Center of the clubbing district:'Panacea' Hotel(MATURE CNT!)
Continued From: The Euphoria of Sinful Desires (Matt's room)

The dinner had been utterly dull and since even his mother longed for the night to end, she had allowed Max to leave earlier. His dad hadn't been happy with her permission, but Max was going to the 'Panacea', where Amy often worked and was allowed to bring her special 'clients' when she needed a place. Because of that, Steven didn't see the harm in letting Max go out, as long as he promised not to go clubbing since he was grounded. Max went so far as saying he'd ask if any of his tutors were free to spend some time helping him with his work.

That's his when his mother went on about how pleased she was with him taking up Contemporary literature and French, in truth, Max had no clue what Contemporary literature was, he hadn't heard the word contemporary before and didn't even know it meant modern. Max pictured himself being forced to read Shakespeare or poems, or something else equally as stupid. His dad spent some time in France and thought it was good that Max started showing an interest in speaking other languages, that way he can travel and get more involved in the business world around him.

The 'Panacea' was pretty nice, white crushed pebbles formed the road that lead from the path to the entrance of the building, a small water feature was placed in front of the 4-story structure. The fountain had a meter tall smooth stone horse statue that had two wings sprouting from it's back, a jet of water shot out from its gorgeously carved mouth, spraying out at the top and falling to the rocks. There wasn't actually a pool of water, the water would drain down the rocks and be collected and seep back into the base of the fountain to be reused. There were soft white and green lights in the garden around the fountain, the white path and light walls glowing faintly in the dark as the light that hit their surface.

By the time he had arrived to the hotel it was a quarter past twelve, Max hovered outside, not wanting to go inside in case Matt walked by not noticing this was the place. Which was absurd of Max who was admittedly tired and upset from some things his dad had mentioned during the dinner. The words 'Panacea' where written on a plaque that was on the ground but right out the front of the building, just on the lawn, gold letters on a grey-blackish marble stone.

Already growing impatient, Max made his way over the lawn towards the center garden and water feature, the Pegasus wasn't his choice, it was James who wanted to do something for the ladies to admire. And a lot of them did like the statue, the guys tended not to really care, James and Max ended up playing around here a lot, especially on the hot days were they'd lay down and soak up all the water that fell from the horses mouth. Another separate jet had water running down the smooth rocks so they'd end up getting absolutely drenched, but it was fun..

His dad has continuously tried to alter things, like their fish aquarium in the reception hall, change the fountain, refurnish it, but his brother had organised all that with him, it was the only time he's ever refused his dad, and his mother was always on his side saying that Steven wanted Max to learn how to handle things on his own. It was quiet tonight, being the beginning of the weekend meant that most of their guests had left within the last few hours to go out and enjoy whatever kind of entertainment they were indulging in. Only few would stay and take advantage of the hotel's own facilities for reasons only they could know. Not that Max would care if it was completely packed, he still would do what he was about to do, and that was pull of his shirt and drop it over one of the ferns that were around the fountain.

The fountain had seemed so much larger when he was younger, his palms pressed against one of the smooth rocks and he smiled as water ran over his skin. He had always loved water, he stopped swimming in the family estate pool when James left.. it was just boring swimming on his own. Max was never meant to be an only child, he was the kind of kid that needed constant attention and endless activities that he could pour his limitless amounts of energy into. If he had still had contact with his brother, then maybe Max wouldn't focus so much of his time around sex, and experience more of the other things that was out there for him to enjoy.

But Max didn't know what even happened with his brother, it had seemed all normal in the morning the day he disappeared, but by the time Max returned from school his brother's room had been packed and cleaned and everything was taken away. Max was eleven so it wasn't like he could go out there and find his brother on his own, the only thing he even had left was a watch that his brother snuck under Max's pillow before being taken off the estate. The silver watch had James's lucky coin as the face, which told Max he got the watch specially made for him, it was meant to be Max's birthday present.. but James knew he'd have little chance of seeing his little brother on the upcoming birthday.

It was a habit of the Chadstone's, when something doesn't agree with them, they find a way to get rid of it, when that something threatens to pollute the mind of their children, they'd do anything to keep that threat as far away as possible. That day it just turned out to be their eldest child who could risk polluting their youngest with ridiculous notions and absurd thoughts. To most families it seemed like one of the most cruel and unusual punishments that a parent can do to their child - for the Chadstone's it was the only option they had, and they agreed with it one hundred percent.

Whenever Max asked where James was his parents would change the subject, asking something else and dropping big hints that he wasn't allowed to ask those sorts of questions. Sometimes Max would have waited on the oval where his brother used to play, or at the basketball courts they would often play on during lunches or after school. James never showed though, Max asked his friends but they all said they hadn't seen him and even Cindy, his brother's girlfriend, didn't have a clue where he was. The days had dragged into weeks and his pain turned into aggression, his relatively good grades became failures and his attitude towards his parents harsh and demanding. That's the time he started bullying really, before that he never had time since he'd always be focused on his brother, playing with or watching him. Max idolized the elder sibling, another reason their parents had decided to split them.. in their opinion it was for Max's own safety.

Steven only started being really abusive when Max became so hard to handle, before then it was just getting slapped here and there for doing something wrong. After Max's serious attitude change from content day dreamer to angry rebel, there was a year where every day there abuse of some kind, mostly it was just verbal, maybe a threatening raise of his fathers fist or Max being held with a tight grip or being shoved aside, but he only ever had a few broken bones. Needless to say Max altered his behaviour for the sake of survival, but only at home, and over time it became habit to release punishment on anyone whom did him wrong, be it word of mouth or some other way.

It was easy sometimes to see that there was more to Max then just the typical aggression many students at the school have seen. Most tend to be blinded by that however and don't bother to try and understand their bully - honestly, who wants to have a chit chat and physiological discussion with the guy who would throw them across the room without (as far as they could see) any real reason. The past year he's matured, not many people would notice, or care, but Matt has a seen a side of Max that most wouldn't know was there, not including the whole gay side of him.. Garnet caught a few glimpses of both sides of Max, the content and affectionate, laid back and relaxed, taking it easy and glade just to have company side, and the other side that just screams out that he doesn't care about anything and all that mattered was getting what he felt he needed with as little complications as possible.

Slowly Max's skin turned to stone as water cascaded down onto him, his eyes remained natural and unchanged, as did his clothes, the inside of his mouth still soft and moist, as Matt would have noticed when Max had kissed him while stone skinned once. His back rested against one of the stones, since the fountain was low on the ground it meant he could lay down without his being uncomfortable, his legs stretched out on the grass ground, his feet disappearing into long blades of green leafs. A couple past, from the distance Max probably looked like part of the water feature, he hadn't thought of that, but he his hands were reaching up and catching some of the larger droplets that fell, so if Matt passed it shouldn't be *too* difficult for him to notice the living statue.

Re: The center of the clubbing district: 'Panacea' Hotel.
(OOC: :evil I was juuust explaining why I went into details there… didn’t criticise that you didn’t *shakes head* sheesh, you really should learn to understand what I mean… be telepathic for Goddess’ sake :b )

Bright moonlight illuminated his path, making it a silvery road through the dark before he reached an area that had streetlamps to lead the way, calling forth darkblue reflections in the contrasting mutant’s long hair that he was wearing untied. Matt preferred parks and other places that weren’t fully cemented over what had become a fashion in the past decades – cities consisting of nothing natural, just cement, glass and metal – but one disadvantage was the lack of decent artificial light in those greener areas at night. The ruffling of wings and the following cry spoke of an owl’s presence – maybe it was getting ready for this night’s hunt or had just returned successfully.

Dashing shadows, flapping wings interrupted the following silence of the night town which was buzzing with life anywhere but in this quiet part which he had chosen to cross. Looking up, Matt thought to see a bat or two on several occasions, yet as usual you couldn’t be certain and an air of mystery was added to the scene while a clear and unclouded sky spoke of cold hours to come.

Max’s words had been so vague, he wasn’t at all sure when the infamous school bully wanted them to meet at the hotel which Matt had heard was part of the Chadstone empire – something that didn’t actually surprise him since he knew that his playmate’s family was quite wealthy and influential, however, those dimensions were difficult for him to comprehend – something so large being the property of so few related people.

