Don't know how to say this...
Hey all! Sorry I have been away for so long. I am about to make a more perminant return, but I have a confession I need to make. It seems my real life has been affected by game play in a way I never thought possible, and I must tell someone. So, I am here..among friends.
You all know about the planned marriage in game I am to be apart of. I was so excited. I began to spend more time with Leigh. We would farm together, talk all the time. We went from levels 10 to 30 together, never leveling out set jobs without each other. Last week our timing was off for about 3 days..we kept missing each other. I would stay on for hours waiting for her to log on. I would be at work and I would check to see who was on, and I would get butterflies if I saw her name..what was going on with me..??? I thought it was weird to develope friendships on this game, but these feelings were something more. In my mind I would say to myself, "This is crazy, she doesn't live anywhere near you, she is totaly different from you, and this is totally online!!!" But the mind is discplined, not the heart. So I decided to tell her, not that I expected anything, but it was something I felt I had to do. So I hinted I needed to talk to her about something, and we decided we would talk when she returned from a movie..2:30AM my time I waited and she never showed up. The next day the same thing nothing. Finaly, I found her and she was pretty upset. I asked her what was bothering her and she told me..She had been talking to a new friend she met online..a girl. She had fallin for her because they had alot in common...It suddenly became hard to breath..to make it worse, she wasn't even paying attention to me..she was IMing her new friend while I was talking to however was controlling her character....
I know this may all sound crazy and stupid but like I have said before, I have no online gaming experiance. I figured with all of us RPing, someone would have some advice...I feel like a total retard. Anyay, the wedding is off. We will still level together and she is a great friend that I don't want to lose, but it will be hard for a while. So if you have any comments, please leave them.
