You are not the first one, I read about someone else a couple of months back.
This is starting to be a concearn of mine, I wonder if workmanship is poor & quality control missing.
I saw another unit in a dealer about 3 hours away over Easter and this unit had visible sloppiness from factory.
It was parked in an unpaved lot and not sold, so maybe!!
Now the one I saw about 2 hour away, looked good, it was inside and really shiney, and huuuge.
And wouldn't you know it, we bought/ ordered the same about 5-6 weeks ago. The inlaws were awestruck.
I hope that Tom or someone else from Pilgrim reads these and steps up to the plate and improves workmanship.
We all need to protect our purchases and resale values.
To fix you problem go to Home Depot and get a roll of "Magic Wrap". Similar to electricians tape but water tight to 100psi. About $ 5 - 6 worth, you should have had this in your repair kit anyway, right.
About your shower door, if it is along the bottom, the seal might not be touching and need to be lowered, Loosen driprail, lower seal and retighten.
Good Luck
