Final Eviction Ceremony

Final Eviction Ceremony

Julie: In today's Final Eviction Ceremony, we bring back our 7 Jurors to decide between the rightful winner out of our Final 2 - Beau and Will.

vs.
Beau Beasley vs. Will Kirby

Julie: The Jurors will vote for who they want to see as the winner of B!g Brother: Florida.

Before that, Jurors will have 48 hours to ask any questions in this thread. The Final 2 will answer these questions as soon as possible. You may ask as many questions as you want, or you may choose not to ask any at all.

With that, the Final Eviction Ceremony officially begins.

Well this was a... weird final 2. Personally, I'm not sure how either of you two got to the end, so be nice and fill me in.

Also, Beau, you said at one point in the game that you wanted to go to the final 2 with me, yet you evicted me. What makes you think that I'm going to vote for you for that?

And Will, you never talked to me during the entire course of the game. At least Beau was smart enough to talk to someone who would be a potential vote. Explain to me why I should vote for you when we never once communicated during the game.

And good luck to both of you, I think.

^ lmao.

okay, i'm not going to be the uber bitch at you guys, so no long speech from moi. congrats you two for making the final 2. i personally was hoping this game to be more intense, ala Big Brother 6, but it didn't turn out that way. :p okay down to the questions.

Beau, what was the best move you made in this game?

Will, was it my mistake to not nominate you in week 5? :p

Re: Final Eviction Ceremony
Congrats on being the Final Two.

I haven't talked to neither of you for like ... the entire game?! 8o But communication is a two-way street and I gotta admit that I didn't go on AIM as much as I would love to be, so I blame no one but myself. But still, I know almost nothing about your strategies, and therefore my questions tonight are simple -

1. What is your proudest move to have made in the game?
2. Why do you think you can outlast all 10 of us and are now sitting here?

That's all I have for now. Goodluck you two :)

Congratulations to both of you. I have no questions for either of you, because I already made up my mind, because that person was a great friend of mine throughout the game, and even when I told him to vote for me, he didn't! So, you know who you are, and you're getting my vote! =)

Re: Final Eviction Ceremony
What a surprise?

Well, let's see. First of all, Will...

What I'd love to know, and I'm sure I don't even have to ask this question, you probably already know what it is, but why did you choose to not use the Veto on me the week I was evicted?

I mean, Kevin, knowing me, I was probably completely out of the loop anyway, and knowing you, you probably had an alliance with everyone left and were 100 times safer than you made yourself out to be. So I'm sure you probably had tons of back up plans if I was evicted. But really, did you trust that many more people in this game that you were willing to risk losing one of the few people, at least in my opinion, who would support you unconditionally?

I am just to this day confused as to why, even if you did think I was 100% safe like you told me, you would not save me anyway.

That's basically all I want to know from you.

Beau, I really have nothing to ask you, but good luck.

Re: Question Responses
First of all, I'd like to wish everyone a happy holiday and I hope everyone is enjoying their Christmas, if you're celebrating. I am so proud to be in this position in the game. I never thought I'd make it this far, with the Week 1 alliance of Shawn, Cory, Jasper, Tom, and Jordan running the house. But, I persevered. I hid behind decoy Beau and made a solid floater alliance with Cory to ensure I was safe from both angles of the house. I was never nominated for an official eviction and I won crucial veto competitions to make sure I had control over evictions where "Week 1 people" were being chipped away at. I played all sides. I was the one in this game who knew what was going on - Beau was more like my sidekick. People questioned how much Beau deserved to be in the Final 5, let alone Final 2. This was never a question for me. I never evicted Beau or put him up (and allowed him to win Final 5 HoH) in order to have a decoy, in case things went wrong and we were both put up (god forbid). I am just so happy to make the Final 2 with my underdog alliance, though. I am eager to answer your questions to prove why I should win this game over Beau.

Quote:
Will, convince me as to why Beau is a douche.