It was shortly past midnight when he arrived at the Dying Star. Absent-minded as he was, the contrasting mutant’s steps led him right to the club’s entrance and only when he was about to step in he actually realized he was wrong. Frowning and grinning at his own strangeness, he simply turned around, scratching the back of his head while he glanced about hoping nobody had seen him.

With the black leather pants and the metal chains hanging at his side which formed a semicircle, the plain sleeveless black shirt that would have pronounced his slender form even more obviously if it hadn’t been for the long black coat he was wearing unbuttoned over it and the silver trias pendant Matt had something slightly nocturnal about, the white skin contrasting as strongly with his clothing as the moon did with the velvet night sky. Some time had passed in which he had just stood in front of the mirror wondering whether Max would like this attire. He wouldn’t change for him the slightest but since the black-haired young man wasn’t always actually dressing goth-like anyway, it wouldn’t actually have meant to change wearing less black. Then again, most of his clothes were of that color and so his version of “dressed to kill” was – save for one blue-white combination - as well.

The Panacea he spotted on first sight, yet Max he didn’t. Seeking gaze examined the entrance hall from the inside before Matt figured the other was waiting outside – somewhere. The grass under his feet whispered ever so quietly as he walked the grounds, the chains giving soft, unobtrusive metallic sounds. A silver-ringed hand ringed played with the accessories as his misty green eyes looked for the familiar form, struggling not to get even more distracted by the fresh night air and the large moon hovering over the scene like a large, beautiful crystal sphere.

The fountain eventually caught his attention, especially since he found the Pegasus to be quite kitschy though somehow matching. There was a second statue that even continued on the lawn, something Matt found quite classy until – when approaching – he realized it was in fact Max lying on the ground, his hands playing with the liquid that horse spitted out. It did feel less strange when ignoring the fact what the statue was meant to be…

”You don’t have showers at that place?”
Mild irony curved the light-elemental’s lips in an amused manner as he came to a halt just a few steps away from the other. Squatting down, he pulled the end of his coat over his legs so it wouldn’t touch the ground and maybe get wet, dirty or both – a movement he did in a trained and quick manner almost automatically.

”You look as if your dinner had been the most dullest thing ever,”
Matt stated, the head tilted lightly to the side as he smiled sympathetically before his eyes sneaked off to look at the moon, something that happened quite often with him who was quite obsessed with the enchanting celestial body. His gaze returned after only about a second or two, his arms still resting on his legs with the hands dangling casually from his knees.

"You don’t have showers at that place?"

The voice pulled Max from his distant thoughts and he stared over at the approaching figure, smirking at the comment and lowering his hands and propping himself up slightly on his elbows. There was a pleased look about the stoned features of the youngest Chadstone, if it was a more private area and if Matt hadn't seemed to take care in keeping his clothes clean, Max might have pounced on the other and began their promiscuous acts right there and then. Instead he settled with giving the pale skinned mutant a charming grin.

"You look as if your dinner had been the most dullest thing ever,"

Water continued to spill over him until Max gave groaning sigh and sat up properly, shaking his hands to flick some of the water off before he grabbed at his shirt. This was the only place Max ever cried outside of his room, the only place that he ever let down all the barriers that have ever come up. This place, by the statue, emersed in its waters, was Max's akillies heel, his security blanket, his safe haven.. Garnet, Matt, hell even Paige could get Max to open up when he was here. No one has discovered this yet except Amy, but Max was very open with her anyway, he basically treated her like the older sister he never had.. except he had a sexual relationship with her as well.

"They're always boring." Spoken rather grumpily, Max allowed his skin to lose its rough stone grey texture and return to its tanned flesh state. Dropping the bright orbs to watch as his hands played around with the fabric of his shirt, it was obvious there was something more he wanted to say but his father's orders got the better of him and Max settled with another grumble.

"This was just extra shitty." Max had always been told off by his mother for his use of undecent words, but his dad spoke like that as well as her so it was the kind of language he had grown up with. Compared to his dad he was pretty well spoken, of course in the public eye Steven was far more poshly spoken. Besides, 'shitty' wasn't exactly the worse thing he could say, it was pretty casual, especially with the youths, but his mother would still strike him across the back of the head if he said it within her ear shot.

"Come on, let's go inside, no one from the school aside from Lara has come here as far as I know," It didn't really occur to Max that most people at the school wouldn't pay to go somewhere that risked them bumping into him, they'd prefer spending their money on something promising to be more fun and relaxing. Max's body leaned forward a little, a seducing smirk curving his lips as he as he added playfully.

"Maybe I can show you those showers we have since you seem to doubt our hotel's room service." With a grin, the stone shifting mutant stood up, brushing off some dirt from his pants though he was wet around his waist and the dirt had turned muddy there and left stains. Max didn't seem to mind though, even using his shirt as a towel for a moment as he pressed it against his face and then pulled it over his head and tugged the moist wrinkled fabric down over his muscular torso.

"How long are you staying? Can you stay all night or just for a little while?" Depending on the response, Max would act differently for the night, if it was just an hour or two then Max would act anxious and eager but if it was for the night he'd be more relaxed and calm with only a burst of eagerness here and there, even if they only lasted an hour anyway. While Max waited for a respon, he run his hands through his usually ruffled hair, now it was wet and slightly spiked, there was something so much more classy about him when it was like this, if it was trimmed a little shorter he would definitely look far more mature.

Re: The center of the clubbing district: 'Panacea' Hotel.
Matt returned the other’s grin with his own feeling the sudden urge to just pounce at the other in the one or other way. The tricky thing with meetings that are meant for the sole reason of having sex is that your body tends to prepare for it, focusing on what is to come and when facing the object of your desires, getting to play is actually the only thing you really can think of. However, there was more than just the fact that people may see them that stopped Matt – or rather it was exactly that but not because he would have been embarrassed to kiss another guy in public but due to the simple fact that he had noticed Max didn’t want his newly discovered interest in man to become known.

Contrast was willing to help him hide it from anyone… he was none to tell others such a thing to get back on someone to be the center of interest. Back in school, he could remember someone who he had considered a close friend telling others about what he had kept a secret, something he only told people he thought he could trust. It wasn’t the first time a male friend betrayed him; in fact it only showed him once again that contrary to what people thought men couldn’t be trusted. When it came to showing off with private information of others, many tended to be even more talkative than the worst girls… maybe because sharing it with other men was such a rare thing so chances were low that the one they were talking about knew anything about them that he could use for revenge.

The policy of not doing to others what he didn’t to be done to himself was something that had gradually returned to him after his powers had faded; something that the light-elemental mostly stuck to unless he really disliked someone or there was no other way. And he didn’t actually detest Max… rather the contrary.

A sympathetic look crossed his features as the other gave a hint at the dullness of the dinner. Matt had always disliked family events like those, the ones of the kind that weren’t spontaneous but planned in a way that made them kind of official… especially when people were invited just for the sake of pretending there was the desire to meet them while in truth it was just that one felt obliged to show some interest because they were relatives.

"Come on, let's go inside, no one from the school aside from Lara has come here as far as I know,"

A questioning frown appeared on his face as Matt wondered who this Lara was. Maybe Max’s sister? An old friend, lover, both? He wasn’t really interested in it to a high level but didn’t like hearing names he couldn’t put a picture to. Then again, his riddled memory made occasions when he couldn’t remember people he had actually met quite frequent and so he sort of had gotten used to it.

The youngest Chadstone’s following words distracted him from any other thought than getting to a room and out of other people’s view and so he postponed asking about the girl Max had mentioned. Showering together?
”Sounds nice,”
The look he gave the other implied he thought it to be more than just nice, a tempting idea that he planned to make become reality. There was just a short moment when there was a thoughtful quality to it when his eyes wandered over Max’s body when he stood up as Matt wondered whether the bruises he had seen had healed or there were any new ones in addition. Ever since he had seen them on the other’s toned body, he hadn’t seemed to be able to forget about it. On several occasions, he had found his mind occupied with wondering what really had happened to Max… wondering whether there was any way of helping the other or it had just been some kind of accident.

