City Park land - A Nightmare on the Doorway of Paradise
WILLOW

Her small body sprinted threw the air as her wings carried her towards the park, the green glow of her body as she flew made it easier for the vampires to track her. It's only been such a short time, and already death threatend her again, but why didn't she seem as frightend about the thought as she felt she should be?

With a final flap of her green leafy wings he falls gently to the ground with a silent thud, crouch low in the bushes in an attempt to stay out of sight.

Willow:"Now now little one...no need to be shy, we just want to talk with you."

The young vampire purred as she appeared in the clearing, her keen sight glared directly towards Kailia, the Fae knew she was seen and had to escape! Turning to flee, she's stopped by the dark figure of a large demon, his skin looking almost like red rock, although other then that, the fangs and bold head, he seemed rather human looking.

With a roar, his hot foul breath gashed towards Kailia who burst from the bushes as she tries to run away from him, now in the clearing with Willow, who was watching her with a smile that made her seem as if she was enjoying herself....enjoying watching the fae suffer..

Willow:"We just want to see your home little one, it's not polite not to invite us in for tea and cake."

Another demon appeared, his reptilian hide an eye swore as his snake like tongue flickers between his lips. Yet two appeared humanoid, though this thought didn't comfort her, his claws and drool didn't make one think of him as anything but a monster..

Kailia:"I wont open the gateway."

She bravely told the giant (in her mind anyway) vampire, two more vampires appeared by her side and Willow gave a cocky smile.

Willow:"But you don't need to open it for us, you're just the key, all we need to do it destroy you and it opens, fun all 'round...well...'side from you, but you get to die again, that's always a freeing experience."

It almost sounded as if the vampire was trying to show her the positive side of death....But no matter what Kailia thought, she couldn't go back there, she couldn't rest if she knew the Gathering would be in danger...she had to hold on, to escape some how. She gave a fearful flick of her tail as the two demons loomed over her, how can she get away from all these demons? ..If she died would they bring her back again? Why couldn't they just let her rest in peace...why did she have to come back to just die so soon after..

MARK

Upon entering the park, the first thing that caught Marks attention was the figure who layed motionless on the grass in the open. He run over to the body, unable to turn her over to clearly see the face.

Mark:"Rayne! ...I think....I think we're too late.."

He called out to her as he examined the visible part of the girls face that wasn't covered in her hair, he was pretty sure she was the potential they where sent to meet up with..

Matk:"Damit...they knew we where meeting her here...she's been dead for a while, over 2 hours I figure and there's no signs of a struggle in this area."

He looked around, the ground didn't seem like a demon or a slayer had been fighting over it, it didn't look at all disturbed and there weren't any deep impressions which you'd expect since the soil here was soft.

His attention was soon distracted as he looked off towards the center of the park.

Mark:"..Willow's here."

He whispered as he warned the mutant of the vampire witch's presense.

Mark:"There's....a soul, she's chasing someone!"

The ghost run ahead, wanting desperatly to teleport there yet knowing if he did that then Rayne wouldn't be able to follow, and there was no way he could handle Willow on his own.

But as soon as he run threw a group of bushes, he appeared on the other side as a witness to the group of demons gathering around a small faerie. With out stopping to think, Mark rushed out and was able to tackle one of the demons to the ground, the first sign the boy ever gave of being solid.

He struggled to his feet and watched with an amused grin as the demon tries to punch Mark, only to have his arm go right threw the body.

Mark:"Back of pal, before I hurt you.."

He warned in a threatendly dangerous tone..although in all honestly Mark didn't think he'd really be able to hurt the demon, his hide was far to think for a simple punch to be effective. But either way the demon coward backwards unsure of what to do, the small faerie quickly moved behind the spirit boy as he confronted Willow.

Mark:"5 against a little one? Now that's not very fair Will."

Willow:"I thought it was...get her."

The two vampires lunged forward, one dives right threw the boy in an attempt to grab hold of the fae, the other one seemed to try and grab onto Mark as if it hadn't realized he was a ghost. A clean punch in the nose sent the vampire backwards to the ground, but he was caught more by suprise then being over powered.

RAYNE

"Mark!" Rayne cried in alarm and she ran headfirst into the fray.

Remembering her training, the training Prometheus had given to her Rayne focused her energy, her emotions and her hatred for vampires towards Willow.

The result was a small lightning bolt that struck harmlessly ten metres off target.

