Deal me in!
OOC.... this isnt finished yet... need to know how he would go about asking in..... but i thought id post this much so you can have a look Dan and let me know if i should change details about his mission etc! Date TBD
.........

Something big was going down. George could feel it. But then again how could he not! Hell the anticipation buzzed in the air at A Corps like electricity, the tension translating itself into significant glances and whispered conversations held tantalisingly just out of earshot.

It wasn’t acceptable of course. This exclusion! Not to him! Not now that he had his contract signed and sealed. It hadn’t been easy of course, securing his place in this non human dominated society, but he had done it all the same. Though he strongly suspected that his success had come as a surprise to all those involved.

It hadn’t been a suicide mission. Not quite. There had been a chance of success and to give them their due, the company hadn’t stinted on his backup. Still…. they had sent a rookie in to bring home an important deal with a most intransigent client. George wasn’t stupid. He had know after a few hours of studying the background details his new employers had furnished that they were expecting certain losses in this negotiation. And after all killing the messenger was an age old reflex that, he suspected was instinctive to humans and demons alike.

Still…. that was only fair. After all he had more or less wandered in off of the streets, with little more to offer than undisguised ambition and a proven willingness to step beyond the limits of established morality if it served his purpose. He known he was risking his life from the moment he had taken the elevator up to Vorba’s office. Maybe even before. Just asking for the interview had been risky in the extreme. But sometimes that was how it was. One roll of the dice! All or nothing! But @#%$ the stakes had to be high.

Entry into this most closed of worlds. That had been worth staking everything on. And he had done it with no regrets. Why? Because this was where the real power was! Not that pretend power he had lusted over before. God, that seemed so stupid now! All those petty schemes that had seemed so important at the time. Wheeling and dealing in the small confines of human society when all this was going on in the background. No wonder the demons thought so little of humanity. Hell they weren’t even able to open their eyes and see what was going down! Well he had. Or rather his eyes had been opened for him by the events at Harmony Market. But at least he hadn’t looked away!

And he wasn’t going to look away this time either! In fact he had been doing quite the opposite, sifting through the rumours till he came up with something stable that might pass as fact. Pursuing the few clues he had with the same relentlessness that he had shown back in the days when his prey had been some poor sod who had defaulted on a loan to one of his bosses and who needed to be taught not to do it again! Oh the methods weren’t quite the same but that didn’t matter. George wasn’t stupid. He knew when to talk and when to listen, when to flatter and when to threaten. @#%$ he could even seduce when he had too, in a less charm, more sex manner.

Put it all together and it meant he got what he needed. Not every detail of course. Far from it. Security was tight at A corps and fear of what would happen if the higher levels of management found out there had been loose talk kept people pretty quiet despite his best efforts. Still he had got enough! That there was to be a raid had been easy enough to work out. It was finding the target that had been the challenge. But one he had risen too with resolve and imagination. And it had paid off. At least in part.

A school! That much had slipped out. And in the end it was really all he needed. The web had done the rest. Google in school plus, demon, vampire, supernatural, mutant and the list was endless. Subtract all those that only existed in films and imagination and lets just say the usual suspects soon came to light. George smiled as he made his way along the corridor. A school for example run by one of the most fervent supporters of mutant rights in the world. A school who thought nothing of employing an equally vocal blue cat thing as its doctor! George liked the look of that one. But even if he was way off base one thing seemed to be a given. It didn’t look as if it was a kinder garden they were going to be raiding and that was fine as far as he was concerned.

Stick him in with a bunch of six year olds and he was as useful a gear stick on a horse. But teenagers! Now there weren’t many at A corps who had had his experience working schools. He had started dealing drugs in the playground, bullied his way up to the top of the food chain, exploited every weakness going in his fellow students to make a quick killing. And even when he had left school he still had kept his contacts there. Dealing didn’t stop because you walked out the school gates for good. It just changed. You moved one rung up the distribution ladder, supplying those who distributed inside instead of doing the dirty work yourself.

Oh yes schools were something he understood. And that was a major plus in a place like this. Most of the guys his age round here he had discovered had been bred as super soldiers or trained in some private demon run institutes to be the perfect drone. They wouldn’t know what to do with a real kid if it bit them. While he on the other hand…………Bend them , break them, build them up, shoot them down; That he knew how to do. Hell he could be their best friend or their worst enemy. Whatever A corps wanted. All he had to do was let management know that!

Which was exactly what he was going to do!