Cory, we already talked about this over AIM, but I would have never evicted you, based on the footing you allowed me in this game. I came to you in the early weeks and you filled me in secretly about the Week 1 alliance. You enabled me to make it far into the game, because I was able to play all sides, in part thanks to you. Beau's a douche because what kind of repayment is it to evict the person who even allowed you to get where you're at? Yes, it was for strategical purposes, but Cory, you played flawlessly and deserved to make Final 3 at least, especially since you were a good friend to me, and in turn, to Beau.

Quote:
And Will, you never talked to me during the entire course of the game. At least Beau was smart enough to talk to someone who would be a potential vote. Explain to me why I should vote for you when we never once communicated during the game.

Jordan, I realize conversation is a two way street and I knew you had alot going on, as did I. The reason I didn't talk to you is basically because I had my alliances and I didn't want to get to be too friendly with every person in the game, because that would have made it more difficult to evict people. I knew you were a member of the Week 1 Alliance and I used that to my advantage to make you an easy target and evictee. I primarily focused on those I felt closest to - Brandon, Cory, Ryan and Shawn - and left the others out in the dust, because I felt like you would have done the same to me. I guess it would have been the smart thing to talk to you, but I wasn't in favor of making any more deals at that point, and quite frankly, I was more focused on surviving than schmoozing people for votes. I think I already explained in my opening statement how I got this far, but if you would like more details, please let me know. Beau may have talked to you, but I brought Beau to the Final 2 because I knew I could beat him, over anyone else in the game. So take that for what it's worth. I could have easily evicted Beau at some point and survived. Beau couldn't have done the same.

Will, was it my mistake to not nominate you in week 5? :p

Honestly, Shawn, I think it was definitely a mistake on your part not to nominate me, but that shows how I had control over the game and used my social skills to my advantage. That week you singlehandedly changed the game, and imo, lost the game, because you put up one of your Week 1 members and that gave me more footing in the game. Footing that I was desperately looking for. I was down in numbers, like 6-2 at that point, and it was crucial I wasn't nominated. I knew I had a target on my back because I have a good reputation in games but I also knew at that point that I could make it far, because people with power in the game were willing to keep me in.

I will answer Jasper and Brandon's questions later. Thanks for your comment Jafet. :)

LOL Cory. To just make it simple, Ryan was more like a puppet in this game, while I was more like a mastermind/floater. I feel like if it wasn't Beau as my sidekick, it could have been someone else in the minority who had managed to survive early evictions (like Brandon). I think Ryan got lucky by aligning with me because we were friendly on an "acquantaince level" before the game.

1. What is your proudest move to have made in the game?

Thanks for the questions, Jasper. My proudest move in the game is making it to the Final 2 when the odds were definitely against me. I absolutely solidified this move by handing Final 5 HoH to Ryan, instead of Shawn. This put me in a much better position in the house and basically ensured a Final 2 spot for me. I feel like Beau needed that HoH win to stay in the house, whereas I didn't. Ironically, that also shows who had better footing and control in this game and who is more deserving of the title.
Quote:
2. Why do you think you can outlast all 10 of us and are now sitting here?

I think I outlasted every other contestant in this game besides Beau because of my strategy of playing all sides and making sure I had control over the game from behind the scenes. I appeared to have clean hands when I was doing a majority of the strategizing and dirty work because I hid behind decoys and acted gregarious and affable to those I chatted with on a daily or weekly basis. I guess you could call me a spider - I had a web of alliances and took out those bugs who I was threatened by (the Week 1 alliance). I victimized myself at times and acted like the underdog, when I knew, quite confidently, that I could make it to the end. My floater facade was definitely part of my strategy that enabled me to get this far, that's for sure.

What I'd love to know, and I'm sure I don't even have to ask this question, you probably already know what it is, but why did you choose to not use the Veto on me the week I was evicted?