The question called him back from his oddly mixed thoughts and for a moment he considered acting responsible and mature but then shrugged the idea of. He was quite good at school and flunking classes was something not representing any risk. What they had done he could easily get from someone else or even the teacher pretending he had been feeling sick. Matt didn’t like lying to teachers he liked and so he hoped there would be a way around it but telling the truth or not spending the night with Max were two options unacceptable for him.

”I got time… gonna leave tomorrow morning… or noonish if that’s alright,”
he said with a seductive smile, the tone of his voice implying that he knew very well that Max wouldn’t mind at all… rather the contrary. That feeling of being desired, he loved it and could feel himself getting addicted to it. There was hardly anything that could top the sensation seeing that look in another’s eyes, a glow that seemed to want to engulf him, his everything – a flame he could so easily turn against the other by playing with the fire.

”So lead the way…,”
A playfully ironic gesture followed like an old-fashioned inviting bow that due to the long, black coat had quite an interesting effect. He loved that piece of clothing, something that was quite easy to pick up. The light leather swayed behind him with every step he took, light being dimly reflected by as the leather whispered silently.

Re: The center of the clubbing district: 'Panacea' Hotel.
"I got time… gonna leave tomorrow morning… or noonish if that’s alright,"

Like Max would mind, it at least meant that they could sleep in instead of him having to wake up at any insanely early hour, Max always did prefer waking around noon-ish. Maybe if he woke up a tiny bit earlier he could spend that extra time having some fun before Matt left.

"So lead the way…,"

While they walked, it was obvious Max was getting distracted with looking over Matt's attire, Max himself never got to wear anything like that, he'd get a real clobbering if his father saw him dressed in that sort of get up. Everyone had their moments where they wanted to dress in a dark outfit and just lurk about the clubs, but Max had always wanted a leather jacket since he saw James and even Amy wear one. Jane's one was much shorter though, more fell defined and a handsome fit, giving a classy look instead of the gothic one Matt seemed to inspire, then again the rest of Matt's outfit added to that illusion.

Amy had a long one, snug to her upper body but would flap about as she walked, it felt nice and looked nice, she wasn't allowed to wear it around Max when he was younger after he had asked if he could get one. It's not like Max wanted to get spiked collars and paint his face black and white, he just wanted the stupid coat like the rest of the population got to have one. But his parents where out right against it saying he didn't need any bad publicity and wearing those 'hoodlum' outfits was only going to get him bad press. He didn't want a long one, he wanted one like James had, he's seen other upper class kinds wearing them so he hardly understood why he wasn't allowed. And he most certainly didn't appreciate his mother making his hair sound as if it was wild and all over the place.

It had always been James who had the better dress sense and kept his appearance perfect, though since Max was so young it was hardly his fault that he wasn't as good. But age never mattered in his parent’s eyes, only success and accomplishments.

"Welcome home Max," The elderly yet cheerful voice of the fifty or so year old door man who stood at the door pulled Max from his thoughts. Andrew used to have a habit of calling Max 'Mr Chadstone', it irritated the hell out of him and has demanded everyone simply call him Max since his father was addressed as 'Mr Chadstone' as well. The kindly old face of the man seemed to get a blank stare from Max, sure Max recognised him but it was late and Max has already stated numerous times that Andrew can stand inside the doors and open them from the inside instead of getting ill again like so many times before.

"Andrew.. I thought I said you could stand inside, you can see people coming since the doors are made of glass." The dull blue attire that Andrew was nicely dressed in seemed to start matching the edges of his lips since he was getting rather cold after standing out here for the entire night and he'd not been feeling well lately.

"Yes sir, you did, but Jensen said it wasn't appropriate." Max had that 'Oh did he now?' look on his expression and then a rather sarcastic smile as he glanced at Matt.

"Isn't that interesting, one of my employee's thinks it's not appropriate to keep one of my other employee's healthy." The satirical tone made it highly obvious that Max didn't like saying something only to have it over written by someone else. While he and Matt entered into the foyer, Max kept the door open in a silent order for Andrew to get inside, the lobby was bright even at this time of night.

Looking over towards the reception area, the long desk running along the wall to their right with the words 'Panacea' written in large gold letters on the wooden front of the bench. The floors and bench top and stairs were all white marble with grey-ish blue specks, Max would have personally wanted something not so strong on the eyes, softer colours and some carpet, but he wasn't ready to change anything yet.

"Hey Jensen!" A young manager, light brown hair, sparkling green eyes, cute in a way, but something about the way he looked seemed to radiate 'self-righteous arrogant áòò' as Max would word it. "Remember last month you refused to let Amy in? And you knew how important she is to me, and I said if you ever do something so out of line again I'm firing you?" There was an unsure 'yes sir' in reply, obvious the young man wasn't sure what Max was getting upset over, even though Max seemed to be speaking with a rather bitterly sweet tone. "Well now you're fired." Glancing at one of the only girls left attending reception at this hour, "Hailey, congrat's on your new promotion," Jensen looked completely taken back by the sudden loss of work, the young red head Max had addressed as Hailey had a pretty little smirk - not many liked Jensen but he had been a hard worker so Max tolerated his abuse of power now and then.

Max didn't stop walking while he spoke, continuing to guide Matt over towards the elevator, off to the left of them was a large gathering around, the bar was made of thick glass with fish swimming around inside, all bright and pretty. One of the sections of tank however was home to a collection of piranha’s, located right beside the kitchen door, they fed off all the food scraps and helped keep the level of kitchen waste low. There was a dull dark red carpet with wooden tables, chairs and stools, dim hanging lights and a small area off in the corner set up as a lower stage for either live performances or just music from the stereos. It was a lot more relaxed in there and easier on the eyes at this time of night, a few people still sitting around drinking.

There were stairs leading up to the next floor, and usually Max would run up them instead of taking the elevator unless he had company. And it wasn't unheard off for him to bring a male friend, sometimes he'd have Mark or Tony over, they'd usually get drunk and all camp out in Max's room, the cleaning ladies have seen it often enough.

Tapping the button for the elevator impatiently, Max was glade it was already waiting as the doors opened right away, Jensen's voice was heard calling out for hopes of Max possibly talking things over with him instead of going through with firing him. Stepping into the lift, Max hit the button to close the doors first and then hit the button marked '4', his room was on the top floor, all the larger more expensive rooms were up there. Mirrors surrounded them inside the elevator from their waists up, the red was black walls with a golden handle bar running around just below the mirror for people to hold onto.

As it started to ascend, Max shifted beside Matt, throwing a playful look before trying to focus on the elevator doors, Max has never been one to avoid doing what he felt like that, getting himself muddled up in this 'mess' was proof enough. Side stepping behind Matt as his hands slipped about the other's waist, holding the contrasting mutant firmly against his body with an excited smile.

It was hard to believe not too long ago that Max had been thoroughly content, but it hadn't helped that all he could think about was what he wanted to try and do next time they met. Max's skin was a little cold from the water outside, but with a faint 'ding' noise Max eagerly pulled away and moved ahead to lead Matt to his room. There was a hall down to the left and the right of them, two white couches with gold trimmings in front of the elevator's, a small tall round table between them with a colourful - yet pale so not too striking - arrangement of flowers.

"I'm at the end of this hall," Max pointed down to the right and then hurried off towards the very end door, "Have you eaten? We can order some food if you want, the staff keep the kitchen open till two so they can cook their own meals after their late shift finishes." Max's room was the only door in that hallway that had a panel with code and key card access as well as a lock. Max swiping the card through the slot and then quickly punching in his brother's birthday as his access code and after that unlocking the door.

"You don't have to pay for anything," Max assured his companion, 'sex is payment enough' he inwardly thought, 'very good sex at that' he silently added with a giddy little grin as he shut the door.

The room was huge.. the entrance room was the dinning area by the looks of it, there was a table over by the window a good ten meters in front of them. The wall along the right side of them had a fireplace, the mantle piece was decorated with pictures and in the center of it another basket of pale coloured flowers. In the upper corner of the room closer to the door was a large flat screen TV attached to the wall, an impressive black stereo system beneath it, and - to add a touch of Max to the room - a spilled pack of condoms from his hurried exit last time he left when he knocked them over while shutting everything off.

