Cycling holidays in the Netherlands
In one of my marvellous ideas which rarely come to fruition, I have been thinking about going over to Holland for a couple of weeks worth of cycling holiday.
There would be two of us going (myself and my poor unfortunate other half), we would have to hire (or, if they were particularly cheap, we could buy) bikes there and would, ideally, be staying at campsites. We will be flying into Amsterdam but can, of course, get a train from there to somewhere more rural to begin our cycling excursion.
Has anyone experience of cycling/camping in Holland (or going on such a holiday anywhere) and can you please offer some advice, information on particularly good places to see/stay and anything else of relevance? From memory, the fellow who runs this web site has done something similar himself and I would greatly appreciate any help Peter can offer (sorry if it seems like I'm trying to force you to help me).
