As it says in the auction, and in accordance with statements made by Jeanne Cole of Lucasfilm, I am not selling this for profit. I put a sh!tload of time and effort into making this one replica. I can't use it and don't need it. I'm not making another one. I just want to get back the cost of materials and the value of my labor.
Shawn - I appreciate the thought, but let me look out for my own best interests. No offense, but as a copyright/trademark attorney, I daresay I am better qualified to calculate the risks here than you.

Thanks. My reserve was $275. Do you all think that was too high? I put a shitload of work into it, but maybe I overestimated the value of my time and labor.
Do you think I have a better chance of reaching that amount the closer we get to DragonCon?