Cleaners weren't allowed in his room unless he was there, or Amy, or if it was Kristin, she was a little older but she cleaned his family estate for a while so he trusted she wouldn't take anything like some of the others had been caught doing. Max.. being lazy and highly flirtatious at the same time, tended to keep a spare packet in this room so that he didn't have to run into the bed room and then ran all the way back, it felt nicer and kept the mood flowing smoothly if they were right at hand. Usually they were not so evident, he'd keep them out of sight but he hasn't gotten around to putting them away yet.

On the other corner was a collection of bottles, all neatly placed on a rack, with glasses and a tiny fridge to store the ice and other needs that needed cooling was right beside it. The wall's where off white and the floors a mushroom cream carpet, soft beneath the feet and yet still somewhat bright to compared to the way Max had his other room furnished, the only white things Max had was his rug beneath his bed and some of his bed covers..

But one thing that was similar with his room was the mood lights that were scattered discreetly over his ceiling, there was a large doorway leading into the bed room to the left in the center of the room, the empty wall space beside the door less archway was filled by two tall bookshelves. They actually housed a wonderful assortment of reading material, mostly fantasy but a few sci-fi and a minuscule collection of educational reading material. Max didn't have the attention span needed to sit around and read a book, if he just did half an hour a day he might enjoy it but he always saw people spending hours reading a book and it put him off them entirely. That and most of the really brilliant fantasy novels tended to use words he wouldn't entirely understand and it made him feel stupid so he avoided them even more.

The bed room was completely different to the front room, and from standing in the bed room you would see the tiny light pearl blue bead string curtain that was currently pushed to the side, not much for privacy but Amy gave it to him and so that was enough for Max to like it. And they would glitter slightly when the light caught them in the right angles and the girls found it romantic when the mood lights where low.

Most of the walls were covered with pictures, a nasty habit he had, the back of his door had photo's at Xavier's and instead of paintings his room had frames with photo's stuck inside them. He was an obsessive photo collector, but these photos's where for him to admire, not other people, he even had the wall covered in pieces of glass, strategically placed so not to cut out any important parts of the pictures. This meant to look at the pictures properly his guest would have to get closer and Max would obviously notice and be able to distract them. Unlike his bed room at the institute, these photo's weren't of his lady friends or other school mates, they were of him and Amy, or him and James, or his parents, they were more personal and since Max didn't invite many people here it was a safer place to put them.

Though it made the room for most seem extremely cluttered, Max didn't care, when he turned on the coloured lights and put his stereo on (the top corners of his room had speakers that were linked to his main stereo so he got the full effect even in another room) it was a whole lot of fun, and really fantastic when with the right set of friends. Because his room had white light, which was easily seen since it was many small round white glass spots lined along the room which was his mood lighting. And the light in the center of his room, which was currently hidden in an octagonal white box, which he can take off, were coloured disco lights he got when he was sixteen, he doesn't use them much any more.

The larger bed was in the center of the room, pushed up against the wall, off-white covers with brother and black spotted leopard patterned under sheets. Two walkthrough doorways on either side of the room, one which lead into the large bathroom and the other which lead into the other bed room which he used to store his things. Since he was so young when he did the walls he recently got fed up with them and found a way to hide them from view, again something he forgot to do in his rush last time he was here.

But right now he waited for Matt's reply to his question, then he can go into his room and pull down those 'instant wall papers' he amusingly thought up. It was a wooden texture pattern since that's what he was used to, he'd change his covers as well if he could. He had set up, much like you see with window blinds, special blinds that were built into the ceiling and mostly out of sight save for the small metal rails running down along the corners of his room to hold them in place.

One day he seriously needed to redecorate, he just has been too lazy to do that so far, but it was starting to really get tacky, maybe he could get started over the next month or two, the sooner the better.

Re: The center of the clubbing district: 'Panacea' Hotel.
(OOC: I liked those descriptive parts, makes it easier to imagine the place but truth be told, I kinda lost track where exactly the guys ended up… so I just assume some thing and hope it’s all right ^^ ..again.
Ohoh! And if possible, I'd like you to somehow make it possible for Matt to wonder about after... they had some fun - maybe with Max being asleep at least in the beginning, I'd like him to have a look at the photos.. if that's ok. If you have something you especially want him to see, tell me, ok? :D )

Although he wasn’t really paid attention to, Matt nodded a friendly but reserved hello at those they passed. Max seemed to know each and every one of them even with name which was something one might expect from people owning a hotel but then again, most employers tend to see their subordinates rather as a faceless gray crowd, not as individuals. Following the youngest Chadstone, the dark-clothed mutant felt like a silent spectator, unknowing of the bigger picture like the member of a shopping center’s security staff watching what was going on via supervision cameras, seeing people talking and acting without really understanding what was going on.

To him, firing Jensen seemed like quite a random act, an overreaction of some sort, yet he didn’t dare to assume to much, not wanting to do Max wrong since he didn’t know what had happened before. It sure wasn’t all right to let this old man stand outside in the cold all night long… that at least was something he thought to be able to say with certainty.

However, there was no time to linger on that topic anyway, the luxurious surrounding demanding and getting all of the light-elemental’s attention. In his life, he had hardly ever been in hotels like the Panacea… it just wasn’t his class, nothing he had ever been able to afford. The HFC had been in comparable places for brunch on a few occasion and since some of them were at least as wealthy as the Chadstones seemed to be, nobody had ever asked him to pay, especially not when he had been one of the most respected members. Back then, he hadn’t cared much for his surroundings though, the simple gift of amazement covered by egocentricity and worse.

Not then, not there though – and so he wandered the hallways, the eyes large and impressed and somewhat respectful as one might be in a church or at a graveyard. If he had spoken, it wouldn’t have been loud but rather quiet, not wanting to draw attention onto himself since the kind of people who normally spent their holidays in such hotels or just stayed for a night being on business tended to be quite self-important, looked down on everyone not exactly fitting into their narrow, conservative picture of correctness. Normally he silently snorted at those people and ignored them and their looks but this was a different situation. Finding himself humbly polite, Matthias realized he didn’t want to harm Max’s reputation, even though if those people were only a little like Steven Chadstone, they would simply ignore him anyway. Maybe the best way.

The elevator’s doors slid close and so he found himself surrounded by mirrors. An evil thing to happen for whenever he caught a glimpse of himself, Matt would look at his reflection critically. It was no unusual thing for him to be found fiddling with his hair or glaring at his skin if it was irritated or anything else. Fortunately, Max’s possessive embrace let him forget about the mirrors when Matt found himself struggling with natural reactions that he always had to fight when someone he strongly desired was that close, especially in a such intimate way.

Suddenly, incoherently, he wondered whether the elevator had security cameras. He had heard once that most buildings of certain standards had those sometimes useful but mostly nasty gadgets all over the place and although it was quite a pointless attempt with all those mirrors behind which a whole camera team could have been hiding, an inconspicuous glance was thrown at all sides when they left the cabin.

At the mentioning of food, Matt – as usual – noticed a certain appetite demanding attention. ”Yes, tha-“
He just began his reply when he entered Max’s apartment. The mouth half open since he forgot to continue the phrase or at least close it, if at all possible, his eyes widened even more as he froze on the spot, his gaze wandering through the marvelous room slowly.
”-nks,”

After a few moments of rapt silence, the long-haired male started his discovery tour like a child walking a toy store. A dark-clothed child quite a lot of people rather found impressive or even intimidating. An occasional glance searched Max’s eyes as if wanting to make sure everything was all right, that he was not crossing any invisible borders, wasn’t breaking any unspoken rules.

It was the single strikingly ordinary thing that broke the spell of awe.
”This is so you!”
he exclaimed laughing as he spotted the spilled condoms. Yes, he didn’t know many sides of Max… but if there was anything he had been bound to find out about then it was the other boy’s overly strong sex drive.
With a somewhat feline movement of his shoulders, Matt let the long black leather coat glide down his back, catching it with a routine movement before it could fall on the ground. Placing it on one of the chairs near the window, Matt turned to his handsome playmate and smiled.