Rayne concentrated again and this time the sound of thunder clapped, something she hoped would distract Willow. Rain was falling now, this wasn't something she had controlled but she had been named for it and the rain didn't bother her anymore. In fact she wasn't even cold.

Rayne drew on everything she had and another lightning bolt cracked in the air, this one very close to Willow. It was so close and she so much further away that it may have actually hit the Vampire Witch's shoulder. That much Rayne couldn't tell from her distance.

WILLOW & JENNIFER & MARK

The small faerie gave a frightened scream as the bolt of thunder struck down the Vampire Witch, who fell to the ground with a shriek of pain.

Mark:"Willow!"

But Mark paused...it was so easy for him to forget she was the big bad now, he struggled to remind himself of that and returned to protecting the small faerie.

Looking around to see where the small creature had run off to, he was horrified to see one of the vampires had grabbed hold of her. Rushing towards him, Mark reached out and grabbed the dark creature from behind, pulling it off her. Spinning around the vampire went to punch Mark only to have something hit him from hind, a ball of white light slamming into him and causing the monster to be engulfed by light.

The ghost boy spun about to see where it came from yet there was no sign of who might have done it, he looked back towards the faerie but she appeared to be searching the skies for something. He followed her gaze and was amazed to see 3 balls of light shooting about like large fireflies.

Mark:"Rayne!"

He yelled pointing up at them as the remaining vampire attempted to tackle Mark, only to fly right threw his hollow body. Mark was perhaps one of the longest members of Rogue's Gang, and he had been beaten up by vamps many many times...if there was one thing about his ghostly situation, it was the fact they couldn't harm him...unless they where like Willow and knew spells..

Kailia:"Look out!"

The small creature cried as one of the balls of light zoomed towards marks position, after seeing that vampire disappear, one would assume that those lights where fatal! But the faerie wasn't afraid of death, perhaps she secretly wanted it again, what ever the reason, be it her wish to die or her desire to save his life, the small creature dived in the way, allowing herself to get consumed by it's light and disappear.

Meanwhile Rogue had only just entered the park, already knelling by the cold body of the dead potential, full aware that her death was hours old and there was nothing she could have done to save her....yet all the same blaming herself for losing another one.

A scream was heard, the sound of thunder slamming into the ground nearby causing the slayer to stand upright suddenly with inhuman speed.

Rogue:"...Rayne!"

Taking off ahead of Sean and Cat, the slayer emerged into the scene just in time to witness the apparent death of a small winged creature.

Rogue:"Guys!"

She yelled, but if her yell where heard, she couldn't be sure, because just as Sean and Cat arrived by her side, the last two energies of light slammed against the remaining two, their bodies, like the others, completely being engulfed with the light before disappearing.

The slayer stared at where they where last seen, she stopped breathing, her body froze, it took ever ounce of will power she could muster to take a few steps forward.

Rogue:"..Mark?"

There was a cough, a whimper just off to the side from where they where standing, it was quiet, but loud enough to instantly catch the slayers attention. Willow was painfully examining her burned shoulder.

Rogue:"...What.....what did you do?"

The teary eyed vampire looked up at the three, slowly pulling herself to her feet as she attempted to regain her posture.

Willow:"I-I-"

She stuttered nervously as Rogue stalked towards her, but the vampire quickly retreated a few steps.

Willow:"Nothing! I'd never hurt him Jennifer!"

Rogue:"Don't call me that! Where are they!?"

Willow:"Fine! I don't know!"

To anyone who'd been part of the high school social life and seen two best friends fight...this is exactly what it would have appeared was happening, ignoring the fact one of the friends seemed to have fangs in this scenario.

Rogue:"If you've hurt him.."

Willow:"Hello!? Can't exactly do magic spells while knocked out on the ground, now can I?"

Rogue:"Good point!"

With that, the slayer punched the female vampire across the face, angrily, Willow placed her hand on her cheek as if Rogue had just slapped her.

Willow:"..Ow! Hey! I gave you that book! AND I got Spike off your back! AND not to mention when Drusilla tried to kill off Markie, I was the one who convinced her not too! Or have we forgotten that because some of your friends have gone poof !?

Rogue:"POOF!? Willow I swear-"

Willow:"We had a deal!"

Rogue:"Not any more!"

Willow:"I didn't do anything!"

Rogue:"Well maybe that's the problem."

As the two argued between each other, the remaining vampire struggled to his feet, glancing over at the demons that seemed hesitant to fight now that the slayer had arrived. With a grunt at their show of cowardice, the vampire moved towards the two humans, slowly giving the two demons the courage to continue the fight, as all three began to surround Sean and Cat.

