If you look carefully in the 1st half of B-2, one of the pups have a red mouth and black eyes. On the next scene, Aleu (puppy) have exagerated big eyes with a small slow-motion in blinking eyes.

Really? I didn't notice that back then. Perhaps I should watched more of WQ often lol!
This might not be what you consider as a mistake anyway, but to me it does. Remember the part where Aleu and the wolves were howling on the pack of ice towards the end of the movie? It was moving away, right? Well, when viewed from shore they looked big. In fact, too BIG to be true. It was an awkward scene, the most awkward I found so far in the movie. Just my op, BTW.

Re: well..
*lol*, really? I never noticed that part.
The only scene of animation that bugged me, but was not a mistake, was part of the dialogue between Nava and Niju. When Nava discusses how "a true leader will take my place", Niju walks down from the top of a cliff...and it clearly wouldn't have worked that way realistically. I'll have to go and rewatch it...

Film Mistakes
To everyone, film mistakes are a sign of "rushed" work. Just accept the mistakes in the films and don't question them, okay?
Oh, and you, panstat, I do appreciate your cynicism, but do keep in mind that every mistake mad is the basis of human's fallen nature. Humans create films, humans "advertise" dogs/wolves, and humans made mistakes in overestimating/underestimating their favourite friends i.e. the dog/wolf.
Again, go to www.timberwolf.org for super-detailed info on wolves. Please read up more, thank you.
In "Balto" the claws of the white wolf and Balto are gray/off-white, but in "Wolf Quest", Balto, as well as all of the wolves, have black claws.

Re: Film Mistakes
Wow, I never thought there could be so many glitches in Balto II. Well honestly I prefered calling those that way. 'Mistakes' and 'flaws' just sound too offending at times.
Yeah, true Catch. Mistakes (ops, there I go again) can be a result from rushed work, but then again it can be anything else. Sometimes the artists weren't able to identify minor things that were in a predecessing movie before implementing new grounds for the sequel- basically glitches were also things that were there, but weren't supposed to- and viewers noticed those changes while watching.
Ohh, I don't say we're questioning how Balto 1 & 2 differ from each other based on glitches found. Sometimes noticing them makes someone more observant, and in turns creates a sense of appreciation too. I wouldn't want to try and know everything -including glitches- about one particular movie unless I really like it. I bet everyone does.

" I totally 100% agree with that bro." ".so basically this proves why rushing through a film is bad for the end result" QUOTE UNQUOTE AMEN !
Wolfdogs...
Not so much a mistake as a bunch of writers not doing their research.
When Balto said 'she's gonna be all dog...' and then he sees her howling and gets worried, well, huskies howl plenty, especially as puppies. And often the doggiest looking pup is most wolf-like, and the wolfiest looking is dog-like.