”Nice,”
He paused for a moment, his eyes wandering to the ceiling while he tapped his chin as if thinking.
”Ok, who am I kidding?! It’s incredible!”
His lips broadened to a grin when Contrast tilted his head, his hands stemmed against the hips as if wanting to give some sort of parental nagging speech.
”And you really asked me whether I wanted to stay all night… honestly, the nerve of you,”

Delicate fingers rose and descended again when he loosely placed his arms on the other’s shoulders, reducing the space between their forms to a minimum. A playful twinkle in his slate-gray eyes he caught Max’s look and held it for a second or two before looking around the place once more without drawing away, a thoughtful glance hitting the bed room, the photo-covered walls catching his interest enough to make him decide to have a closer look at it later.

”So…,
he began before he turned his head back to face the handsome other, his whole expression radiating seductive irony.
”where’s that legendary shower you were talking about?”

Re: The center of the clubbing district: 'Panacea' Hotel.
That is a beautiful siggy, nice pic of you Matt! Very seeexay! :D
Also, I stayed up all night and had an idea.. sorta, thinking over it still,
But I definitely wanted Matt to get a glimpse of James and such!
I'll go into more detail in my next post or something.

"Yes, tha-" There was a pause in Matt's words which caused Max to glance over at him, but smiled as it appeared Matt was just taking in the luxurious sights Max had long since gotten all too familiar with. "-nks,"

Quite often Max would keep any guest he had on a very short leash, taking them instantly to where he wanted, his bathroom or just the bed room, or in front of the fireplace. This was his world, even his parents had restrictions in this room, only allowed in the one area, his dinning room, and not permitted to venture into his bed room, even if they needed to use his bathroom. They had only been up here four or five times since Max was a kid, three of those times it had been with James, who had a room right down the hall, once leaving Max's door you can see it right at the end. Max refused to allow anyone other then one cleaning lady to have access to that room and it was kept exactly how James had left it. Even now the young Chadstone had a private spark of hope that his brother would return, after all, Max was getting older, he owned the building and nothing their parents said could stop James from being allowed to see Max here if he really wanted to. Sometimes there were painful thoughts that maybe, after taking into account the large space of time since they last saw each other, it could be possible James didn't want to see him.

But just like Amy, Matt had more allowence then most others, even if someone like Garnet came here Max would make her stay outside until he's turned all photo's on the mantle peice face down and made sure his bedroom walls were covered and then on top of that keep her in a single room for as long as possible, shadowing her every step. The reason that Matt was able to get so quickly into a position that took Amy about a year to achive herself was the fact that Matt already was part of Max's secret life, he was ON TOP of all other problems. As far as Max was concerned nothing ought to surprise the other now, nothing shamed Max more then what he was taking pleasure in doing with Contrast and that made all other things like James 'running away' seem so insignificate.

"This is so you!"

Seeing what Matt had commented and laughed about, Max grinned almost sheepishly and chuckled faintly, though his eyes were watching the smooth movement's as Max removed his coat. Right now a distracted thought kept him privately entertained as he wondered if Matt needed help removing that item of clothing.. along with all the rest.

"Nice,"

Yup, Max liked it here, his private sanctuary, far enough away from the school he knew no one would come knocking on his door to ask if he wanted to go out or do something, away from his parents, away from anyone bothersome, just him and his current playmate.

"Ok, who am I kidding?! It’s incredible!"

The carpet was incredible, so soft and gentle, there was that impulsive urge to pounce again, rip of all his clothing and pin him down against the expensive soft floor so Matt could see how wonderful it felt against bare skin.

"And you really asked me whether I wanted to stay all night… honestly, the nerve of you,"

The corner of his right lip tugged up a little more then the other side of his mouth as he half smiled, more focused on the close proximity between them.

"So…,"

At that point Max's hands lost their stubborn determination to remain by his side and had lifted a little before dropping again, Amy always told him not to rush into things, to try and enjoy the company a little before and after instead of focusing on the main interaction he looked forward to. Most of the time he neglected her advice, but when he has been with someone for a few times he took more notice of her adive, he didn't want them to think the only reason he interacted with them was for the sole purpose of sex, even if it was true.

"where’s that legendary shower you were talking about?"

A bright grin burst into life, the good thing about all this was that at least Matt seemed to not mind the fact Max was so single minded. Leading Matt fully into his bed room, as usual giving a paranoid glance around at the walls as they passed through. There was of course no way every photo was of him and James, some photo's were as recent as just a few months ago, Max put anything he found important or worth seeing up there.

The door to the spare room with all his stuff was crammed full of pictures of the two brothers, it's where the photo's started, but gradually turned into an out of control hobby that spanned across all the space on the walls. Max moved his draws and cupboards into the spare room just so the photo's weren't obscured by anything. When sitting on the bed, facing the wall that had the archway into the main room, bathroom to the left and spare room to the right. The photos were arranged in a chaotic order, since Max started with James on the door, his younger life, mostly home life and social gatherings, were located in that area around the spare room. The further away from that room and closer towards the bathroom, the more recent the pictures, with an occasion out of place photo here and there that he might have found laying around somewhere.

"Before you ask, I was fifteen, grounded, and confined here for two months with a broken leg and sprained wrist, I had a lot of time and nothing to do." Amy brought over photos for them to look at, he would have gone insane if Amy hadn't spent time with him, but back then she had a lot more clients. Recently Max started offering her jobs at the Panacea and putting money into her account, he'd always been envious when she split her attention with other guys but he never really understood why she did it, for a while he had been upset that she was getting older and still messing around with people who would abuse her and mistreat her just because they paid for her services. He didn't understand that she owed a lot of money to lowlives who 'took her in' when her parents died and she was homeless on the streets, they charged a phenomanal fee for their good deed however.

If someone sat down and asked Max about all the times he's ever been hurt, he'd probably mention 'grounding' a fair few times. Amy and Lara were the only ones outside the family and not living at the estate that knew what was really going on inside there. Lara was part of that group though and her motto was to stay out of other people's lives, even when it was someone as close to her as Max, she was too focused on herself and her own wants to bother worrying about others. And Amy didn't have the social position to point an accusing finger, she was a prostitute and someone like her could easily go missing if she stepped over any boundries.

The bathroom was, like the rest of the private room, splendid to say the least, large and spacious, it had more then just a shower, there was a large hot tub, the spa an impressive additional feature that was large enough for four people to comfortably sit apart. The floors had small white with faint grey smokey textures, the tiled walls had decorative patters engraved on the tiles that could only really be seen when light hit them in a certain way from a distance. From the entrance the spa was in the back corner to the left, the shower in the corner to the right, and beside them, on the wall with door they just entered in, was the mirror, sink and cupboard beneath the sink with draws down both sides. Another door lead to the toilet and laundry shoot where he drops his dirty clothes for others to clean and send back up to him.

"Toilet's in there," Max added in case Matt was curious where it was or what might be behind the closed door, the room slanted almost unnoticably downwards to the center of the room where a a drain was to collect stray water. When they entered Max closed the door, revealing another door, which he opened to expose towels, bath robes, both thick cotton ones and smooth silky ones, all sorts of different patterns, some female obviously, but they were kept to one side on the clothes rack. To the left, where the poll with clothes hanging off it were, Max shifted through them, but he couldn't find what he wanted so he turned around to the shelves and scanned over them. Confirming he did recive the clothes he left behind last time since they were sent to the wash, he then pulled the neatly folded pile and dropped them on the floor in the corner behind him under the hanging clothes.

"You can put whatever you want in here if you want," On the wall behind him was a pciture frame filled with magazine cuttings of his family, pictures of them with whatever was written as well. Beneath it was one of the intercoms scattered through his suite, about level with Max's chest since the picture was placed over the device. For now Max ignored it, stepping closer to Matt, a mischivious look sparkling in Max's innocent expression.

"First we'll order your food so it's here in time before the kitchen closes," Reaching out for the other, Max pulled him deeper into the small room (though still wide enough for Max and Matt to stand side by side with little discomfort), "Ask for whatever you feel like, if they don't have it they'll order it in," As he was speaking Max seemed to be manuvouring the other mutant so that his back was against the wall right beside the white panel. Seeming to say one thing, yet do another, Max pressed his body forward against Matt's. A sly little smirk and then a light kiss, his lips pressing a little more firmly against Matt's before pulling away with a teasing expression, appearing more playful then usual, his finger now pressing a red button and causing a faint buzzing noise.

"Ye-llo." The voice was overly cheerful and other voices could be heard in the background, most quietening down while the cook was on the com-line.

