Be Prepared
If your planning on ghost hunting and think your going to have fun, and just pic a few evps up, or just because of the fad. Please think about a few things before you do so. Ive had many people want to go with us, but I am very concerned for the individuals safety. I may seem to be picky and people will not speak to me after that, but in all respect. I dont want to put fragil people in a haunted location, so they will get emotionally distressed. Yes it can, and it will happen.
Spirits can become attached to a human, which may last months, years or throughout your lifetime. Seriously,.. think of what is being said. There have been people that came my way and only to find the first experience they encountered was the end of there investigating saga, and they dont want to do it anymore. But really is it the end for them? Or perhaps the emotional stress is what will get to them. Either way, it will always be on ones mind.
Opening yourself up and not knowing how to control or handle situations can lead you down the wrong path, and the further you go down that path, the worse it can get. This blog isnt meant to scare anyone. But with so many people that go to haunted locations unprepared, seem to be huge targets in the other worlds eye. If you also are going to go, and start finding evps saying "They dont like you" ect... Well I would not take a second look at that location again, and consider myself to be a target and not go back, no matter how much we all want evps. When in doubt..Get the....Out.
If you still think nothing can happen, you may want to check our EVP page on our website. This past investigation, I got slapped by a spirit. Yes, it felt like a heat burn and hit the lower back corner of my back, and then you will hear a voice say "You Who" on the recorder afterwards. This to me is conformation that the sting didnt happen outta know where, someone did this intentionally.
In todays ghost hunting society, I have become aware that the best equipment a team has, is the best team out there. Well where did this all come into play? It doesnt matter on how much equipment one has to be better than the next. You need to build each case individually. Some spirits will cooperate with you, and some will not. Its the luck of the draw, or the better gentleman or lady. I do not display my equipment on our website. The reason being is because. If someone seriously needs our help. I dont think there first question is, I wonder if they have the Digital EMF meter? Or the Flir? They are not concerned at that point, they just need help.
