History:
Draven was an aspiring rock star, and he spent the better part of his younger years perfecting his style. Due to his desires for a musical career, he spent as much time on the stage at his local nightclub as he could. This is where he met his future fiancee, Shelly, sitting alone at the bar, bored and ready to leave. Draven was always a charmer, yet when he met her, even he was stunned speechless.
Four years past, his 20th birthday quickly approching, Shelly, had helped motivate him into producing his first album, they had just moved into their new apartment and life was suddenly looking well for the struggling couple.
This is when things started turning for the worst, for a while now Draven was aware his future wife was a witch, and also gifted with the ability to hear the thoughts of others. Her powers developed while they where together, and he loved her no less then when he first met her.
A day before their wedding, as Shelly was trying on her dress, the door was thrown open, half hanging off the hinges as a group of witch hunters entered the apartment. The scream alerted Draven who was in another room, he came rushing to the door to see a man in his 30's throwing Shelly to the ground. With a yell of rage Draven charged towards the attackers, only to have a gun drawn on him, two shots fired into his chest. The room started to be swollowed by the shadows, his vision blurred, one of the members raised their gun as Draven staggered sideways towards his lover, another shot is fired, his body falls back, slamming through a window, falling down three stories to the ground.
When he awoke, all was dark, as he tried to speak his voice seemed to fail him at first, his fingers running across the silky fabric all around him. With a new strength he had never had before, he managed to break himself out of the coffine he was confined in. Breaking through the ground where he was burried, like some undead creature of the night, Draven found himself in a grave yard. Beside him, a grave with Shelly's name, confused and heartbroken, he waited by her grave, as if hoping that maybe she too would rise like he had.
Draven was there till just before sunrise, unsure what he was, alive or dead, flesh or spirit, he sat hidden in the old church nearby. The beating of wings haunted him for hours after that, an unseen bird circling above him, yet out of sight.
Soon he began to remember what had happend, like a tidal wave of memories crashing down upon him, his mind torn apart as he is filled with a thousand different emotions all at once. That's when, for the first time, the black crow lands before him, its gleaming eyes watching him. It was the crow that drew Draven away from the church, lead him all the way back to his apartment. This is where his visions first began to haunt him, as soon as he walked into the room, he could hear whispers of the past, and soon the whispers grew louder, until suddenly he could see the past. He and Shelly strolling across the room, then Shelly screaming, the door banged down, he watched as he went flying out the window, he yelled and screamed yet the ghosts ignored him as they beat Shelly, but before he could see any more, they all fade. Another man stands in the room, his ghostly figure stares down at the floor, more men come and the peer out the window. The call of the Crow seems to wake him from this dream, as the figures quickly fade away.
After that he soon discovered his ability to heal, to his shock, his face was even different, paler, with stranger black markings on his mouth and eyes. He could move faster and was stronger then he'd ever been in his life.
For a while he experimented with his verious powers, and soon took to defending the weak and abused. He soon discovered a tale, one that says people once believed that when a person died, a crow carried their soul to the land of the dead. Sometimes, something so bad happens that a terrible sadness is carried with it. The soul can't rest. Then sometimes just sometimes, The Crow can bring that soul back to make the wrong things right.....
Even though he's not sure what exactly he has to do, he tries his best to figure it out, and in the mean time, help anyone he meets along the way.
Personality:
Sometimes he can be all charming and sensitive, otertimes he can be dark and broody. He's more of a hero then he'll ever admitt. He's keen to find a connection in the world, something that'll tell him he's needed and that there is a reason why he still lives on.

*Draven sat on the ledge of a building, he was going over a play he and Shelly had watched, a figure leaps over above him. Landing on the ledge across from where Draven sat, the red dressed man peered over the side of the roof and spied on something, or someone. Neither of which Draven cared about, he continued whispers the words of the play, even when the building across from him began to sway under an unseen force.
The man, losing his foothold on the building, manages to just grasp hold of the ledge where Draven was sitting, a large black crow eyes the dangling man*
Draven:"..Suddenly I heard a tapping, as if someone gently rapping, rapping on my chamber door..."
*He looks down at DareDevil*
Draven:"..Did you hear me rapping?"
Crow:"Caw Caw!"
*Cries the bird, Draven smiles as he studies the the black creature*
Draven:"No I guess he could not have heard me Rapping, he was not at the play..."
*Draven grabs hold of DareDevil's arm, pulling him up with ease, flashes of images flooding his mind as he holds the man. Flashes of faces, of him fighting people, of him walking down the street, now he's in an office, a lawyer's office...Quickly Draven let's go of the man, looking back down at the streets below*
Draven:"A blind man out to see the sights..."
*He chuckles as he swings his feet*
Draven:"For night shall come when their work is done, to drain the world of all that's fun."
*He laughs softly and the Crow ruffles up its feathers, Resting his head back aginst the wall of the building, he strokes the Crow gently with his fingers*
Draven:"Fly little birdie, fly away...fly to where the children play."
*The crow flaps its wings and flies off, but continues to circle around the building, grabbing the edge of the building, Draven pulls himself over into the roof*
Draven:"Sheeeeeeelly! Come look what I found! A flower like the ones that grew upon the grass infront of our window!"
*He holds up a white flower, the weed started to grow in a patch of dirt*
Draven:"Can you see it?"
*He calls up into the heavens, but drops his arms and looks back at Angeline and Magneto, looking at them as if he didn't realize they where their, he smiles and gives a bow*
"... I will face my fear... and it will pass through me...
and when it's gone there will be nothing... only I will remain..."