TBC: Mark, Rayne and Kailia - Other Board

CATHERINE

Cat stared at the body before her and suddenly she wasn't there in the park, but she was back at the fun fair. The guard was trying to pull her back and shield her from the scene infront of her. She could smell the burning as the back car burst into flames, she could hear the sounds of screaming, she was sobbing, tearing at his arm which was tight around her dragging her backwards. People were looking at her, it was probably where she had her dislike of crowds of people staring at her as they had done when she had first entered Xaviers school.

His hand slipped off her eyes and she could see someone lifting her mothers limp body from the car, they turned around to lay her on the floor and Cat could see that her face was missing, just a bloodied mess. Her eyes smashed back into her head, her nose gone, smooth skin just a gaping bleeding hole in her face.

And she was screaming, the most awful, nauseating, horrifying sound she had ever heard was coming from her own lips. The man lifted her up forcefully and carried her away, tears running down her face. She had woken up, screaming like that before now, it was only when she saw her mother in her dreams that she could chock back the scream like the way she had earlier. But luckily she only had those dreams when she was unhappy during the day, she was afraid she would dream of her mother next time she slept.

It was about then she went off the rails, passed from boarding house to boarding house, from house to house, never spending more than a couple of weeks in one at a time. Her file contained several angry letters from fosters in which the words "disobedient, stroppy and taxing" were widly to be found. And there was one statement that referred in so many words to her being a child of Satan from a strict Christian family. But as time had passed so the images had faded though she was still prone to waking in the night.

Cat blinked, someone was dragging her along, away from the corpse. She blinked again, seeing the guards face for a second but it faded to be replaced by Sean's worried face as he half pulled her half carried her away. She realized she was blinking back tears, she looked away pulling herself together.

She stood close to him, comforted by his presence while she watched Rouge, trying to clear her head of the image of that dead girl and her own parents. She flinched as she realized that they were surrounded by three demons, Rouge didn't seem to have noticed, her whole attention was focused upon the vampire infront of her.

Cat stumbled back into Sean as one of the demons approached closer. Her heart beating harder in her chest at the sight of his yellow skin. She might have a large mouth on occasions but she wasn't one to openly fight anything, like most people she only struck out when she felt herself to be in danger.

'Sean' She said her voice scared, as she looked at the vampire.

SEAN

"Cat quick, use some of that street knowledge you have and your powers, we can take them! I need you to take one!"

With that Sean ran at the Vampire, his distorted features and piercing eyes fixed on Sean. Sean raised a hand and felt what was around him, he forced his powers into his palm and from it came a pwerful wave of telekinetic energy. The force, visable only by a slight ripple in the air, smacked into the body of the Vampire, his form being thrown across the park and into a large tree that shadowed their fighting area.

The Vampire lept straight back up, shaking off the feeling he got from slamming into the tree. His piercing eyes returned to Sean and the vicious Demon began to charge at Sean. Sean lept to the side but the monster compensated and the next thing Sean felt was she Vampires foot in his stomach, his body being thrown over and knocking into someone else, knocking them down. Sean crawled up from the ground in time to see a fist wack him back down.

Rage seathed through Sean's veins, empowering him to turn and face the vampire, his eyes glowed orange, which had never been seen before due to his visor, and he grabbed the Vampire with his mind. The creature suddenly frove, his fangs bared ready to sink into Sean's flesh. But there was no chance of that happening now. Blood trickeled from Seans split lip and he rose from the ground, eyes fixed on the Vampire. It roared at him just before Sean forced the beast away with his powers, the Vampire went flying through the air and hit another tree behind him, he landed straight on a broken branch. The wood could be seen in the centre of the Vampires chest for an instant before he was transformed into ash, his form draining away.

Sean pivoted to see Cat. "Cat, you ok?" he shouted.....

CATHERINE

She didn't want to fight but she knew she had no choice, she couldn't leave Sean to defend her, she didn't want him to. She backed off slightly as the demon approached her, it's eyes shining in the dark. Fear flooded through her flowed through her in a cold wave followed by a surge of red hot adrenalin and anger that this creature would want to hurt her for no reason. The creature gave a slight snarl obviously thinking from her behavior that she was one of those girls who ran screaming when they were attacked.

