Thanks Cliff! And thanks for the photo of your real beast. I used it for reference. Did you ever get the snooperscope to complete your real one?
Have to update the link now. Changed my whole homepage and e-mail. Damn you AT&T!!

Re: Check this out...hardware MG-15!
Sure, no prob!
I'm not sure of the scale to the real deal since the whole gun is scaled a bit larger.
The snooperscope is basically two reducer fittings for a shop vac put end to end (Home Depot). One end has a PVC extension with a sink tube washer on the end, the other end was chopped off and a curved section of a hard had added for the eyecup.
Other things added were some lenses from an old slide projector, a braided hose, and a scope rail on the bottom.
Pretty easy and it turned out pretty cool.

Re: Check this out...hardware MG-15!
Thanks for the details, Chris. Got 'em recorded
The scope is about 6 inches long, and about 1.5" in diameter (middle area). I have the eyecup, and a friend has actually bought the real scope. He says the next one he finds is mine....but I don't think he'll every find another one The one he has has no distinguishing marks...most have rubbed off
