Re: DO YOU THINK WE ARE OBJECTIFING MR. MCMANUS HERE?
Hi Fellow Kai Fans,
I believe we're all talking about our favourite, sexy guy , named Kai; whether dead or alive, whether Brunnen-G Kai or Kai/Prince, we just love talking about him & voicing our opinions. I don't think there's anything wrong with that; & if there is, it's just our opinion of him.

Could it be that BD is envious of the fandom relegated to Mr. McManus? Could be since in all honesty his role was of the 'clown'..while Kai was the hero and Zev/Xev the heroine..but in fairness it was the combined collectiveness of all three characters that made the Lexx the show it was and is!...so kudo's to all of them...

I do agree with your assumption of the roles. Stan was the harmless bumbling fool type character, who alot of times just meant well and didn't think much past his libido. Although there were a few times he saved the day, especially at the end of Gigashadow. He could have left Kai and Xev on that little stage in Brigadoom, but he turned around and came back after hearing more of Kai's story, he couldn't abandon them.
Kai was a hero from the beginning, sacrificing his life in order to save his planet. He was noble and honorable. He helped Stan and Xev out of many situations that they never would have gotten themselves out of.
Xev was sad, lonely, fierce, curious and an explorer and added to the comic relief. She was (to quote the Mickey Gilley song, at least I think it was mickey gilley) looking for love in all the wrong places.
