Episode 8:Out
Remember to catch the finale of the Spring Semester tonight at eight. It will be up by then for sure Also, I ask (with a pleading tone), that for just this episode, you don't come back and reveal what happens plot-wise. There are some goodies in this one that are best read when they aren't expected, I think. That mostly applies to the Jake/Ham/Ryder/Gwen storyline Okay...anyway...check it out.

Loved the episode, especially Ryder scenes. The one with Gwen and the after effects was great. I hope he comes back to visit. Jake and Hamilton were cute as always. Your dialog is always great. I loved all the references to the past episodes, especially the ones that were on tv.

DELETED for failing to comply with explicit instructions of NOT coming back to the thread and ruining the episode for anyone who hasn't read it. There's big stuff in this episode and we'll eventually talk about it here, but...I'd like to keep major plot details of this episode underwraps for at least a few more days as more and more people (hopefully) read the episode. FYI, Stephanie, that's why your thread was deleted. If I hadn't asked specifically, it wouldn't be a big deal...and I'm not one who is cool with censorship. without talking about what happened, i have to say that this episode was brilliant. i loved the storylines for all characters, obvioulsy with a focus on ryder/jake/gwen, which i thought was good. plus i think that it was important to start gwen interacting more with other characters, like hamilton in this episode. naturally it was also important to move along with the finn story, so that was good. although will/bella/sean were not major players in this episode, i don't think that that detracted from the episode in anyway.
so overall i say that it was definately a great episode. something good to read in a not so good week
looking forward to whatever installments you have for us in the future. keep up the fantabulous work!!

That was great! The whole Ryder/Jake/Gwen thing was amazing, and with Ryder... that was definitely unexpected. Great, but un-expected. Which is what made it great. Anyway, I can't wait until you write more. (Are you planning on writing more soon? I know this was like the end of the season, so I wasn't sure if you were going to wait a while until you wrote more)

I LOVED this episode! I almost started crying right at my desk at work. (Yeah, I know I'm a dork). I loved how this was "Ryder's episode" and he did the voice overs - really poignant - this ep made me like his character a lot more.
I like how things were left with all of the couples and I am really looking forward to this summer email thing.
I've said it before and I'll say it again - you guys are amazing.
hmm... what with YA and Life As A House, the shower has taken on a whole new feeling for me...

Okay...so I was rereading this ep since I was bored and didn't want to do my math homework and I noticed that in the last scene Jake was wearing Ham's 3EB shirt...would this be the 3EB shirt mentioned in REWIND? How cute is that? Have I mentioned how much I LOVE REWIND? It's really really awesome...and it's kinda nice how it was sorta brought back in this ep through the shirt though it probably wasn't written until after this ep was done...and since I'm making absolutely NO sense at all, I'll shut up right now.

Hey. I'm kinda new around here, but i've just finished reading your Spring Semester series (instead of revising but never mind.) I wanted to say i really enjoyed your writing. You captured the characters really well, and the plot lines were excellant, i was completely hooked. I was a little surprised how Ryder turned out, i never expected anyhting like that, but i thought you handled it really well, and the writing conveyed exactly what was going on really well. I just hope you don't give up writing about Rawley anytime soon.

"Out" was really really good. I could kinda see what you were building up to in the previous episodes, and I right. lol. Yeah. Its showed a different side of Ryder, one I think could have been featured as an explination for some of his actions, if the show had continued. This is definitely the best episode I've read.
