Catherine's and Lisa's diariesSunday 26th April 2023
Catherine spent most of the day with Lisa who has taken it upon herself to show her team mate around. Catherine was silently impressed by what she saw, the school, the grounds, stables, tennis courts, swimming pool, the whole works as far a student. (even a team member) is allowed to go, some rooms such as the danger room and war room were out of bounds to the pair.
During the day there was a kind of grudging friendship growing between the pair of them. (upon Cat's side anyway) Lisa wasn't the usual type of girl Cat befriended but Lisa was being so nice to her that she had little other choice and it was hard to be grumpy for long stretches when everyone else around you is happy.
Catherine also spent the day insisting to Lisa that she was leaving the next day, she was just making sure Dave was alright after they'd got back from Lost Angels and helping Rogue settle in and then she was outa there ...
Lisa had rather a shock when Dawn informed her Riley was classified as dead, she like Dawn just doesn't know what to think anymore. She's becoming more confused by the day as to everything she is finding out about Riley, the discovery that his parents were alive stunned her even more. She carn't understand why Riley has been lying to them.
Monday 17th April 2023
Lisa was up at the crack of dawn, she tired to wake Cat up with absolutely no success apart from the sound of something heavy being thrown at the back of Cat's door and a mumbled curse as Cat drew the covers over her head.
Catherine awoke near midday and went foraging in the kitchen, Lisa found here there during her lunch break happily munching her way through a loaf of dry bread. After seperating the two and much scolding Lisa prepared her some sandwiches.
Lisa and Dave managed to persuade Cat to attend some lessons however the only subjects she would take were music, English, auto mechanics, psychology, general science (under pain of death from David) and once Lisa had dragged Cat to her next dance lesson she consented to do dance as well, under the proviso that Lisa would take auto mechanics, Lisa grudgingly agreed to this if only to mend her car. The pair of them are both partnering Dean since there wasn't a spare partner for Catherine.
The two girls spent the evening trying to get Dawn to come out from her room with no success so they retired to Lisa's room to unhappily much their way through a whole packet of chocoalte busicuits, Lisa for once didn't seemt o care what they were eating. The remainder of the night was spent on their favourite topic of talk (well Lisa's anyway) Riley Finn, Cat just nodded at all the right places and tired to look sympathetic though she's beginning to wonder exactly who Riley Finn was.
Tuesday 18th April 2023
Cat was up too late to attend her first lesson of general science much to Daves displeasure, however she did make it to auto mechanics. They didn't get around to much pratical work but Cat agreed to help Lisa fix her car in and out of lessons, even though Cat didn't know an awful lot about cars. Most of what she knows was gleened from listening to Brad and Jon talk or watching him replace the engine of Jon's car to make it faster.
She was kept so busy that day, especially in the English lesson where she hardly understood anything the teacher was talking about and was given an essay and a book, being told that she had to catch up to the place the others where in the book that she didn't even have time to think about leaving.
She spent the first half of the day getting to know Dawn a little better though the girl seemed really down over Riley's dissaperance. Cat is beginning to wonder if Dawn had a crush on Riley, the way she's been moping around, however she kept her views to herself.
Lisa spent the evening worrying over the fact that Dawn hasn't been eating properly and fretting over where Riley has goen. She kept on checking up on Cody's progress at every opportunity, however she's begun to think that she's probably annoying him ... but she's dying to know whats written in the diary.
Wednesday 19th April 2023
Awakeing determined to leave that day she discovered that she couldn't find Cody or Angela she decided the pair of them must be in lessons.
She spent the morning pretending she was listening in lessons while she stared out of the window, wondering if Brad and Nina would take her in when she got back, the probably would, at least she knew they would until she managed to get herself settled.
Lisa realised that she likes Dave and she'd not sure what to do about it. She wants to tell someone but Dawn's locked in her room, Rileys gone, Catherine is his cousin and Anglea has gone missing. She beginning to feel quite lonley without Dawn or Angela.
Thursday 30th 2023
Spent the day telling Cody there wasn't much she could do about Angela, though she's becoming increasingly worried about her two friends. Shes coping with what they've found out about Riley by telling herself that there must be some simple explanation for whats happened. She is still expecting Riley just come walking back upto the school any day now to explain himself and continue his education.
Cat spent most of the day with Dave since everyone seemed to have gone into depressional mode, she didn't really know Riley well enough to miss him that much. She realised today that she'd done none of the homework she'd been set, spent most of the evening dithering around pretending to do her school work in a not really doing it kind of way.
Friday 31st 2023
Even Lisa became upset once she'd read the letter from Riley's mother, she wants to know how he can live with himself after everything she'd discovered. She's still going to lessons, but she's not taking notes, she's also stopped nagging Cat to do so.
Catherine is looking forwards to the weekend when there are no lessons. She doesn't understand anything her teachers are saying in lessons the depression that surrounds her other friends seems to be affecting her. She didn't attend afternoon lessons but spent the day on the lawn sunbathing.
She went to bed early, thinking that she'd leave tomorrow once she found Cody.
