Porn is too expensive The adult companies are trying to screw us over at every corner by getting our credit card numbers and setting up automatic charges on the website and making it tedious to find the place to cancel. Unfortunately this was made worse by the government who required credit card age verification. Verification is not necessarily a bad thing (although I feel there's nothing wrong with a 16 year old reading Playboy, etc.)but the thing is the same credit card that verifies age can be used to charge money. I'm not saying we need to nationalize the adult industry or anything crazy Marxist thing like that; but I would support price controls and sales regulations to make sure consumers' rights are being looked out for. |
