Character pics Please: Link me to yours?
Could people link to me picture of their characters? I mean only if you want to, it helps when I feel the urge to make siggies or banners and stuff if I have more then just my photos and a handful of others people who I have done siggies for in the past.
I wanted something a little different for the banner this time and I know it's a little odd compared to the normal ones but I was fiddling with a siggy for Lady trying to get her characters there and tried the style with a banner and I am in the mood for something simple. Still I'd love if I had more characters to play around with, of course try and make sure the pictures aren't small or fuzzy otherwise I can't use them! Try and refrain from comic pictures for characters as well, I don't mind if you use them but more people are using real life pics so that's what I'm tending to stick with in banners and cartoon/real life blends don't work well iin most cases.
Any help you guys can give will be great. It isn't life or death of course and you can feel free to ignore this, especially if you hardly care if your character is up on the banner or not or you don't have time to look for pics XD
Hope you're all ok with the banner, knowing me and my mood lately I may or may not cange it, if people really aren't fond of the style then I promise to throw something else up there before I leave. Also I'll leave the base of the banner (without any pictures and just the background) in case anyone wants to have some fun attempting making banners for the board. Anyone who adds a banner will have a week week of display time on the top of the board. Might as well reward anyone who bothers with an attempt.

I like ^^ (I think... lol). Def different but it's eye catching and does look more personal to the board in a lot of ways (and for Ann, the first Charrie I actually noticed was Michael lol).
As for links to pictures... you've got to be kidding You know what Rach is like... I've resorted to taking screen shots from the DVD just to try and find some decent pictures! I might be able to find some Hannah or Wes ones for you... but if I remember rightly, Wes is worse than Racheal.. heh. Ill come back and edit this though if I find any (I'll do it later.. because I'm at Uni and all my links are at home!).

I think the banner is great Angie but I always love the banner and no it's not just for the eyecandy or because it's nice to see Tessa and Jess up there *sees Jess get slightly less negative and sarcastic in the corner at unexpected attention* Stylewise though ya I like it. It's simple but I think it works and it's good to have that bit in the middle, the wording which is us in a nutshell so to speak so new players know what we're about before even reading the rules.
Wes you're using Wentworth Miller right Rebecca? I'm just reading the model/actor sheet but I don't actually know for sure if you're still using him or what. Did you want him with shaved head or slightly more hair?
He just got a fairly big US series, the starring role so it shouldn't be hard to find pictures of him. I know a site off the top of my head...

~I'm using photos of him from the movie "Nick of Time" specifically so yes I'm letting down the spunkiness in favour of a father with glasses

~Using pictures from a magazine shoot. Otherwise his hairstyle is different and/or his hair is dyed a horrible orangey-blonde like in North Shore. Pictures of him are fairly hard to find. There's one other in this style but I can't find it so I'll keep looking.

Thanks ^^ I'm planning on him having more hair.. I do have some pics saved somewhere... just need to find them. And actually get my self sorted so I look them up at sometime that isn't 1am! lol But I'll nosey through the link later.

I think the link is pretty good... fangirl sites usually are. He seems to be the it guy on TV to swoon about (last year it was the guys of lost, particularly Dom and Josh Holloway) so there should be plenty of pics popping up. I did come across some ones of him with hair too so they're on the site somewhere. Good choice on the hair, I like guys with more hair too *points at comparison between Elijah Wood and Chad Michael Murray pictures before and after shaved heads*
Lol just finished watching Dinotopia with Wentworth Miller in it. Apparently he doesn't always have to be monotoned and smirking and/or staring!

lol... Actually just looked properly at the site, and you right, lotsa good piccies! And I have to agree with the hair thing. It just doesn't suit some people (though admittedly some people actually manage to pull of at least looking good with it lol).
And part of the thing I love about his pics is the fact he doesn't really ever look overly happy in them (Wes may be a nice guy, but being basically kidnapped at the age of 12 by the government doesn't make for smilie people lol) . Actually.. dinotopia is how I found him... I was meant to be going for the film version of his character (I think.. I get a little confused) and came across him instead. So it's all good lol. And I'm babbling hehe.

Hmm I have to reread Wes' bio. I know I did read it or at least part of it at one point but I completely forget!
I actually don't mind Wentworth with less hair but that's because it's how I'm used to him I think. Other people I really don't like with less hair...like James Marsters. It was for a great cause but it was still sad to see him shed his hair.
Lol yah see I saw Dinotopia years ago and liked it enough to put something similar to the Skybacks into Arendor but it's been years since I saw it. Then I saw Joan of Arcadia and he was in the last few episodes basically as Joan's rival who is evil but I didn't make the connection. Prison Break pops up after that and still I didn't recognise him from either of the previous projects I had seen until I looked him up.
Do you guys get Prison Break or not yet? I'm guessing not yet since it took you awhile to get Lost but that's just me and my random bad guess. It's a really good show though, I'm getting into it (it took a few episodes but now I'm hooked) and it was the critic fav of this year much like Lost for last year *shamelessly plugs show*
Anyway he basically has two expressions on this show. The intense stare and the smirk so it was interesting rewatching Dinotopia and seeing him be a different character (especially since he had more expression in his voice).
Perfect for Wes indeed though, I've never seen the guy interviewed but he seems to play the intellectual lonerish serious guy who looks often depressed so plenty of pictures lol.
That's cool that you were going for the film version of him, I liked it rewatching it back and lol babbling is what we do remember? Sometimes you go for something and end up with something else even better though, it's pretty cool!
