Cursing, he tried to toss whatever was on him off, but the collision made him dizzy, so his attempt was futile. He didn't worry, he started to get a clear picture of everything, and was greatly surprised when a red figure sat, pinning him and keeping him from moving.
"What?" he asks, words barely able to escape his mouth free of a barely-clear mumble. Ray was lost. He had no clue what was going on. "Who are you? Can I get up now?"
Re: As the day goes by.......
The next generation spider-powered heroine tilted her head slowly from side to side as her two minds thought over his request. The symbiote growled as she put more pressure in her grip, but then her hands released her hold upon him, though she remained sitting on his stomach as she sized up the threat he posed. The electricity the flowed lightly in her systems flickered about her fingers in a golden spark of light before she pulled her hands completely away.
Pushing herself from where she remained crouched a top him, she then kicked herself into the air and landed two meters away from him. He didn't sound hostile, in fact, he sounded confused, but she often confused people so she paid very little attention to his tone of voice.
The symbiote wasn't the most sane of creatures, and right now May didn't care about starting up a civilised conversation with this guy, but really, May didn't care about doing much lately. She remained in her crouched position, her hands pressed down on the roof, ready to pounce again if he became hostile. She remained unresponsive to his questions as she watched him with distrust and uncertainty, unsure of his intentions or if he risked leading those men who where after her to where she was hiding.
Re: As the day goes by.......
It took awhile, but slowly it settled in that this woman sitting on top of him was not going to be friendly. He wasn't sure what was going on, and probably wouldn't. He wasn't even sure of how he felt. Scared, nervous, or both probably. Ray didn't want to react too hastily, not knowing if he would make this problem into something bigger than it should. But, just to be on the safe side, he would make sure he was ready if this strange woman decided to attack.
Small, barely visible particles of energy orbited both of his hands. His symbiote tingled with slight pain as it slowly moved away from his hands. The woman's hands spark up before she let go, increasing the young mans uneasiness. It wasn't long afterwards until she lifted her body off of his chest and into a backflip some ways away from him. Climbing slowly to his feet, the barely visible energy around his hands flickered before going out as he started to slowly creep backwards.
Still unsure of what she was going to do, Ray got into a standing martial arts stance, a variation of the one he normally used. If he were to actually get into position, he could possibly convice the mysterious person he was hostile, which he wasn't. By force of will, his outer-layer slowly peeled off of his body and through his skin, which for some reason, felt like he was being slightly pinched all over his body. His normal clothes rested under his symbiote layer on his body as he slightly lifted his hands into the air, while not letting his guard down even a bit. "Hey," the boy calls out to his attacker, "I'm not here to cause any trouble. I just want to know why you attacked me. Who are you, and who is this Black Spider?"
He really didn't expect to get an answer out of this woman, seeing how his first attempt was futile. Hopefully, this time she will open up.
Re: As the day goes by.......
With a nervous hiss the creature backed slightly more away from the boy, the tip of the symbiote's fingers clawed now as she watches him. Maybe he was one of them, one of those soldiers, the ones who keen chasing after her, her and the rest of her resistance group.
"Trouble, trouble touble.." She mumbled as she looked off in the other direction Ray was, but then glared back at him, there was always trouble, he may not want to be any trouble, but he was here, he was troubling her, she was hiding, and he found her...big trouble..
"Spider! We're a Spider, aren't we? We where a Spider...no, no more spider-games...waky-waky Parker, he's talking to us. Silly Parker, doesn't like to talk, leaves everything to me, she'll come around, once you leave.." Sin moved a few feet to the left of where she was, still facing Ray and watching him carefully, but she stopped and continued glaring at him.
"Attacked you? Attacked? Haven't attacked...you're not hurt are you, we're just protecting ourselves from your kind, we don't like this world, always chasing us, always hidding." She stood, her arm streching out as if she was reading to shoot a line of webbing towards him, taking 2 steps forward before stopping once again.
"Doesn't matter who the Black Spider was, he's gone now, murderers, who are you, another imposture wearing his colours."
Re: As the day goes by.......