Cat saw the demon move quickly towards her, felt everything slowing down again, his clawed hand reached out and closed on thin air at the same time he felt something hard connect with his lower stomach. It was the toe of a very solid, stone colored cat boot, she lowered her foot as he stumbled backwards, her face angry, feeling anger seething through her as she balled her fists up.

He shook off the blow and advanced again his face taking on an angry expression. She moved back suprised he hadn't been crippled in pain by the kick. These demons must be different to humans she decided, dodging sideways as he leapt at her, her heel knocked against a stone hidden in the ground, loosing her balance she fell backwards her body hitting the floor with a blow that knocked the breath from her body for a second.

She looked up, the demon was standing over her, her eyes met his. He raised his foot to stamp down on her unprotected body and in a flash she heard the words of her self defense tutor in her ear. The unimaginable has happened ... you are down ... and as most people are cowards they will try to kick you A furious storm of anger flowed through her body, he was standing on one foot as she knew he would have to and, she swung one foot upwards in an arc, catching him behind his knee, swiping his foot from under him. At the same time she saw Sean stumble backwards into the demon, the combined force of the two sending the demon sprawling to the ground.

It gave her the extra second she needed to scramble to her feet as the demon rolled to his. Cat's face was furious, her eyes blazing angrily as she faced him, her fingernails were digging into her skin she had her hands clenched that hard but she didn't care. She just wanted to hurt his demon, to protect herself and her friends.

It was her turn to attack, she wished she were dressed properly, her combats hampered her movements and if she knew there was going to be trouble she had several heavy gold rings she could put upon her right hand, she would then bind them in black strips. It just evened up the odds if she was fighting men she rationised, they could knock her out with one blow so she needed some weapon. She leapt forwards quickly turning her fist as she lashed out, smashing her fist home into the creatures face, following it up with her left hand though the impact was weaker. She didn't give him time to respond her agility speeding up her movements, she drew back her right hand and caught him a blow to him temple. The creature crumpled to the floor stunned for the time being.

She stepped backwards, the anger in her eyes fading, time speeding up again around her. She heard Sean call her name and looked around, keeping half an eyes on the nearby demon. She rubbed her hand, ignoring a dull throbbing pain in the region of her knuckles.

'Yeah I'm ok.' She called back, making her way towards him, she couldn't help feeling a certain degree of proudness that she had taken out a demon, it might only have been one but to her it meant allot. It meant that she didn't need to depend on anyone else in this world, she could look after her self, against a demon anyway.

'You alright Sean?' She asked her voice concerned. 'You lips bleeding.'

JENNIFER

The argument went on to a point that Rogue almost completely forgot about Sean and Cat, the two supernaturally powered entities struggled to force the other to the ground. With Willow's hands tightly gripping Rogue's neck, the slayer gave a gasp, her eyes turning a pale yellow for a moment as she considered giving into her other half. But then with a fury of anger, she stubbonly refused to allow herself to do so, showing her body forward and throwing the vampire witch off of her.

With a caugh, the Slayer moved forward, only to hear the voices of Sean and Cat behind her, with a shocked twist of her body, the Slayer turned to make sure they where alright. But they where more then alright, Rogue had just managed to witness the girl take down one the demons.

Before she could voice her suprise and remark, the Slayer hears Willow mumbling a few words under breath, returning her attentions to the vampire just in time to see a blast of dark energy slam agaisnt her. With a yell, the slayerwas thrown a few meters back before landing hard on the ground, skidding for a moment until she came to a stop.

Willow:"There was a reason you made the deal with me Jennifer, it's because I'm stronger then you!"

The red haired vampire glared as she painfully continued holding onto her shoulder. Getting back to her feet, the Slayer was helpess to stop the vampire from running off threw the bushes.

Rogue:"That wasn't the reason!"

She screamed back angrily, before quietly composing herself and dusting off the dirt. Slowly she turned around, moving off towards the apartments, which where in the direction Sean and Cat where standing. With a small limp the which the slayer tried to conceal, she moved towards them.

Rogue:"Would you believe last year around this time we where most likely baking chocolate cookies together?"

She mumbled as she moved past them, doing the only thing she could to stop the pain of losing Mark, she tried to pretend it matter. It's the only way she could hold herself together, it's the only way she survived the death of her mother and baby sister, the only she can accept seeing Willow like that, it's the only way she can continue living...by pretending nothing even matters.

But she couldn't hide the fact that it hurt, not for ever, flashes of images flowed threw her mind as she slightly limped ahead of the mutants. She had to hurry ahead of them, she couldn't allow them to see the tears swelling in her eyes.

