Whenever I read one of your episodes, It's like a breath of fresh air. This was a good one. Dispite having some many characters in the chapter, you manage to give each of them depth and a storyline.
Even though I am a Jahammer at heart, I hope Jack give Scout a chance. I don't think hamilton deserves jack.. yet..
I enjoyed the interaction between Grace and Dexter in this chapter. It seems Dexter is much less experienced than his girlfriend.
I hope Jack and Jill can be friends again they had such a great friendship.
As usual, great job.

Good update. I loved all the character interaction, admitedly it was confusing at times but that's inevitable with so many characters. Nick's proposal was lovely too. I can't wait for the next update. Don't leave it so long next time, please.
I recently re-watched the original tv show and I think you've got the characters written very well. I'm tempted to go back to the start again and start reading for the third or fourth time. I'll probably save them on to my computer so I can continue reading at my lesuire.

Another fantastic update. I've been MIA for awhile but this site always drags me back. This was confusing and convoluted and I would have been pissed when revealed it was all an elaborate scheme. Also, I'm so glad that Hamilton has come to his senses and that he's determined to wait patiently for Jake to turn his way again. I'm not exactly thrilled with Jake/Scout, I find it a little odd but *shrugs* if it's what they need, it's what they need.
I'm really interested in next episode. What with the mystery mobile careening off of the road. I'm most interested Jill's situation as she's on the outs with just about everyone that's ever really mattered to her. That and I'm interested in the affect of another tragic event on the gang at Rawley.

Ok, So I recently just stumbled on this site after rediscovering my facination with the Young Americans TV show. Thinking back, when the show ended I was really bummed out because it seemed like such a great story line... Then last week I found your site and it was like litterally picking up where the show left off and I LOVE THAT!
Seriosly I just want to commend you both on the storyline you've created... It seriously works from sophmore year to senior year I really love the plot and character development.
Above all, I love Jake... shes's my favorite character because she's the one who really ties everyone together. Though I was a little (ok alot) dissapointed with Hammilton, I still love the way you developed his character so you could sympathize with him (if not empathize) I was suprized to find out how much i really enjoyed reading scout/jake... their is something about that pairing that is just full of potential... I really hope we get to see some more of them together A LOT more ... I really love the idea of a scout/jake suprize ending.
Either way, great job on the episodes! Please update soon!!!!