By this time, Ray was becoming uneasy. From what he could see, this woman could try to possibly do something to him. Did I ask too many questions? he thought to himself as he decided to back away, just in case. Involuntarily, his black symbiote started to break through his skin and ooze around his body, becoming a tight, rubber-like suit seconds after emerging, which startled the young man. He's had this thing for some time now, and this is the second time it's comsumed his body without him willing it to do so.
Danger...? he thought. Or maybe not. Maybe he was still paranoid. But as each second passes, he began to think otherwise. Then, this strange girl mumbled something, which wasn't understandable from where Ray was, or maybe he just heard wrong. He didn't care at that point. Taking a look to his right side, the young man noticed that he wasn't too far off from the edge of the building. Then he began to realize something. Maybe it, his symbiote, was trying to protect him by forming. Giving him an easy way out if things got too out of control. All he had to do was jump, and he could just swing away.
This girl, whoever she was, seemed too similiar to him in his costume. It scared him. Then, as the symbiotic woman began to speak again, he heard what she said clearly, but it seemed odd.... Is this girl insane? His feet glide across the rooftop as he inches backwards. Once again, she muttered something else, something about being chased and hiding. Or maybe she's just too scared to talk...
This strange woman spoke once again, and accused him of being an imposter, imposter of the Black Spider. He didn't know if he was. He didn't know if he looked like him. It would be easy to confuse Ray and this man, since they both wear black. "No, I'm not an imposter. Well, I don't I am. Why are you running? Who are you running from? Maybe I could help."
Re: As the day goes by.......
Crouching down, her fingers resting on the ground, her eyes then looking down, her hands shifting about as if she was looking for something she had dropped. Her eyes then peered towards the edge of the roof, her symbiote mask pulling away from her face to reveal her young features. Red hair drapped down around her shoulders, deep greenish hazel eyes glanced about, studying the area about her feet.
"We saw them taking that girl, we tried to help, but we still hurt, we weren't able to stop them taking her. A man, he was here....then he was there, then he was... then he was gone before he came back." As she spoke, she remembered the man disappearing from one spot to another, a teleporter of sorts. He was really strong, May was having trouble getting anywhere close to him, so she ran instead of sticking around to be caught as well.
"His hands, he throws fire, fire's bad... have to tell the X-Men." She looked at her hands for a moment, then pointed to herself, her red lips parted for a moment as if she was about to speak but then she closed her mouth and stayed quiet. She wasn't going to tell him her name, her real name, but she didn't need his help, she knew where she was going. She just had to figure out how to get there without getting attacked again, her finger tips of her right hand pressed lightly against her lips as she thought.
Re: As the day goes by.......
Seemingly out of instict, his or maybe the symbiotes, Ray slowly crouches down aswell. He had no idea why, and hoped unintentially mimicing the young girl who just now revealed her face wouldn't get offended by his move. As she spoke, he slowly inched towards her. He didn't move fast in fear of an attack. That was probably the biggest thing on his mind right now. Not to make her upset.
His blonde hair swings in front of his face and he brushes it away, then quickly glances to the left of them. He heard something that startled him, but when he looked, it was only a bird. Without a sigh, his gaze shifts back to the young woman. There was something about her that reminded him of someone or something, but he couldn't put his finger on it, so he threw the thought away before he started to speak. "A man....was he moving fast? Why is fired bad?"
As Ray slowly moves towards the girl, he stops. He felt it was as far as he needed to go, and there was only about a five foot gap between them. He didn't want to be too close, yet not too far away. If she'll let him get closer, than he will. As his fingers dig into the roof, something she said sparked a thought in his mind. X-Men....aren't they at Xavier's....? His face shifts to fit his thought process. Seconds pass after what seemed like an instant, Ray speeks up again. "X-Men? They're at Xavier's, right?"
Re: As the day goes by.......
Shifting about slightly as he moved towards her, May stared down at the ground most of the time, she wanted to run away, she didn't like staying in one spot so long.. But part of her wanted to stay because she wanted to stay with someone who didn't appear as if he was to harm her.. if that demonic man appearing and disappearing and chasing her all day..