Brandon, this was the hardest move for me in the game. I had to choose between friendship and strategy. I thought you had a shot of staying alive and being evicted 3-2, if I could have just gotten Cory's vote. But, when I brought it up with Cory, it didn't seem like an option, so I guess I cut off part of the web of my alliances. I didn't use the Veto because I didn't want to compromise my own position in the game. In another game, I may have used it and just said @#%$ it, but in this game, I was totally playing to win and I wanted to make sure I could do that. I looked at things in the long run over the short term, and so I knew I couldn't use the veto if I was going to make it to the Final 2. I really do apologize for not using it, but if I didn't use it, Ryan would have gone up and been evicted, and I guess I had to choose between who I felt was more active in this game. I do think though, that this shows I deserve the game win more, because if it hadn't been Ryan as my sidekick, it could have easily been you (if you had survived that eviction). Also, I did trust other people in the game and I was playing all sides with a bunch of alliances, so I knew I could still survive without you in. It was still a decision I somewhat regret though Brandon, because I love having you as a friend and I know in other circumstances I would have absolutely used it. And I'm serious when I say that, not just schmoozing to get votes.

Like many other people, I never really talked to either of you about the game. There was the big alliance that I was part of, but I don't really know what either of your strategies were. So, in no more than a short paragraph, please sum up what your strategy was in the game.

Re: Question Responses
Tom, I think the majority of my answers to the rest of the jury's questions pretty much outline my strategy in this game. But, if I had to sum up my strategy into one small paragraph, here it goes...

I came into the game wanting to make it to Final 2 and every move I made in this game was strategical and based on long term success. I played the role of the floater/mastermind, working from all sides and angles to ensure safety from week to week. My two biggest moves in this game were aligning with Cory and aligning with Ryan. From these relationships I was able to sit pretty and watch as the Week 1ers scapegoated Ryan and others (like Brandon, Jafet and Joe). I strategized to get all the Week 1ers out, chipping away at the less powerful members of your alliance through my HoH and Veto wins, at the same time, making sure my hands always appeared clean. I used my social skills to my advantage with those I did communicate with and victimized myself in order to appear non-threatening and non-competitive, when I really did have a strategy and web of alliances. My plan was that if one alliance crumbled (as they did), I had others to turn to in order to make sure I was always safe and never put up on the block. This mindset enabled me to throw competitions at times and let others take the heat. In the end, this strategy is why I'm sitting here today, and why I feel one of the people I used as a decoy and puppet [Ryan], deserves the win less than me.

Something Freddy said got me interested, what was the "I asked him to vote for me, but he didn't" thing? Was it during the eviction voting when you were up against Jon?

Re: Final Eviction Ceremony
Ok My opening statement I know a few might be mad at me but it is a game. I won some challenges that saved my butt. I stuck with my final 2 partner. I never made a deal that I didn't come through. If I said I will vote to keep you guess what I voted to keep you. I feel I should win because though Will says he made the moves I did I kept him around and I helped him win challenges also. I will answer all these questions truthful to prove I deserve to win.

Quote:
Beau, convince me as to why you're a douche.

Ok Cory I apologized to you that I evicted you I didn't make any promises you didn't nom me on week 1 and I didn't nom you when was I HOH both times I just made a call. Also you asked not to vote you when you and Jordan were up I honored that

Quote:
Also, Beau, you said at one point in the game that you wanted to go to the final 2 with me, yet you evicted me. What makes you think that I'm going to vote for you for that?

Ok Jordan I know we talked about this but I think the reason why was you were the very first person I talked to in this game and I said I would but we didn't talk about the game afterwards and your eviction was 3-0 vote so even if I didn't vote you you would still be in the same place but if we talked more and more strategy I could see myself going with you.

Quote:
Well this was a... weird final 2. Personally, I'm not sure how either of you two got to the end, so be nice and fill me in.

