Since the weekend away on the island Madison had been even more inclined to get into fights with Frost, and even though Frostbite was more then happy to fight back she knew right now wasn’t the time to get on Madi’s bad side. Losing family members was always hard and Frost could see the frustration and anger in her rival, more so then normal anyway. It put the ice powered mutant in a tight spot considering Madison had more of an arsenal compared to Frostbite and in Madi’s mood she wouldn’t hesitate to go to the extremes they both usually steered clear of.
The only problem was that both the girls had more in common then they liked to admit, so usually they’d clash heads in the danger room, where Frost had been entertaining herself all morning until someone else had arrived and she quickly retreated to the control rooms. Last thing the frosty empowered mutant wanted was to be blasted across the room by a temperamental Madi and then to get in trouble herself for responding to the assault, coz that would happen, everyone would be on Madison’s side with her brother missing.
However it appeared all the work of darting out of there was for nothing, it was just some other girl, and to Frost’s surprise it was someone who wasn’t so picky with her safety. Well… Frost wasn’t one to pass up a chance regardless of the situation and she smiled her trade mark smirk as swift fingers moved over the control panel.
The scene shifting to another planet, a strange jungle scene full of noise, the natural forest ambiance loud and clear though in the distance there was a rumbling of something definitely unnatural… the Sentinels still there and still coming for the girl. It definitely increased the risk but Frost was hardly one to care, the settings were the same as what Shalimar had put it for, even if visual range was limited.
There was a clearing Shal was standing in, the floor somewhat sandy but firm enough to run on nevertheless, the vibrant array of flowers scattered the edge of the clearing, including a small tree which Frost had altered with her computer knowledge, turning into a more cartoon-like object. The tree had its own face smiling lifelessly back at Shal, a branch pointing off in the opposite direction to the Sentinels while the other held a small sign saying ‘run that way stupid’ an old gimmick Frost had used on Madi, much to the Enright’s surprise and annoyence.
