B5: Rangers
I STRONGLY encourage everyone, both TWaF and Terran people, to watch the pilot movie "Babylon 5: Legend of the Rangers" when it comes out, Jan 19th on SciFi. I'm going to keep pestering you all, because whether or not a series spawns from it depends on it's ratings, and I will do all I can to improve them .
You can understand it without seeing B5 just fine. There's only a few throwaway references to the series (think Swedish Meatballs), so newcomers should have no problems.
Its Great though!
And its on again a 5pm EST tomorrow, Sunday 1/20, directly after the B5 pilot "The Gathering" at 3pm.

I will definitely be seeing it! I loved Babylon 5 and was so disappointed that they rushed to end it when they could easily have made another season or two, just with the plots they had going!

SciFi is still "on the fence" as to whether "Rangers" should become a series. The telemovie didn't do very well in ratings on the east, because it was competing with the highest-rated football game in years.
However, in the west, where football wasn't competing, it did EXCELLENT in the ratings.