"X-Men? They're at Xavier's, right?" She looked up, her mind wondering off from her previous thoughts as she stared at the boy. He knew the X-Men? Her father woked with the X-Men, she's fought with them before as well.. when the Sentinal's started attacking the school in her dimension last month.
"School... in the school.." She crept an inch closer, pointing to the ground as if pointing to something, but then looked away glancing around before staring back down at her finger.
"And a Blackbird.. a pretty Blackbird.." She said quietly refurring the sleek black jet they use secretly to get from one place to another. Though unless one knew of the black jet then they'd have no idea what she was talking about, her eyes glancing around once again.
"He's not going to get us if we get to the school, won't get us, safe in the school, just have to hurry, before he finds us again." It was cold, so she wrapped her arms around herself to warm herself up, glancing around woridly once again, she knew they where still looking for her.. he was still searching.. he knew she was around here, he was following her for so long..
"They're at Xavier's... you know Xaviers? Xavier's a nice man.. he's a teacher.. the Professor owns the school, it's why they call it Xavier's.." She mumbled, the last part was spoken more to herself then the boy, talking with useless in formation that was bound to be overly obvious to any who thought about the name of the school and the headmaster being similar.
Re: As the day goes by.......
It was only moments later the loud humming of a helicopter caught the attention of the superhumans, the two symbiote hosts soon seeing the sleek black chopper rising up from between the buildings. A bright flash light scouted the area, stopping upon the crouching figures that where conversing on the roof tops.
"Remain where you are!" The loud commanding male voice called out over the sound of the prepellars spinning around above him. But the blinding light kept him hidden away from their sights, however the young female on the chopper rolled her eyes at the formality and held out her hand impatiently. Cole had been chasing this girl all day, what luck would they have that she'd just surrender now? She waited for Cole's signal... she won't attack until that man gave her the order.. she'd hate to get on his wrong side..
She couldn't help but wonder why he was going around collecting all these mutants, he already had access to under world demons and soldiers from the Initiative.. But she didn't dare ask why he was so focused on building up a force to destroy the X-Men, she could tell it was a very personal reason.. and the guy seemed highly unstable.. The young Black Queen crossed her long slender legs and simply awaied for the arrival of her current employer, she wondered how he'd feel when he sees his little pet SpiderGirl has gone and found herself a friend..
Gwen: (to a noisy Angel) Geez. Where were you when they taught stealth in superpower school?
(falling into Angel's arms) I did that on purpose.
Angel: That's pretty pathetic.
Gwen: (coyly) If it's a lie or if it's the truth?
For some odd reason, Ray started to happily smirk. It was barely recgonizable, but it was still a smirk. As he watched the young girl speak, it seemed as if she was finally opening up to him. With luck, he could possibly help her out, and help himself out in the process. It seemed as if they were heading to the same place--for two different reasons, but the destination was the same. He barely notices the young woman inch closer, but when he did, he felt she was begining to trust him. It was good, made the chances of them helping each other even greater.
"And a Blackbird.. a pretty Blackbird.."
When she uttered those words, Ray became lost. He had no clue what she was talking about. Black bird? They have a crow? Or maybe it's a raven. A hawk maybe? After a few more seconds contimplating on her words, he decides to find out about it later when he reaches the mansion. Might as well, but it probably wouldn't be anything too important.
"He's not going to get us if we get to the school, won't get us, safe in the school, just have to hurry, before he finds us again."
Ray nods as he starts to look around. Right after she said that, he started to get a bad feeling. He didn't know why, but things just started to feel weird.
"They're at Xavier's... you know Xaviers? Xavier's a nice man.. he's a teacher.. the Professor owns the school, it's why they call it Xavier's.."
"Yeah, I know about it. I'm supposed to be heading there, since every other place I go to, people don't seem to like me because I shoot beams. Well, that was before I got this thing." Ray points at his symbiote as it starts to dance around his neck. Then, all of a sudden, he hears propellars, then a helicopter comes into view.
