Dieting and supplements
Two years ago I started dieting and working out and within 6 weeks I lost close to 25 pounds and was feeling really great. Over the Christmas holidays I got the flu and when I returned to my diet and exercising I noticed that I was retaining fluid and ultimately I was placed on a high blood pressure medicine that contains a diauretic. I was taking Xenadrine and Creatine as part of my diet and now that I am extremely overweight again(I stand 5'6 and a half and weigh 277), should I go back on the Xendarine and Creatine to help me out?

Yes the Xenadrine will help, but Since you currently have a high blood pressure problem, I would shy away from Xenadrine RFA and go with the Xenadrine EFX - which is a non-ephedra formula. As your weight drops, I would expect that your bp should also. As far as the creatine goes, it will help your strength increase, but it will also make you hold more water - in the muscle cells. (Thats why its considered a cell volumizer. Great for size, but it the bottom line is pounds.....While reducing, follow a strict low carb diet, and do plenty of cardio. After a few months, if the weight comes off and the bp stays up, try cutting back somewhat (not completely) on red meats to see if the blood presure improves. There are some people (not that many really) that have an intolerance to arachadontic acid which is prevalent in red meat. The intolerance is manifested in higher bp. If this should be the case, write me back and I will give you some tricks in preparing red meats to eliminate a lot of the AA.
