I think people who follow him are very mindless, easygoing and brain-washed. Everything Manson says is JUST MARKETING. His lyrics, his behavior, his performances, his interviews, everything he represents is FAKE. He's not that person we see onstage, he's not really like that. I have a lot of arguments to prove that he is not what he shows and I'll put all of them here later.
Simplifying my alibi: MANSON SAYS HE'S A BAD GUY. BAD BOYS LIE TO THEIR PARENTS, SO BAD FAMOUS PEOPLE LIKE MANSON LIE TO THEIR PUBLIC.
That's the truth and I know what I'm saying. As I told before, I'll put all my arguments here later. I like Manson, I listen to him everyday and I'm a fan, but not fanatic. I'm listening "Long hard road out of hell" right now, and I say to you: Manson's just an artist, a music maker, all of what he says isn't there to be worshiped and people shouldn't believe it. Don't believe him just because he seems very intelligent and right.
you are right ...Brian is very intelligent not to mention he is ORIGINAL...determined and unique...hey hes up for a grammy...not many people I know...well I know him...so 1 person i truly know is up for a grammy...it's more than I can say for the others who bash him...when they are nominated maby ill listen to what they have to say until then...oh well...

You don't have to listen to him if you don't want to. You don't know him personally, so don't you fvking DARE judge him.

So, being a fan of an entertainer means you follow them? This is laughable.
I'm a Manson fan, not because I "follow him" or preach to others through his lyrics... but, because he's entertaining. Because, he's an artist.
But, according to you, I MUST be a follower. I MUST be brainwashed. Uh oh watch out, I might go tear up the bible you own stashed away in your nightstand ...*laughs*
It's funny because, my mom is a Catholic-Christian and LOVES Manson. She loves him, because she appreciates art and entertainment, not because she wants to follow him in some sort of "cult-like" manner.

excuse moi, I had to re-read your post to clearly understand your point, so excuse my last post please.
I agree to a point.
However, I think Manson "Followers" are highly uncommon, and not sane to begin with.
I respect and admire as an ARTIST no more, no less.