"Hey Chef, just seeing if you're still around," A few yells were heard, mainly the waitresses calling out greetings of hi's and hello's to Max. Meanwhile as he spoke Max's other hand was sneaking lower down Matt's front, playfully exploring. "My friend's hungry, he's going to give you his order now," Possessing an extremely cheeky grin on his face as Max spoke, keeping his eyes glued on Matt's, his fingers starting to undo the other mutants pants enough so that his hand could slip within. Max's finger relaxed a little too much on the button as he leaned forward and once again kissed his new companion, though considering Max's usual lifespan of his past playmates this was a relatively long relationship.

"Max? Sir you cut off," It was awfully common for Max to be doing a hundred other things all at once and he tended to leave people waiting while he got distracted.

"I'm here, sorry, I was.. just grabbing hold of my friend, he's thinking over what to order." Max made sure not to try too hard to please Matt, not wanting those on the otherside to realize what's happening, but at the same time taking sever enjoyment out of the possibly dangerous situation.

(OOC: Thankee!! :D
As for your idea, I’ll stay tuned ;) .. um… and as for the “command” *points at a line close to the end of the post* … it’s a common “rude joke” thingy here! *looks defensive* ohoh!! PLUS I’m a guy, that suffices as aponation *admires newly made-up word consisting of apology and explanation*
ANYWAY *shifty look* you can assume Matt went to bed if you wanna continue morningish… or have him still be looking at the photos if you want, your choice ^^ )

The bathroom as well didn’t fail to have an impact on the young man who had never before been confronted with such luxury. If Max really had been fifteen, maybe even younger, when getting this apartment, it didn’t surprise him any longer how demanding he was; how obviously used to getting what he wanted. Max didn’t actually seem to be spoiled… not in the classical sense of whining and nagging until he got his wishes fulfilled, no, he didn’t need to do that. People, and Matt included himself with an inwardly shown self-ironic smile while thinking about the issue, they gave everything to him willingly. Especially their bodies for obvious reasons – the youngest Chadstone had just striking arguments.

When the notorious school bully began to talk about food, Matt actually thought about what he would like before noticing that – contrary to his words – Max seemed to have other plans. Not that he would have minded; quite the contrary. Adjusting to the slightly surprising change of events, returning the smirk and preparing for… more than just a little kiss anyway.

*Yeah right, first turn me on and then talk to the chef,*
Pretending to be incensed and shocked upon such treatment, Matt stemmed once more the fists against his hips and glared at the other while he was cheerfully chatting with the kitchen staff.

"My friend's hungry, he's going to give you his order now,"
Once again adapting as well as possible, he started anew with his thoughts about food. Pizza maybe? Tuna? While considering the plus- and downsides of different dishes, he suddenly felt a shamelessly prying hand wondering over his pants, unbuttoning them… touching body parts that were not at all connected with food and thus distracted heavily.

"I'm here, sorry, I was.. just grabbing hold of my friend, he's thinking over what to order."
The naughty grin Max was wearing didn’t at all affect his voice, something Matt wasn’t at all certain would count for him. It was an evil choice the other confronted him with – in a way he was impressed by the sweet cruelty of it – and so while allowing him easier access by shifting his body a little, he glared at him even more - contradictive actions, yes, quite typical in fact.

”You bastard,”
the black-haired bisexual mouthed before closing his eyes to focus for a second. Clearing his throat and trying hard not to reveal what was really going on, he turned to the intercom and politely asked for maguro maki (tuna sushi). The good thing about them was that they could be eaten cold without loosing taste in any way. And they so would cool down!

”Thank you,”
he finished and interrupted the connection with an outstretched hand. Grabbing the other at the shirt, Matt pulled him closer, a threatening twinkle in the eyes.
”You!”
There was a dark “I’ll eat you alive” expression in his eyes when he stressed the word, yet it was obvious Matt wasn’t really angry but just playing, continuing what Max had started.
”Get down on your knees and blow for forgiveness!”

In the meadow of sinful thoughts, every flower’s a perfect one

Time passed, undefined, uncounted, unnoticed. There was a break before they had really started when the food arrived – Max answered the door wearing a bathrobe, pretending he had just finished showering because it had been a “dusty day”, the strange explanation sounding somewhat plausible the way he said it. After all, the billionaires’ child he was, playing tennis at dusty courts and similar strange things would be considered quite common, wouldn’t it?

The sushi was put aside when Max lured the other into his bedroom, the luxury of such a broad bed being reason enough for the light-elemental to follow the invitation. After having had his “revenge”, he was quite content with leaving most to the more muscular male’s initiative; it seemed obvious that Max was eager to try out things and so Matt let him.
Quite a good decision as he could state some time later.

It didn’t take long for Max to drift off into sleep. Having been far more active than Contrast, he certainly was tired, especially that late at night – or early in the morning depending on the point of view. Matt, however, was used to staying up long for different reasons, only really getting active when others got to bed and his whole day hadn’t actually been demanding. Silent footsteps carried him through the apartment to the sushi which he cheerfully munched away carrying the plate with him while examining the place. He didn’t open any drawers or closets but looked at the pictures at the walls, the photos in the three rooms one of which was Max’s bedroom being the last he investigated.

He looked happy being with those girls or the older boy all of which Matt had never seen before… why was it that he apparently had good friends outside the school but not really inside it – as far as he had noticed anyway – if especially those two girls weren’t of an age not to be found at Xavier’s? Suppressing a sigh, he found himself wishing to see the other like this more often. Outgoing in a happy and content way, not like what he had mostly seen of him in public. Those weren’t true feelings, were they? It rather seemed as if he was playing a role, as if he was constantly trying to prove to someone that… yes, what anyway?

The light, black bathrobe with plain silvery stitches whispering as he moved, Matt followed Max growing up over the years. Suddenly, the photos with the boy stopped leaving only those with the girls, a fact the contrasting mutant only realized after having looked at a few meters of “Jameslessness”, wondering what had changed. It was an odd detail, yet something he didn’t think about much. Friends you gain, friends you lose – it was a normal thing to happen and having no idea that this was in fact Max’s brother, he just shrugged and continued.

Re: The center of the clubbing district: 'Panacea' Hotel.
"You bastard,"

There was a cheeky yet proud look about Max, though he'd never heard of what the other was ordering before, Amy was the only one able to get Max to eat different types of foods he wasn't used to and he didn't see her as often as he used to. Though they'd usually cross paths at the hotel it was also too short for Max's liking and they never got to have as much fun as they used to without someone interrupting them.

"Thank you," Being grabbed and pulled towards Matt, who had an appealing devilish attitude in retaliation to the dirty trick Max had played before, scolding him with "You!" in a harsh yet playful manner.

"Get down on your knees and blow for forgiveness!"

It was still something Max was getting used to, the idea more then the actual action, at least now he understood why girls didn't like it when guys took hold of their head. They were trying to concentraite and please their companion, not offer him a chance to asphixiate them!

Even though it seemed later when the food arrived that Max might give Matt the chance to eat, letting the other glance over his meal and even giving Matt's dish a curious look over himself. But as usual Max's impulses ended up coaxing his companion onto his bed, taking delight in exploring and perfecting the new things he was learning.

By the end of their 'playtime' it was obvious Max tried to stay awake by starting small talk on the teams they had been assigned, wanting to know if Matt's team was any different to his own 'special' group. But it wasn't very far into the topic that Max had drifted off while Matt was talking, his arm stretched out over Matt's lower stomach while he lay on his side, leaning forward slightly towards his bedpartner.

By then, when Matt slipped out of bed towards the meal awaiting him, Max was oblivious to the sudden disappearence of his companion and remained quite motionless save for the silent breathing which causing his upper body to rise and fall very faintly.

As was common with Max, his room was dimmly lit by the moodlights that were scattered across his ceiling, enabling Matt to examine the mantle peice photo's in the main room without too much problem at all. One three of the photo's were with his parents at different ages, one he looked about seven, it was in his bedroom, he was laying on his bed, rolled on his back with his head over the edge so that the camera could see his grinning face. Lara was on top of him, her sparkling eyes neatly done up in make-up even at that young age, her blonde hair longer, down passed her shoulders but done up in a high pony-tail. A twelve year old Jame's sat on the ground, grinning at his little brother who was losing a tumbling match to a girl (though Max was convinced Lara had been cheating, you can't tickle in fights!). And their father, Steven, sat on the otherside of Max's head, a video camera in his hands, it looked as if he was talking with Max.

