That is if you�re nice to her, if someone offends her then she tends to go quiet. She does not however let herself be pushed around; she is an expert at sarcasm and will not hesitate to use it. Otherwise she is polite and respectful and absolutely loves teasing her friends. Until she discovered that Taylor was a mutant she had never really given much thought to the subject. And after discovering that one of her best friends in the world was a mutant and that it hadn't changed him, she decided that whether or not someone was a mutant wasn't really an issue. She is maybe a bit naive when it comes to real live issues as she lead a sheltered life in the country. But she does have a basic idea of the goings on in the big city from what she reshearched for social studies. Likes: When things go just as she planned Chocolate Being her own boss Shoes Chinese food Dislikes: People thinking that they are better than her Indian food Nuts Skill/s: She is an able waitress. She is good at handling accounts and at organising things so that they run smoothly. History: Eva was born in Russia where she resided only a couple (as in two Matt he he)of years before her father accepted a job offer on the US space program. She does not remember much of what she considers to be her homeland but she has decided that one day she would go and visit the town in which her parents used to live. However things did not go as well as her parents had planed; her father was accused of being a Russian spy by his co-workers and the unrest thins produced caused him to loose his job. So with the small amount of money that her family had gained Eva found herself uprooted again. They found a small house in the country and her father used the farming skills he had learned as a child to feed his family. During this time Eva started school which she really did not enjoy for the first few years. She was far from fluent in English and the other children would laugh at her because of the fact that she spoke in Russian. It was at this point in her life when Eva became stubborn but not in a bad way. She decided that she was going to make something of herself and make her parents proud, give them back the life they should have had. So she studied long hours every day until she was top of her class and she decided that she would only speak English in public from now on. So as the years passed some of the other students went from disliking her because she was different to disliking her because she was smart. The fact that there daughter was having a hard time fitting in at that school did not go unnoticed by her parents. And when she was 12 they sat her down and told her that they had found another school she could attend it was a bit further away but it would allow her to have a clean start. And so it was that in fall she started in her knew school full of new faces that knew nothing of her. She was determined to make a good impression and she couldn�t believe her luck when she found herself sat next to a pupil that could use her help in order to pass Math. His name was Taylor and she quickly offered to tutor him. As they got to know each other they soon became friends and for the first time Eva was happy. It was not unexpected that she developed a crush on him at that point; he was after all the first boy that had ever been nice to her. She was part of his circle of friends but never really got on with anyone as well as she did with Taylor. But the years passed and high school finished and their paths diverged; Taylor went of to College and she went home to help on the farm because her father had hurt his foot in an accident. She was bitterly disappointed that she could not go to College but she would not abandon her parents. Her goodbyes to Taylor were very hard for her and even though she had grown out of her childhood crush she still loved him in a way. She promised him that she would be in touch and watched the car disappear as his parents drove him away. She spent an entire year working in her fathers place in the farm and once he had recovered she decided to go and find out what Taylor was doing now maybe she could go and visit? But when she went to his parents they were very sharp about the whole subject. All they told her was that he had been expelled from College and had moved to New York. With that they asked her to leave� well if Taylor was in New York it was as good as any place to start. Eva went home that day not knowing how to break the news to her parents. They had always been there for her and she loved them dearly. She felt that if it had not been for their support she would never have gotten to where she was today. She did not want to leave them but in order to make them proud she had to find herself a place in the world. When she broke the news to them it was obvious that they were upset about her leaving but the pride was evident in their eyes. As she set out for the city the only thing that held her together was the support her parents had given her. She had to admit that the city was a serious culture shock. Everything was huge and everyone seemed so rude. She managed to get a very small flat using the money her parents had forced her to take. She was grateful for it in the end because it took her months to find a job. But then she got hired as a accountant for a small buisness. The pay was relatively good and she started saving so that she could move up in the world. But first she was determined to find Taylor and she figured that the best way was to pick up the phone book and go and knock on the door of every Andrews, T in the city. This took her a long time but she finally found him. He seemed a little different however more on edge but the joy of finding him again blinded her to this fact. For about three months the two would meet regularly and discuss old times and what they wanted to do with there lives. One night the idea of Wired was born� it was going to be a cyber caf�. She was good at managing and he was good at computers it was all planned. And with the savings she had they could just about finance it. Things did not however, go as planed one night she turned up at the door of the block of flats in which he lived only to hear shouting. She hurried forward only to walk straight into a Yellow Taylor; she saw the look of shock and confusion she wore reflected in his eyes as he ran from her. She turned only to see him disappear into the night. Confused she went into the building to ask what had happened only to be told by the owner that he would not have any stinking mutants in his flats. The shock of this news was nothing compared to the fact that he had not told her. He had thought that she would turn away from him� From that day she did not see him again but she did not give up on the idea of Wired. She used all of her savings to open the caf�. But once it was nearly finished she realised that she could not run it on her own. And so the search for Taylor began again. 0x Tempest x0 Posts: 949 (2/6/05 6:00 pm) Reply	Re: Eva Martiv luckily for you, we just added that non-cannon, non-first characters may go without a sample Seems like "Wired" is getting shape... sooooooo here it goes First of all, "Abilities" is actually meaning "Powers" so what you put there is rather a "Skill"...but that's just a formal thing that won't really need effort to alter Personality: It'd be good if you expanded a little here... what is her attitude towards mutants, mutant-haters and more "real-life-ish" things as politics, strangers,... Is she likely to offer a spiked and fanged demonic-looking mutant a cup of tea, stare at him or start to panic? History: Yep, the dreaded childhood part... could you add a little here? If they left Russia before the age of 4, I guess you can skip that part but generally I'd like to know what her relationship to her parents was like. Was she spoiled or raised in a severe manner? What about friends? Was she playing outside thus getting in contact with others or more of a home-girl? *Quote:* She managed to get a very small flat and after months of searching a job as a small time accountant. But looks good, eyes the part about her having a crush on Taylor watch out, Angie has her sights set on the Orlando look-a-like...and she gets jealous easy and will be there in the cafe often! stamps