"Remain where you are!"
Ray winces as the bright light shines in his eyes, and as a result, his face is covered by the symbiote. It was right then where he realized that the ones in the helicopter might be the ones after the girl. Syndicate's muscles tense as he glances back to the girl. If she decided to up and leave, he would follow. He had no clue to what these people were planning, so he would stick with her if he needed to.
"Yeah, I know about it. I'm supposed to be heading there, since every other place I go to, people don't seem to like me because I shoot beams. Well, that was before I got this thing." Her head tilted to the side, before her head turned a tingly sensation in the base of her nick warning her of something coming. And sure enough the arrival of a helicopter caused her to panick, her symbiote's mask spreading across her face quickly.
"Remain where you are!" With a hiss, the female symbiote host backed away from the loud aircraft, her left hand raising to cover her face. Raising her other hand, May formed a spike, the sharp throwing dagger like weapon then powerfully tossed towards the light, shattering through the glass and destroying the source of the hi-powered beam. Once the light was destroyed, Sin glared her eyes towards the lady with her hand outstretched towards them, a flicker of golden electricty moving across her body for a moment as she growled.
Re: As the day goes by.......
The instinctive 6th sense these creature's possessed would have warned them before hand of the arrival of the power high demon who appeared behind the group, fading into sight without a sound to announce his coming. The high-ranking creature of the underworld, formally known as Balthazor, took a step towards them, his hand stretching out as a ball of hellfire formed above his palm. He ignored the other male totally for this point in time, his one goal was to capture the otherworldly SpiderGirl, she'd make an excellent addition to his elite strike force..
With the collection he was forming, he'd have the power to eliminate the X-Men for what they had done previously to embarrass him in front of Lord Kayel by taking Conner and Madison Enright from his clutches. They ruined his chance of recreating the Weapon X project, though he did manage to succeed with Connor, they only got started on Madison, plus they hadn't had the chance of brainwashing them into the services of A.Corp. Well he won't let them muck up his plans again; he'll finish them off before they get the chance to mess up the next mission he has been preparing for.. Lord Kayel would be highly disappointed if Cole failed again, and this next assignment will be extremely important.. He won't allow the X-Men to ruin it for him.. He'll get this team together and destroy them before they get the chance to destroy him!
Pulling his hand back, he then throws the fireball as hard as he could towards the male crouching upon the ground, his body instantly fading from where he stood after firing at Ray and appearing in front of May. He teased her, he knew she was unstable and frightened.. and the demon in him had to play on that. Fading away from her sight before she could attack, he appeared again behind her, careful not to touch her due to her unusual shocking abilities.
Re: As the day goes by.......
As the fiery attack sped towards the other black Symbiont host, Sin, who was too close to avoid being hit by the fire if she remained where she was, leapt out of the way. Turning around to see if the other boy was harmed or escaped damage, she was instead faced with staring at the chest of the demon that had been hunting her all day. With a frightened yell the young girl stumbled backwards, watching as he disappears, trying to turn around and run off in the other direction, she was once again confronted with the powerful demon.
Her body sparked with an electric current as she tried to move away from him in fear, she remembered his grip, he was very strong, she had a terrible bruise on her left wrist where he had grabbed her earlier. Not to mention a few others that scattered her body from the last fight, he knew her, he knew her real name and her code name, he knew everything about her and she hasn't even been in this world for over 18 hours. Holding out her hands, May's palms facing the man, there was pulse before an electric pulse shot out towards the part demon.
She knew her attacks wouldn't faze him, he always just faded away before she could hurt him, but she tried to use it as a chance to disable that helicopter. They'd be unable to get far if that things chases after them, it'd leave Cole to find them on his own, her hand stretched out, her strong spider webbing shooting out from her right wrist towards the propeller.
Re: As the day goes by.......
The young man's eyes readjusts as the bright light was destroyed. Under his symbiotic mask, a smirk stretched across his face. Now that he could accurately see, he was going to blow the helicopter away. At the exact moment the electric flicker moved across the symbiotic woman's body, yellow particles of energy circled Ray's left hand. The low high pitched noise irritating his symbiote. He didn't care at them moment. With one well aimed blast, he could take the helicopter out.
