Cathean Posts: 13095 (4/19/04 19:17) Reply	French Toast Casserole French Toast Casserole 6-8 slices bread, or 1 package hotdog buns (split in half) 5 eggs 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 cup water or milk 2 tablespoons butter (or margarine) 1/2 cup brown sugar In a bowl, beat together eggs, vanilla and water (or milk). In a well-buttered 13X9-inch pan, place bread (or buns) in a single layer to fully cover bottom of pan. Pour egg mixture over bread. Dot with butter (or margarine). Sprinkle with brown sugar. Place in refrigerator to sit overnight (can be baked right away, but better if sets for several hours). Bake in pre-heated 350-degree oven for 20-25 minutes.
