Best missing secondary character...
I cant believe this darkhorse, even a possible final four candidate was missing: The "Generic Pimple Face Teenager".

There were some bad choices as 15th and 16th seeds ;-) easily replaced.

Who else was missing?

Do you disagree with how hilarious GPFT was?

Left out Characters
Good point! What are you going to do? Get your own
tournament and invite your little friends? I'd like to see
that!.....I guess he showed me!
How about Uncle Herb? (Homers brother) He is definitely
more memorable then Poochie or Kearny.

best missing character
The best secondary character that was missing was Handsome Pete. He doesn't have any lines, but he always makes me laugh.

Another great character is Wendell, he's the best of all the school kids. You can't beat a kid with a queasy stomach.

Re: best missing character
I missed having Frank Grimes in the bracket. He was in as many episodes as Poochie, so I don't know why he wasn't in there.

Re: best missing character
At least as big as Poochie and probobly a better choice:

Akira

"Yes, you have very lucky dishes, Mr. Simpson. This soap is from the sacred forests of Hokkaido, renowned for its countless soap factories."

OR

Bill/Arnie Pie

OR

George Bush

GPFT
I thought I was the only one who noticed this!!! I can't believe they had POOCHIE in the race, but not Pimply Cracked-Voice Boy. I love him!

Missing characters
I know this is not a character in the truest sense, but what about Homer's brain? It deserves a little respect, having been constantly bumped while Homer gets out of the car, poisoned with beer, and having to listen to Ned Flander's blathering about the difference between apple cider and apple juice.

I want Frank Grimes too
I'm surprised I'm not the only one who wanted Grimes to make it in there, even though he died after one episode. People tell me, I remind them of Grimes.

Now they like to call me Grimey.

And how can you forget
Turbo( was In 2 episodes) Who else can take a chair to the back, except mabey homer.

Erm, I think we're all beginning to lose sight of the real issue here, which is:
what are we going to call ourselves?
And I think it comes down to a choice between "The League Against Salivating Monsters," or
"and this is my personal preference --
"The Committee for the Liberation and Integration of Terrifying Organisms and their Rehabilitation Into Society."
Erm, one drawback with that -- the abbreviation is C.L.I.T.O.R.I.S.

Missing Characters
Where was Gil? He's been in plenty of episodes, and even has a name.
Oh, no! This can't have happened! Not to Gil! Gil needed those votes!

What about the really tall guy.
I liked the guy that was really tall.

Of course, I only saw himm once, but maybe I missed his triumphant comeback...

Grimes is eligible!
Frank Grimes made a second appearance in the recent Halloween episode where important people (including Lisa and Marge) were rocketed to another planet when the Earth was doomed.

If you look closely, you see Grimes standing in line to get on the rocket, along with several celebrities who once appeared on the Simpsons (such as Mark McGwire).

Uh...maybe sitting in the 14-seed in the "School" region?

That said, I can't believe the committee left out DRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREDERICK TAAAAAAAAAAAAAATUMMMMMM.

I'm definitely gonna make orphans of their children.

Secondary Character
The best character not on the ladder was clearly:

McBain

"....but Captain, how can I avenge the death of my partner with this pea-shooter?"

I think McBain will go the distance in the second tourny

Re: Secondary Character
I can't believe you people, Poochie rocks.

The Poochie episode was excellent and that scene where he got hit by the car had me rotflmao.

Anyway I agree with the person that said Herb.
