Class intrest
We made the numbers , but only becuase they rounded to the larger number. D S/R is cool but C S/R is cooler. you talk about bang for the buck. We've got to let people know.C S/R 's are faster (straight line) than Atlantic, way cheaper than Atlantic,Continental,GT-1,2,3,Maybe 4,T-1 ,T-2 ,AS,& some production classes. They are safer than any open wheel car.You can do or try about anything you want,to the cars . What's the problem? Lets get out there run some races, have fun,try to get to the Run-offs,And promote our class to everyone.Do you know anyone getting into racing? Looking for a new car? Switching classes? Lets get-um interested!!!!!!!! These things will be even cooler when there's more of them!

FC - CSR Conversion
Ben,
I'm in the middle of VD RF96 - CSR Hayabusa conversion. What is there available for rear diffs / spools? I hear Beasley sells one. What type? How much? Need it in LD200 width with VD type tripod CV's.

Have considered the Quaife by Taggert/Taylor - but that is too expensive. Am considering machining aluminum plates with bearings / stub axles - but may be too hard.

Helping
I'll crew for anyone needing help in the midwest.

I'm through driving, but to help the numbers I'm willing to let my RT5 and all of it's sports racer bits and pieces go very cheap to someone with a vehicle to trade. I figure my stuff is worth $10,500, but if you have something valued at $8000, let me know.

My wife would spaz (for some reason known only to womanhood she thinks three motorcycles should be my limit), but I'd take a 900 Ducati SS or Monster, a Cagiva Gran Canyon, TL 1000, BMW or ? Maybe a package deal of several bikes? Pre-oil frame Triumphs in good shape would get my attention.

I'd also take an interesting street car, truck or street rod project.

Heck, if it rolls, I'll consider it. Even Harleys.

Re: Helping
If you want to increase visibility of this forum, spend some money to get rid of the annoying pop-up ads that happen with this forum. I always pass this one up because of them, and the lack of activity. Once a day is more than enough.

Visibility
Agree, those popups are just awful - computer locks up every so often.

The DSR site has the info...

Eliminating Pop-up Ads
One solution is to pay the ez-board troll -- for a few bucks you can eliminate the pop-ups on all the ezboards you visit.

But wait, there's more -- you get that nifty little logo next to your name

Now how much would you pay?

Pop-ups
What is the overall fee to get rid of the pop-ups?

While I have broadband at home, it is not available in the area where our office is and the pop-ups slow everything down to a crawl.

While we do not produce a CSR race car, I am always interested in what the class is doing and would be willing to contribute to the fund.

Regards,

CS Diasio

I feel like the ez-board pusher here...
Your personal "CSC User" account will cost $7 for 6 months, or $12 for 12 mo. Go to the first page of any forum and click the "my control center" link near the top-left of the page. Click the
"communities" tab and you should see the "CSC User" button.

The Admin of this board has enabled the Community Chest that will allow users to contribute the required amount to keep this board ad-free. The cost varies depending upon the number of page views the site receives.

I also understand there are some downloadable tools that will prevent pop-ups from all websites.

New car ...
I have just been introduced to this discussion ring by a friend of mine Chris Lorenz. I have been working on a car for two years that I hope will be of interest to CSR folks ... I have been hearing for while about car counts and that is unfortunate because this class is all about class. Anyway I have been working on this car for some time now and I am quite excited about it. I have just gotten the homologated to ASR this past Sept and only got a few races in before the season was over. I am now converting to CSR. I do have some concerns as to how competative it will be at the National levels due to weight ... If anybody has suggestions I am all ears!

Sports Racing Website
Glad you found us... but we're moving!! Since there is a large crossover between DSR and CSR technology, everybody decided to hold our discussions on the DSR forum. They have a whole area set aside to discuss vehicle weights. Just click this link: pub6.ezboard.com/fdsrforumfrm9

Welcome.
