When you aproach a group of albs look at the very back line and target the spell casters, then let those thane magic hammers fly until they flee, then target the younger folk up front or defend your healers by countering any attacks on them. Make sure to ask a healer for a mana regen spell, that way you can slam them albs more with distance attacks before closing. As a thane you are not a tank, but rather a support class. Disrupt the casters long enough for your people to close into melee. Make SURE you tell your group you plan to use magic AE hammer spells. That way the mezzers in your group will switch over to Stunning instead of watching you break their Mezzes.