She could almost hear the baby crying, Rogue knew it was only her imagination, she had convinced herself that she was glade the baby died. Would she have wanted a little sister in a chaotic world like this? Most of her life spent in the shadows and worrying over how long her older sister had to live? But if Darla, the vampire who sired Angelus and the one responsible for the death of her little baby sister, was under the impression that Jennifer would stop slaying vampires, then she was gravely wrong. Because if anything, that drove her to kill more, to become the slayer she was today, sometimes pain made us stronger.....but it is also able to crush us, and Rogue wasn't doing to let that happen to her.

Blinking back the tears from her eyes, the slayer called back, not brave enough to turn about and look for herself.

Rogue:"You two alright?"

CATHERINE

Cat was busy dusting herself down now she realized Sean wasn't going to collapse into a twitching ball at her feet. She tried to look like she hadn't shown any concern about him, she was going soft on these mutants, she decided walling up her sympathy for him.

She looked at Rouge's back, the young woman was limping slightly, her voice strangely high pitched. Perhaps they could convince Rouge to come back with them, she shouldn't have to live here like this, with these creatures.

'Yeah.' She called, she wanted to say something else to the girl, anything but she didn't know what so she kept her mouth closed. Looking after the girl with a rather dejected expression upon her face.

'Come on.' She said to Sean, rather more roughly than she had intended. She hoped Rouge had something to eat, she wondered how long ago it had been since she had eaten. Many hours, of that she was sure, she glanced down at her watch, it had stopped all three of the hands pointing towards the twelve odd she thought, but perhaps it was something to do with coming here. She remembered stopping at a Mc donalds on her way to Xaviers, it had only been a drive though, Roger wouldn't let her out of the car as if he was worried she would escape and run wild wrecking the place.

SEAN

Sean wiped the blood from his lower lip, stinging slightly at the touch. His eyes had returned to their regular dark hazel, the bright orange glow that had eminated from the circumferance of his eyes had disappeared and he looked up at the two women ahead of him with his deep eyes. He looked at Cat for an instant when she seemed to order him before returning his gaze to Rogue and her injured leg;

"I'm fine, but you sure don't look it. That leg looks bad, we should get you back to ur flat and there we can fix that up and you can explain what all this is about. It seems you know more stuff than we thought Slayer." Sean talked but kept a constant vigil incase any other demons or creature lept at them from their hiding places, he saw that Cat seemed to be doing the same, this place made Sean very wary.....

CATHERINE

Moodily she kicked out sourly at a stone, watching as it rattled away over the pavement, looking down at her well worn cat boots as she did so. Wondering exactly how long she had had them, and where she had acquired them.

Her face took on a slightly vague and distant look as she strained back her memory.

It had been on her shopping excursion with Anne, the one and only shopping trip she had taken with Anne. To one of the giant shopping malls outside Washington, she had taken her credit card from her tacky fake snake skin bag, she was still ticked off by the whole clothes rebellion thing Cat had going.

She had waggled the card under Cats nose and waved her arm around the mall.

You'd better be grateful Cat, we don't have the money for shopping everyday of the week Her voice low so noone else could hear her. The mall was the kind of place the the middle classes shopped and Anne wouldn't have anyone think differently. She painfully tried to convince everyone that she was middle class by trying to copy what people said and wore but since they didn't have the money the result was a painful failure. She would have looked better if she had just worn jeans and a top but she felt the need for dark glasses and cheap imitations.

Cat turned away mumbling something about if she stopped smoking and gambling they wouldn't have to worry so much about money but Anne didn't hear her.

They had been on their way back towards the car when she had seen them, in the window of a shoe shop. Like a feline drawn to cat nip she was over at the window in a second, her nose almost against the glass. She hadn't thought Anne would agree but to admit in a crowded hall of people they couldn't afford them was more painful in her mind than to indulge Cat.

Back in the present Cat looked back down at the tips of her boots wondering where she would get the money to buy new ones which she sorely needed. She had only brought her boots with her, infact apart from them she only had a rather motheaten pair of trainers somewhere back at home under her bed.

It hit her for the first time that she was all alone, for the first time in her life she had noone to watch out for her. How was she supposed to buy things, how could she stay at Xaviers? She could afford to, as far as she knew she had a little money had parents had put in a trust for her but she couldn't have access to that till she was twenty one, but even that was only a small amount. The house in Ambleside had been sold to cover the costs of her being in homes and the ensuing damage she caused.