But, right before he was about to, Ray got an odd feeling. He spins around, only to see a man. He had no clue who he was, or if he had some sort of power. With that known, it added another extreme danger to the situation. Syndicate didn't like that much. The muscles in his body locked up, ready to spring if a pouncing attack was needed. Then, all of a sudden, the strange man formed a ball of fire. The symbiotic eyes, along with his own, widen because of it. He was hoping this guy didn't have super powers.
And when he least expected it, the ball of hellfire was launched at him. Before he jumps, the ball strikes his body. The symbiote hisses in pain along with the young man as they are flung across the rooftop. The symbiote started to peel itself off of Ray's body and starts to seep back into his body while half of it starts to pull itself off. Ray noticed the man suddenly fade away.....
"A man, he was here....then he was there, then he was... then he was gone before he came back."
"His hands, he throws fire, fire's bad..."
Then, it hit him. The words which Ray could not understand earlier on finally registered meaning in his brain. A man, fading. Hands that throw fire. Why fire is bad. He knew it all now. It's just too bad he didn't know earlier. As half of his symbiote statrs retracting itself and grafts back onto Ray's body while the other half pours out and fuses with the other half, as he sat, propped up by a power box, all he could think about was getting some payback. Slowly, the young man raises up to his feet, his body posture signalling he was ready for a fight.
He wouldn't just let someone hit him with a fireball and kidnap someone right in front of him without attempting an attack....
Re: As the day goes by.......
The instant the webbing wrapped around the blades of the helicopter, Gwen threw herself out of the aircraft before it spun downwards out of control. The daughter of the well know Emma Frost, former white Queen of the Inner Circle, stood up, her hand dusting off unseen dirt from her gloves.
"Well.. that was annoying." She grumbled with a certain tone of voice that hinted she didn't really care about the chopper, only the inconvenience of lack of transport. The young Queen stepped a few feet towards SpiderGirl, her alluring eyes glanced over towards Syndicate before giving the faintest of smiles and looking back at Sin.
In the corner of Gwen's eyes, she could see Cole appearing behind the boy, Gwen would be very worried if she was in their positions, she knew Cole was far more powerful then he appeared. And him toying around with his pray often made people assume otherwise.. but Gwen had seen the damage he has caused and strength he possesses. But Gwen was smart.. she knew which team to side with, it's why she was rich and powerful.. and these creatures where cowering on a rooftop in hiding.
With a flick of her wrist, Gwen sends out a blast of white-blue electricity towards the otherworldly mutant, but SpiderGirl's famous Spider-like abilities easily enabled her to leap out of harms way. This childish girl was infuriating, can't she just give up, she's already defeated.. she just doesn't realize it yet, there's no escape from both A.Corp and the Inner Circle.
"Come on Miss Parker, aren't you getting tired yet?" The young Miss Frost asked with a slight smirk, folding her arms as she concentrates on forming a shield around her so the otherworldly girl can't lunge at her as she had once done earlier.
Gwen: (to a noisy Angel) Geez. Where were you when they taught stealth in superpower school?
(falling into Angel's arms) I did that on purpose.
Angel: That's pretty pathetic.
Gwen: (coyly) If it's a lie or if it's the truth?
(ooc-Sorry for my short post, I was only able to hop on for a few minutes )
By the time the chopper was down, a fact that didn't bother the half demon the slightest, Cole had appeared behind the boy who was daring to intrude on personal matters that did not concern him. Being 6"2, Cole towered over a lot of people, and these children where no different, however without speaking Cole faded from where he had appeared, reappearing to the right of Syndicate, a smug expression worn upon his face.
"You have no idea what you're getting yourself involved with." The high demon warned the boy, if he made things too difficult.. Cole could simply take both of them, although this boy was nothing special in Cole's eyes, he could still be useful. A cruel smile faintly seen on Cole's lips as he moved even closer to the young human.
