DO THE SIMPSONS NEED A CHANGE
The Simpsons have been on for like more than 10 yrs. now. And doesn't anyone else find it suspious that Maggie never gets out of her crib and pacifier. Lisa, although incredibly smart is still in the thrid grade and Bart's Voice never changed or anything? Don't u think that a change or two would do our favorite family good?

The Simpsons are timeless.
That's how they've lasted longer than any other sitcom, even "live action" sitcoms.
They don't need to change...
I mean, think about Calvin and Hobbes... or even Peanuts (although there was some strange time things going on there, for the most part the characters didn't really age)...
I guess what i'm saying is no.

Don't be crazy
The second Maggie takes out the pacifier the show is over. Maggie is Maggie because she is always sucking on the pacifier. Homer is Homer because he always works at the Power Plant. Where would the show be if he were to retire which is where the show would go if you had them age. Burns for the most part dissappears. Even beloved Ralph (for some unknown reason) would have to change. The micro-second they change anything in the Simpsons like that is the day you can make bets with your friends what month the Simpsons will be cancelled.

yeah, you have to keep them the same, except for the "special episodes" where they tell the future...those are pretty good...I like how maggie still doesn't talk. the simpsons are what they are because although they have evolved, they have stayed right where they've always been

The Simpsons can't change! If they did change then the show would probably off air. Maggie is barley in her crib. She shot Fat Tony and his gang. She also shot Mr. Burns. What the hell do you expect a baby to do? Drive a car? Plus non of the other Simpsons can change. Everyone likes just how they are.