Well here it goes. Week 1 I talked to a few people Cory won HOH he couldn't nom me but he didn't nom me when he had veto. I voted Janelle because Michelle talked to me. Week 2 Cindy won HOH I talked to her a little she nomed Freddy and Jon Freddy was saved by veto. Ian was put up I voted Jon because I know Ian more. Week 3 I won HOH finally I nomed Janelle and Freddy because I know them the least the veto wasn't used and Janelle was evicted. Week 4 Nadia was HOH Jon and Freddy were nomed Linda won POV didn't matter to me because I never talked to them and I was away on holiday because I won the ticket and Freddy was evicted. Cindy won HOH again Jon and Linda were nomed and veto wasn't used I evicted Jon because I know Linda more. Week 6 Will won Veto and HOH which I was happy for him. Linda and Brittany were nomed Brittany and I talked more so I evicted Linda. Week 7 Nadia won again where Bradford and Will were nomed I won veto and I saved Will because we had a deal going. Brittany then went up Bradford asked me if I would not evict him I stayed true to that and evicted Brittany I didn't promise her I would keep her. Week 8 I won HOH again I nomed Nadia and Cindy because I knew they had a deal going on. Will won veto again and didn't use it. Nadia was evicted. Week 9 I basically won HOH for Will on this because I wanted him to win I was nomed because of the room rule but I won veto and saved myself. Bradford went up I felt I might have a better chance if I had to go with Cindy and I evicted him. Week 10 I worked to win Final HOH Will won and evicted Cindy and that is how I got to the final 2. whew that was a lot

Quote:
Beau, explain why you don't deserve to win.

Ok I guess I shouldn't win because I missed a challenge and forgot to vote once. I guess another is I could have kept you but we didn't establish anything. I could have won more challenges too

Quote:
Beau, what was the best move you made in this game?

I guess when I saved myself with the veto on the final 4 because I would have been evicted I think if it was up to Bradford.

Quote:
1. What is your proudest move to have made in the game?

The Proudest move I had to make was when I saved Will one week because Will I were best friends and that's what friends do they help each other out.

Quote:
2. Why do you think you can outlast all 10 of us and are now sitting here?

I feel I outlasted people was because I was able to slide by a lot of the nominations and win challenges I made some moves that kept my ass out of the fire. I used strategy plus I was a challenge threat and that mostly kept me safe throughtout this whole game.

Quote:
Congratulations to both of you. I have no questions for either of you, because I already made up my mind, because that person was a great friend of mine throughout the game, and even when I told him to vote for me, he didn't! So, you know who you are, and you're getting my vote! =)

I kinda figure that is a vote for Will oh well he told me different things about you nice playing with you. Besides about the voting I heard someone else voted to keep you :)

Quote:
Beau, I really have nothing to ask you, but good luck.

Well I would hope that you would have a question for me but thank you anyway.

Quote:
So, in no more than a short paragraph, please sum up what your strategy was in the game.

Ok here it goes. I started out week 1 with nobody I talked to various people but I know what I really wanted to do is make a final 2 with someone I knew I could trust I picked Will. I did everything I could with him we shared info and help each other in anyway we could. I wanted to be safe with other people and maybe join a big alliance but that didn't work out for me so I stuck with Will which was fine because I really wanted to get to the final 2 with him. But I knew my ass was on the line a lot so I knew my strategy was to mostly win challenges and I did just that because I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the vetos and HOHs. Thanks for the question Tom

Alright well my closing statement is I answered these questions as best I could but I didn't use false stories or try to butter you up so you will vote me I want you to vote me because you actually want me to win. I think the truth is the most valuable thing and if lose that what have you got? nothing. Plus I don't try to be fake like some people.

Thank you everyone and I hope you will vote me to win.

Yes, It was when I got evicted. But I'm not sure if he did or did not vote for me. And honestly, I didn't (& don't) care. But I asked him to vote for me, because I didn't feel I was in the game anymore, but he refused to vote for me. I'm voting for Will, because he's the only one who talked to me during the game. So, even though he may have plotted against me, at least he bothered to talk to me!
