twhiteside Member Posts: 13 (11/4/03 10:38 pm) Reply	Fifth Wheel Lift Kit - Arrived Just received the lift kit for our fifth wheel from Pilgrim. It will raise the 5'ver 4" and increase the bed rail clearance. Right now there is only 5.5" of clearance. On our first outing, the tailgate cracked the hitch light. It doesn't look too difficult to install. The hardest part will be jacking and blocking it up safely while the frame blocks are installed. I will take some before and after pictures just in case anyone is interested. 2004 Open Road 340RBHS 1999 Dodge Ram Cummins QuadCab Longbed 4X4 5SPD, 3.55 LSD, Jacobs Exhaust Brake, Pillar Mount DiPricol EGT and Boost Gauges, Westach Fuel Pressure Gauge, 4" Jardine Exhaust - 5" Chrome Tip, Rancho 9000s, Westin Nerf Bars, Hadley Air Horn
twhiteside Member Posts: 14 (11/11/03 5:44 pm) Reply	Installed I installed the blocks to raise the fifthwheel over the weekend. It took a little longer than I first thought. Some of the holes for the bolts were a little off. After it was installed I did drop the kingpin down. Now I have no clearance problems between the fifthwheel and the truck bedrail. I can give more specific details if anyone else needs to do this.
