Personality: Blue is a very self-centered individual. His primary concern is how things are going to affect him and how he can best prosper from any given event. Though he may currently seem like a loyal and valuable member of the ELF military force, the reality is that he is little more than a turncoat that would abandon ELF the second an opportunity arises. Blue is a very go-with-the-flow type person and it is unlikely that he would use his full abilities on a regular basis. This is especially true in his current situation as he would not perform anything more than the mission objectives his superiors give to him.
History: Blue Kubris was born and lived most of his life in space. His parents were colonists looking to makes a new life for themselves by distancing themselves from the growing conflict brewing between Mars and Earth. His father and mother were originally hired to mine for ore within the asteroid belt separating Mars and Jupiter. As it turned out, the mining operation was actually a front for a small organization that engaged in the smuggling of contraband between Mars and Jupiter as well as various acts of piracy that occurred within the belt. Blue joined the pirates at sixteen and became a fighter pilot for them. As he gained experience, he became something to fear for his guerilla tactics.
Recently, ELF discovered the location of the pirates’ headquarters on a large asteroid and launched a large scale attack. The pirates were destroyed at the cost of a number of ELF casualties due to fighting in the asteroid belt. Blue managed to survive only to be captured by ELF forces. He was tried and found guilty of piracy with the sentence of death. However, his death was faked and he was given a chance to become a pilot for ELF in lieu of an actual execution. He accepted the deal and a small bomb was surgically implanted in his neck to prevent him from ever escaping. He now pilots a VF-22S in secret missions that ELF needs done.
Weapon: None unless you count the bomb planted in his neck
Special Features: A tiny explosive device surgically implanted inside of his neck that can be detonated remotely in a moment’s notice should Blue rebel against ELF or attempt to escape. It will also explode if he gets further than a hundred meters from a ELF military facility (his VF-22S would be considered a facility). The charge is only strong enough to ensure his death and would do little more than make a mess of Blue.
