Euro Spec 91 CRX Si
Other than the obvious, 1.8 liter, twin cam - 16 V, how can one tell if it is carrying the original motor when purchased?

no motor comes twin cam
NO CRX comes with twin cam. So if your crx comes with twin cam and there saying its the original motor there full of bull. RExs only come with single cam STOCK.

I think your wrong on that if I'm not mistaken jspec
SIR's come with the b16a now I also believe that euro spec crxs come with ZC which I think are twin cam but I'm not sure

Eurospec and japenese CRX`s are twin cam...
I have confirmed that aspect of CRX`s, european specs and japanese versions come with a twin cam 16 V overhead....carrying a 1.6 L. The other difference that Eurospecs carry on the rear end bumper is an elongated opening where the license plate should go due to plates being longer in length. I think that if I confirm vin number with motor number that should tell me if the motor is original correct?