Another photo was of fifteen year old Max and Lara and eighteen year old Amy, her hair a vibrant chestnut brown and her eyes a sparkling diamond blue, similiar to Lara, Amy had her make-up nicely applied, making her look a little older then what she really was. They were all sitting down on stairs located in the entrance hall of Max's family estate, Max looking rather content as he layed back with two attractive girls snuggling against him and baring seducive looks towards the camera. Both had a hand on him, Amy had hers over his heart and Lara's was a little lower closer towards his stomach, Max's own arms mostly hidden beneath the girls except for his hands which were cut out of the photo since it was taken close enough to get their heads and their thighs. Enough to note that both girls were having their knees resting over Max, Amy had her knee quite promiscuously over Max's lap while Lara's was a little lower. The rest were of Max with his parents at social events that were a big deal for his dad, bright smiles each of them but not the same sparkle in his eyes like when he was younger.

Most of the other photo's were just of him and his father, the one that wasn't so serious like all the others he had was from his last birthday, his wrist was in a white cast, signalling it had been broken, though things were scribbled all over it. Despite everyone around him at the table, Max seemed rather isolated while sitting beside his dad, his back was against the older man, who was busy talking with some important looking business man beside him, half of which was cut out of the picture. Amy was sitting beside him on the bench (They were outside, the large pool could be seen in the background), the table obscured the lower parts of their bodies, but it was easy to see Amy's hand on Max's knee, resting gently ontop of his hurt hand, though it had gotten much better and they were removing the cast later that day. Max's own, slightly red, eyes stared at the cake in front of Amy, though he didn't seem to be paying any attention to the bundle of activity around him.

In his room, the photo's of Max and his brother were always playful and bright, Max was an energetic young kid so it was hard to get him upset and if he did get down his brother would find a way to lift his spirits. A few were from in the pool, half of which had Lara hovering closely around Max or all three of them play fighting. Some where photo's of just James and people he knew that Max didn't know well or at all, some photo's Jame's had silver hair, while others it was the same colour as Max's own. Amy's hair was altering colour in pictures, as well as her eyes, it was easy to see Amy and Lara were close to Max, but no photo had Amy and James, it was either Lara and James, or Lara and Amy.

At times there were photo's of Max kissing Lara and other times of him kissing Amy, or just holding them, but the posing was very 'couple'-ish. It was hard to tell if they were dating though since Max was the kind of guy that was highly flirtasious and a kiss didn't really mean he was dating them. Closer towards the bathroom door, there was a small collection of four photo's that were of Max in the large spa from the nearby bathroom. Some girls were with him, Lara, another girl called Hannah, who looked a lot like Amy only far more serious, and Amy herself, but with blonde streaks in her hair. A very typical Max scene of him in the center with three (apparently naked) woman cuddling against him, frothy bubbles making sure to keep them all well covered, Lara to his left, Hannah to his right, and Amy was sitting in front of him, leaning a little to the side to allow a glimpse of Max's upper body.

The ones mostly around the bathroom where basically all magazine photo's, but actual photo's he had gotten not paper cut outs. All of him usually on his own, in some pose or another, all extremely handsome since they did him up and trimmed his hair instead of the wild ruffled look it had a few months ago (Which could be seen in some of the older photo's with magazines that didn't bother grooming him). Some photo's were of him shirtless, his muscular body rubbed faintly with oils to give it a smooth shine in some of them, obviously it was some sort of health magazine (anything kinky would mean he'd be wearing far less).

Max had a computer which all these were stored on so he could just get new ones copied if he ever wanted the photo or if he did redecorating and had to take them off the wall. From the bed a shifting noise could be heard as well as a slight groan as if something was disturbing Max, his arm sliding lazily over the covers in search of the warmth of another body. When not finding anything his mind mind automatically assumed he had rolled over and someone was behind him, causing his other hand to move, only to find the edge of the bed. This summoned his instinctive reaction that always took place upon finding his bed empty, a sharp instake of breath as he lifted his head and forced himself awake. Glancing blurry eyed at where Matt had previously been laying, then to the other side of him, once again making sure they.. somehow.. didn't switch places.

A shadowy movement in the corner of his eye finally caught Max's drowzy attention, though he seemed more alert then relaxed by it, even if he did look as if keeping his eyes open was proving ehxaustingly difficult. It was only Matt, at least he was still around, there was a release of a deep breath as Max buried his face back into the pillow.

"Can you leave the lights on?" The muffled words were mumbled and almost immidiatly after Max had drifted off again, assuming Matt had only gotten up to turn off the lights. When sleeping it seemed a habit of Max's to have at least some sort of contact with his bedpartner, whether it be his hand, leg, shoulder, some part of his body always seemed in touch with the other sharing his bed. Some of the girls he's been with find it awkward, having a one night stand constantly cuddling them, as if he might not have understood that they had no intention of remaining with him, though most could quite readily be tempted to if he had shown more interest towards them when he woke up.

At ten o'clock a buzzing sound rang quite annoyingly through the room to signal breakfast was waiting outside Max's door, Max himself seemed able to ignore it completely as he snuggled closer to the warmth of Matt's body, his handsome face burying itself against the other's body and the bed so that he could block out the light of the room.

For most people the breakfast they serve here is more then enough, usually with leftovers, they had a selection of choices though since Max was the kind that picked at this and that during the morning while he was zoned out, never able to decide for an actual meal himself, if left to him he'd just sleep until lunch.

Re: The center of the clubbing district: 'Panacea' Hotel.
A sigh-like breath caused a smile to lighten up Matt’s features when he turned shortly to look at the other who had been so… totally different just a few hours ago. Again he was amazed how peaceful, how soft his features could be. Maybe it was the same with every sleeping person but then again, he had also seen people who looked bitter and scornful when resting, for him a sign that there was some truth to the story of everyone showing their true face in Morpheus’ embrace.

He had just turned around again to continue his way past the photographs when muffled words made him jump a little.
"Can you leave the lights on?"
Slightly panting, he turned again to find the reason for his shock contentedly asleep again. ”Sure…,” The silent reply may have been pointless, yet letting the question hang in the room, answerless, was something that would have felt weird to the nocturnal wanderer.

What he saw fitted very well in the image Max had – cuddling and kissing quite randomly as it seemed though he appeared to have some kind of ménage-à-trois with two girls in particular. Matt didn’t have any objections but didn’t care very much either. If all of those entangled were aware of what was going on, it was their business, not his. It helped getting an impression of the real Max though – or rather adding to what kind of picture he was piecing together.

The grin was almost the same no matter which occasion, be it official or private – yet when he was with those girls or the older boy, the smile reached his eyes indicating that it wasn’t just a meaningless gesture for the photographer or PR reasons but just that – real. He seemed to have known those three one of which suddenly disappeared later since early age and the fact that almost three rooms were covered with their picture spoke a clear language as well.

The posing photos were something that caught his interest even more though. There were people on which oil just looked slimy, so wannabe it was just ridiculously pathetic – even if the person in question had mountains of muscle mass which again made it appear even uglier in Matt’s mind. The line between “hot” and “urk” was thin and difficult to draw but when seeing it, the contrasting mutant could tell immediately what he liked… and for obvious reasons those pictures were part of it.

Returning to bed a part of him realized with a frown that the whole scenario was just so unreal, as if he had made it up for an RPG where he could get together with his dream guy. A strange feeling.

The buzzing he ignored, totally content with lazing around, dozing close to the one who actually owned the whole place. This as well was something he needed to somehow get a little used to, the thought that basically everyone working inside the hotel was Max’s subordinate. Half-asleep, Matt’s over-active imagination wondered whether the other had ever taken advantage of that position. He had seen some of the female employees throwing “the look” at their young boss… maybe all of them had done but the contrasting mutant had been too distracted by the place itself to notice everything. Max certainly wasn’t the type of guy who would force his will onto others but as Matt had realized earlier, he didn’t need to anyway. It was a cliché, wasn’t it? Yet he had the feeling that so wrong it was not.

