Shade was still on his first pint, having only take a few sips every now and then. It would certainly seem that he wasn't as big a drinker as Ayrin, though he didn't really have any sorrows to drown so he figured he'd make this drink last. Of course, this was because he didn't have much riding on the job he just took. While Ayrin had been hoping to get her hands on the money that would let her get a new part for her machine, Shade had just been doing something to kill his boredom. In the five years he's been a mercenary, he's already made tons of money. Really, the only reason he still does merc jobs is because itgives him something exciting to do.
"I'll drink this all in due time. Though if you want to take it, I won't stop you. It seems you need the alcohol more than I do."
Smirking slightly, he took another sip from the pint before putting it back down. It was rather amusing really, watching her get hammered like this.
So tell me, what's a beautiful young woman like yourself doing with that machine you have? Female mercenaries tend to be middle aged, yet you certainly don't look that old. I'd figure you could just seduce a rich guy and live comfortably."
For you that was the most important day of your life. But for me? It was Tuesday.
