Zeus And Roxanne 1997

This is a movie about a marine biologist, Mary Beth, who is a single parent and leads a hectic life with her two impossible daughters, Judith and Nora. She, along with her partner Becky, are trying to study and save a beautiful dolphin named Roxanne. Unfortunately, Mary Beth's greedy partner, Claude Carver, tries to capture the dolphin and sell her. Zeus, Terry, and Jordan's dog stow away one day on one of Mary Beth's boat trips, which really annoys Mary Beth. However, when she finds out that the dog and the dolphin can do "interspecies communication," she is intrigued and curious. She meets Terry, the single father of Jordan, and they go out. In the end, it's a race to save the dolphin and Zeus, who was kidnapped by Claude.

Traffic 2000

Intertwining vignettes frame this tale of America's escalating War on Drugs. Ohio Supreme Court judge Robert Wakefield has been appointed the nation's Drug Czar, his new position made more daunting by the discovery that his teenage daughter Caroline is a heroin addict. Meanwhile, DEA agents Montel Gordon and Ray Castro are pursuing Helena Ayala, wife of jailed kingpin Carlos Ayala, as she seeks to the control the business that her husband had kept hidden from her. South of the Border, duplicious local constable Javier Rodriguez is fighting the battle with his own jaded, questionable ethical code.

The Learning Curve 2001

"The Learning Curve" tells an obvious and naive tale about a couple of young scammers who scam their way to the top. The film is an okay shoot with some decent acting talent, most notably Kidman look-alike Mazur. However, "TLC" fails in story and substances as it wends it way though a series of obvious contrivances fleshing out characters who little more than shallow mannequins while appearing to dig for depth but never finding it. Not likely to have appeal beyond a niche teen audience.

Reeseville 2003

Reeseville is a character driven murder mystery, set in the rural midwest. David Meyers (Brad Hunt) returns to the small town in an attempt to silence the demons of his past. Shortly after his arrival, David's father, John Meyers (Cotter Smith) is found dead of an apparent suicide. Or is it? Buried secrets of the town begin to unfold as the coroner, Zeek Oakman (Mark Hamill) begins to suspect that the suicide was staged. The Sheriff, Jason Buchanan (Brian Wimmer) must work quickly to solve the crime and stem the tide of a rapidly growing obsession between David and Jason's sister Iris (Majandra Delfino). The outwardly peaceful appearance of Reeseville begins to unravel as the town's dark underbelly is exposed.