"It's be best.. for you.. if you just leave." The old demon could smell the mutant gene within the creature before him, to him, mutants where simply animals to be studied..
Re: As the day goes by.......
Ray quickly spins around as the demon Cole appeared behind him. He only caught a quick glimpse of the tall man before he vanished once again. Now, Syndicate's eyes dart around, looking to see if the man reappeared someplace near. Soon, he did as his image came into view towards the right. In a panic, he turns towards that direction, fearing an attack would come tha the wouldn't see. Luckily, the man hasn't attacked...for the moment.
"You have no idea what you're getting yourself involved with."
"Yeah, you're right," the symbiotic mutant replies, cracking his knuckles while doing so, "I don't know who you are or why you're doing this. Frankly, I could care less." Right then, Ray had to make a decision: drop his symbiote so his blasts would be more potent, or keep it up. He already decided he wasn't going to run, so that was out of the question. Since the symbiote was still bonded with him, he still had the extra abilities that came along with it. But, with it down, he wouldn't be able to shoot web lines, which wasn't such a big sacrifice in his eyes. But, if he let the man see his face, it would be easier for him to be located if he manages to escape, so the job could be finished later.
"It's be best.. for you.. if you just leave."
Syndicate snickers as he shifts his body into a slight martial arts stance. From what it looked, Ray was open for an attack from all sides, but he was actually ready for an attack on all sides. Since he was dealing with a teleporter, it makes the most logical since. "Maybe it is best for me to just leave. I would, but I can't just leave this unattended. I'd feel bad." Energy seems to bounce around Ray's hands, irritating the skin of the symbiote. But, since he didn't want to be stalked if he walked away from this alive, it was just something he would have to deal with.
Re: As the day goes by.......
As soon as a blast of electricty shot out from Gwen's hand, Sin leapt into the air, avoiding the attacking with a simple backflip. At the mention of her name, May crouched down with another growl, leaping forward to attack, only to collide against a shield, the barrier around May's attacker sausing her to be thrown off with a shock of electricity. The charge caused her own powers to flicker unwillingly across her body, but with a glare at the Black Queen's smirk, May pulled herself to her feet.
"Going home, want to go home, let us go home!" The young SpiderGirl formed more spikes which she threw towards the electric mutant's barrier. As soon as Sin realized her attacks where useless as long as the mutant had her shield up, the symbiont host decided instead to be patient. And out of May and Sin, May was far more patient then the symbiont, so Sin pulled away from May's face, the symbiont seeping back into her body completely. The familiar red and blue Spider costume was hidden beneath, May's red fair fell about her shoulders as her eyes stared at Gwen and waited for her to leave her protective barrier that she hid within. Her mask was damaged in her earlier fight, so it was useless and Sin had discarded it without another thought. They already knew her name and what she looked like, so May wasn't really bothered about keeping her identity a secret.
"We don't want to be part of your group, leave us alone.." May knew saying this wouldn't help get them away, but right now she didn't really care, she wanted them to leave her alone so badly. And she was so anxious, she just wanted to run, she wanted to turn and run so badly.. but she didn't want to spend the rest of her life running from them, she didn't want to hide any more if she could stop them here and now.
Re: As the day goes by.......Foolish creature. It was the only thing that flew through Coles mind as he stared for a moment at the boy with a smug look about his face. Letting his eyes wonder over towards the SpiderGirl who came from another dimension, Cole then frowned as he stared back at Syndicate. The Part demon could simply shimmer off, grab her, and shimmer away before he even could turn around to see what was happening. What did this mortal honestly think he could do to save her?
"My dear Miss Frost, please, if you will, call another Chopper for yourself." The way he ignored Ray showed how little respect or worry he had concerning the symbiont host. While she did that behind the safty of her shield, Cole turned his attention back towards the black suited boy before him. The flames of hell fire began to seep across his skin and clothes, his eyes focused coldly upon the mutant as he waited..
"If you wish to fight.. then I'm waiting.. if you're are just going to stand there... then I have far more important business to attend to." The faint smirk that fluttered across his lips as he waited, his body covered in flames like a defencive shield.