Some time later, the black-haired boy left the warm comfort of the bed and Max’s touch to get to the food as his stomach demanded loudly enough for Matt to wonder whether it would make the other wake up. The variety was as impressive as everything the Panacea had to offer and delightfully content with the world, he sat down right on the floor tasting about everything, one by one, waiting for the infamous school bully that was so not acting his reputation to awake.

Re: The center of the clubbing district: 'Panacea' Hotel.
Gradually opening his eyes, groaning somewhat as he shut them once again and buried his face within the pillow, taking a moment before look around for the missing warmth of his bed partner’s presence. Lifting his head while laying on his stomach, his arms pushing him up a little so he could get a better look around. Why was he waking up without a companion beside him repeatedly? Reluctantly Max dragged himself out of bed, finding his way into the bathroom and grabbing black cotton underwear, slipping into the shorts in less then a graceful manner.

Dawdling steps carried him groggily towards the doorway between his room and the front room, the palm of his right hand rubbing his still blurry eyes, ruffled hair and dazed expression, definitely wasn’t a morning person. Hovering for a moment in the doorway, appearing to take some time to register Matt’s position and move towards him, he gave a louder groan as the mobile phone sitting on table by the door rang, forcing Max to grudgingly change course and progress over towards it. The form of greetings was merely a groan that had slightly turned into a grunt, shortly after he got a response from the other side he replied with a longer drawn out grumbling groan, that was usually his natural reply when either of his parents called to whine about each other or him, and to make things worse, they were both on the line using different phones. It was impossible for Max to hold a proper conversation for long when he just woke up, dealing with their petty arguments and demands to know what he thought and who’s side he chose was definitely not what he could handle in the morning.

“I don’t know, did he…?” Another irritated noise stirred in the back of Max’s throat “Fine, did you dad?” While waiting for a reply Max took in a deep breath which turned into a yawn, “Well, he says he didn’t mum,” A insipid expression crossed Max’s face, as if he wanted to say something but knew better and held his tongue, “That’s an idea, explain it to me.” Almost right away Max dropped the phone down on the table, but lightly enough for those on the other end not to be aware of his disappearance. Making his way into the bathroom to freshen up while his parents debated things over the phone, it wasn’t the first time he’s done that with someone else around, Paige had been amazed he actually treated his mother like that while she was talking with him. But why not? It’s not like they ever listened to anything he ever had to say, so in his mind, he could react to their problems the same way, it’s not like they ever had anything serious to say to him, they only ever wanted someone to pick their side, and Max always got caught in the middle.

The sound of his shower started up, but it only lasted a minute before he hopped out, only staying in long enough to wash his body, his fingers running quickly through his hair to get rid of the body gel bubbles that were in it. Taking another minute to dry himself, slip back into his underwear, and then still somewhat zoned out even after all that, but looking a little more awake in his eyes, Max moved back into the front room, running a towel through his short hair and causing it to both spike up and fizz out. Reaching out and picking up his phone carefully, Max gave a ‘Mmhmm..’ in the back of his throat while moving to slump down on the floor with Matt. It was easy for him to get away with what he was doing for the simple fact that his parents knew full well how he was in the mornings and if ever they did bring up the conversation again they’d usually expect Max not to remember half of it since he was normally asleep when they called this early.

Again Max dropped the phone away from his ear, but only because he was busying himself with more important matters like examining what the staff decided to give to him today. He felt like sweets, so he basically ignored the tiny plate of fruits entirely without giving it a single glance Max only nibbled at what he picked up, usually he can be seen eating as if he’d been on the streets and he had to consume as many tasty things as possible before it was all taken away from him, but mornings were a different matter, where everything was taken at a leisurely pace.

“Restaurant?” The puzzled tone of Max had a lingering drowsiness to it still, his parents blurting out more things and his mum telling him to pay more attention, “…I am paying attention, and dad has a point, both of you like the place, I’m sure he didn’t plan on crashing your date,” There was a few smug comments made by his father but Max hung up on then two who were still talking to each other over the phone, despite being in the same house. Tossing the phone over to couch across from the fireplace, Max then let his body collapse beside Matt, laying with his head next to the other mutant and his body stretched out away from him, Max’s arm moved to rest behind Matt so that his hand was at just touching the other.

“…Parents…” He groaned with his eyes closed, a moment later they opened though and looking up at Matt, a slightly mischievous look faintly seen, but decided not to pounce onto his playmate until Matt was done eating. “How long till you leave?” With an impish look still hovering in his eyes Max quickly added, “Can we go to the Dyingstar later?” The thrill of being with Matt was already diminishing, yet like with Amy there was a fondness that would always be there, even after a fight and disagreement a part of Max would still feel disappointed he’d lost any chance of being with the other again. Not having really planned any reasons on going out, Max thought maybe instead of merely having sex together they could get some drinks before hand, followed after by what he was hoping to be a long strenuous game of pleasurable actions that – if he was lucky – might hold a few new tricks for him to experience and learn.

Re: The center of the clubbing district: 'Panacea' Hotel.
Curious, firgreen eyes followed Max’s moves and steps in a way that could clearly be called amused. It was always funny for Matt to see people who were as dizzily disoriented as himself shortly after having woken up, especially if he was already beyond that state. Yet this wasn’t the only reason why he only flashed the other a broad smile and then rather focused on the food seeing Max’s action as some sort of TV program. This hotel’s breakfast was just amazing! If it really had been morning… in the actual sense of it, he would probably have surrendered to the variety after some minutes but since “noon” was more fitting the time, he was starving.

When the phone rang, a black-haired head was slowly, lazily turned to see his playmate’s reaction – a teasing grin on his features clearly saying “I can’t possibly answer that, can I?”. Whomever Max was talking with, they seemed to have developed a very special way of communicating… and for some odd reason all that growling woke the urge to pin the other to the ground and tame the animal in Contrast who smirked absent-mindedly at that thought while chewing one of the sweetest strawberries he had ever eaten in his life.

The sound of the shower pulled him back and out of his daydream and while Matt’s eyes flickered back and forth between the obviously still active phone connection and the bathroom door, a frown appeared on his face. A vague memory of having Max addressing the one on the phone as “dad” appeared from the back of his mind, timidly as if uncertain whether it was the truth it carried.

*Strange family…,* he thought but shrugged and decided to ignore it for then. Who was he to judge without even knowing the circumstances and backgrounds? Still Matt had not really taken the possibility that the idyllic Chadstone family life was nothing but a farce into consideration. There were occasional quarrels in every kind of relationship, nothing abnormal about that.

He returned to reality – while still cheerfully munching away what he got hold of in some kind of parallel dimension where there were himself, food and his thoughts - just in time to see Max interrupt the connection although there was seemingly still somebody talking. ”…Parents…” A reluctant nod came in reply. Some years had passed since Matt had been really close to his parents, he could just remember that they grown somewhat distance when his mutant powers had begun to show. In retrospective, he thought to recognize a certain rejection at them… but back then, he had interpreted it as jealousy. Maybe he just ring them up one of these days…? Or maybe not. A past life should remain gone, shouldn’t it? Maybe he was just being cowardly though.

“How long till you leave? Can we go to the Dyingstar later?”
He didn’t fail to notice the other’s slightly naughty expression… but for a moment, Matt was too stunned by Max’s appearance to answer. He definitely gained some points on the attraction scale with his hair wet with drops of water tracing glistering lines down his half-naked muscular body. He nodded weakly while, his head slightly tilted to the side, Matt’s gaze followed those paths of water. ”Sure… we can… go… tonight…,” the light-elemental slowly said without really thinking about his words although a mental note told him to go back to the Institute somewhere between the Max-semi-naked-looking-like-some-CK-model now and the going-with-the-pseudo-model-to-the-club later to catch up to the lessons he would miss that day.

”Hell, what did the devil get to make you that hot?”
The question was accompanied by a look that didn’t seem to bother asking “what about…?” but rather went right on to the “where?”. Still Matt left the decision whether or not he should just leave and they postponed their activities to the night to Max by allowing the look just to be a mere flicker so not to push the other. They did have a sex-based relationship, true… but he didn’t want to evoke the impression that he was just meeting Max for sensual pleasure and food. It was fate’s irony once again that their thoughts regarding that matter were so very similar.