Her footfalls were slightly heavier, she would have given anything to be back there now, wondering how the others were, and if her things were alright, most of her worldly possessions were in that holdall, if anything happened to Fred someone was going to pay. She wondered if anyone at Xaviers was trying to come and find them, if they were they were taking their damn time about it.

She kept her thoughts to herself as she made her way back to the apartment, looking up once at the slayers back. Wondering what exactly was going to happen to her once she got back, even if she could stay at the institute she would just get into trouble again.

She would have to leave, she always had to leave, she was always on the move, since she was only just forteen all she had known was that every few weeks she had to leave her home and move to somewhere else. Somewhere with strange kids who stared at her as she clutched the straps of her holdall in a tight grip, eyes large as she surveyed her new environment.

Then Roger and Anne had taken her, and though she had had to leave the country they had stuck with her and for the first time in a year and a half she could settle down somewhere and just as she began to relax they ripped her out from her Washington home to dump her at Xaviers. She didn't suppose that once they got back that she would get to stay there. She didn't didn't see the point in making friends when she would be leaving them so soon.

What was she thinking she wanted to leave, she didn't want to stay at Xaviers. A sudden idea sprang into her head, she could phone her gran, biologically they weren't related, her daughter was Anne who she seemed to despise with vengence. Her relationship with Roger was equally as volitle, he was often to be caught muttering that the sooner she dies the better so they could inheirt the deeds to the house she lived in.

That house had to be Cats favourite place in the world, it was huge and old, full of dark pokey corners and her gran lived there all alone. The grounds were large and rambling and the place would be worth a fortune if it were in good condition. However it was in sore need of some DIY but Cat loved it all the more for that.

Anne and Rogers relationship with Cat's gran might be strained at the best of times but she and Cat got on like a house on fire. She hadn't much liked the stoppy teenager when she first saw her and sent her off into the garden to pune the large rose bush in the middle of the garden, much to Cat's anger and fury . She had come out several hours later to find Cat had indeed pruned the roses .... to about three inches off the stump. Luckily for Cat she had seen the funny side, seeing a certain indepentant spirit in Cat that she had in herself. And that was that the two were as thick as theives after that, indeed they both had a wicked side which revelled in playing pranks at the large family gatherings held there and in torturing the maid her gran employed. The great thing was that she wasn't that old, Anne and Roger were only in their mid twentys and their mother was just past fifty, which meant she had years left in her.

JENNIFER

"I'm fine, but you sure don't look it. That leg looks bad, we should get you back to your flat and there we can fix that up and you can explain what all this is about. It seems you know more stuff than we thought Slayer."

After Sean said that, she spun around to face him, the words he spoke twisting in her guilty mind as if he had just accused her of dragging them into this hell hole on perpose.

Rogue:"Of course I know more then you realize, I'm the Slayer, it's the life of a chosen one, you're born, you train, family get's killed, you train more, world get's destroyed, train more, friends get killed, train more. Well, I got tired of training, I got tired of fighting, I just wanted to end it, and if that pulled you from your little paradise, then I'm sorry."

Pausing for a moment as she collected her thoughts to try and calm down.

Rogue:"But my mission is all that matters, you think just because you're from another world that saves you from the slayers curse? Wrong. I had a job to do, and if I have to pull a hundred more of you out to finish it off, I will."

She turned around and began walking away, her limp hurting more now since she was forcing herself to walk faster then her body was ready to at this time.

Rogue:"How the hell was I supposed to know he'd run off to another world!"

TBC: The Gypsy Curse has Cursed us all.

SEAN

And as the action unfolded and the people dispersed to their own safe positions the dark figure of Matt Rosenberg watched from a distant position. He wishedhe could help them but it would not be safe for to reveal himself yet, especially to Willow........

WILLOW

As Willow managed to flee the scene, the young vampire took a quick peek back to make sure no one was following, looks like she hurt the Slayer....Spike's going to yell at her when he finds out..

Well she was just defending herself! How on earth Willow allowed Spike to convince her to help the Slayer with the spell of returning Angel's soul was a total mystery to her right now.

But the vampire witch didn't allow her thoughts to keep her here any longer, her shoulder was injured and last thing she wanted was running into any creatures that might take this chance of a weakened state to try and capture her.

Her demonic features disappeared and her replaced with her sweeter looking human form. Creeping threw the shadows of the park, she emerged a little later on the other side, hurry across the deserted road and making her way down the empty streets of the city.

TBC - They actually have a street called Memory Lane!
