Civil War of the ezBoard LotR RPG's
War of the Communities
In the early days of the Third Year of the ezBoard Free Form LotR RPG's(ME time account) there were The One Ring, Middle Earth, Realms of Middle Earth, Walking Through Middle Earth and many other, lesser lands, scarse with both Player quality and Player quantity. The Four Great Ones mentioned above leaved in peace, until the Council of WtME broke the long peace with complaints about their dictator Danielle, also known as XxFrodo BagginsxX. This resulted in the dissolving of WtME as most knew the place, and Danielle revealed the whereabouts of an RPG long in the making, made to be WtME, only updated and perfected. And, of course, she would be the unquestioned leader. In splendour it was now lesser than it's main rival, RoME led by Lucy, or XxGaladriel of the NoldorxX, but members and players rolled in. The leader of Middle Earth RPG, Nova6, and one of his most trusted generals and administrators, Aryndil Ciryatan, joined the board. The peace would soon break again, however, and the tension rose.
The dictator of the new RPG known as the Broken Sword formed new and old rules as she saw fit, spread misinformation and corrupted the peaceful spirit of the board. It was dread times indeed. It was suddenly announced, that Lucy, the Lady Galady, had quit Dani's board in anger. It sweemed serious, but it would be much worse. Faith, it seems, made it so that Nova6 and Aryndil Cir. met over AIM, and they found that they both disliked the way the Lady Danielle ruled her board. The disliking soon grew to a feeling of mixed anticipation, hate and repulsiveness, spreading through the members, Important members, like King Foromir and And The Pale Rider Was Death(Who had over 1800 posts on gloal account). Later that evening, it was discovered by Aryndil that Lucy had taken the long step to banning Danielle from RoME. Open war was at large, it seemed, and it's most important gatherer of intelligence, Aryndil Ciryatan, arranged a meeting with the Galady. They invited Nova6, and in hot discussion they decided to move to diplomacy to stop Danielle from wielding such madness against innocent Roleplayers.
Diplomacy failed because the dictator ignored her advisors and moderators(One which was Aryndil), and her administrator, Nova6. A secret meeting on a board, hidden, only to be found by searching for "Fishtank" on forumfind.com. The members rebelling met there and discussed. They voted in an ezPoll if to leave silently in protest or to attack The Dark Lady Dani and her troops on their own ground. Some had doouble accounts, and unluckily this resulted in acknowledged Civil War. By using tricks such as infiltration by her most trusted admin Nova6 who gained her trust again, they had all the advantages, plus new joiners in secret plotting the overthrow of Danielle's regime. Recruits from the One Ring RPG and Middle Earth RPG, and, of course, the lands of Lucy, A.K.A Lady Galady, The Realms of Middle Earth, disputes raised and speedy55 betrayed her and told Dani about the plans. With it followed a list of all participating in the war.
She then ran assassination attempts on many of the Rebel Leaders, including Nova6, her admin, and her moderator Aryndil. Both survived, and a few others, but many died before intelligence confirmed their suspicions: She knew! They gathered for Battle Planning in the Fishtank Forum, finding speedy55 there with all the faithful armies of tBS. The figured they were betrayed, but took the chance they got and charged head-on against the Hordes of the Broken Sword.Blue banners with the Broken Blade shining in the sun versus the gold of Middle Earth RPG with the sword and the shield, Dark Blue of the One Ring and the newly formed RPG of the Northern Kingdom of Arnor with their black and red banners with the White Tree, Seven Stars and the Crown of Elendil. The clash was majestic; hundreds of players spamming and flaming at wild, distant screams of pain and "OMFG", and a mocking shout of "LOL I'll pwn you good!". The rebels were loosing, the numbers of banned and kicked players were over half the original soldier count.
It was in that dark moment the saviour of all the remainders' lives appeared: XxGaladriel of the NoldorxX, Lucy, Galady, with the beautiful green banners of the Realms of Middle Earth. In triumph they fought on, and at last the Dark Lady was overthrown, the chatroom destroyed, tBS ripped apart limb by limb by the admins and mods. At last, after months of warfare in the forums, and half the players banned, a new life ensued, in peace and prosperity! Such ends the story of the Civil War of the Boards.
