Gah
(I'm so lame, I can't think of a title. )
Iris pushed open the doors and stumbled out into the castle grounds. It was the weekend and she finally had some freedom from classes.
"At last!" she cried out, spinning around on her toe like a ballerina and getting some strange looks from people. Iris just shrugged, not caring about what people thought.
She saw Gem sitting on a bench at a distance, writing in her poetry book, and Iris walked over and sat down. "Hey Gemma," she said, lighting up a cig.
Gem scrunched up her nose in disgust. "I thought you were going to quit, Iris."
"Pfft," Iris said, taking a drag on her cigarette. "Quit? Never."
Gem rolled her eyes. "Whatever, I'll see you later." And she got up and left without any further explanation.
Iris raised and eyebrow, then shrugged. "Whatever."
(God, that sucks. lol)

"got another one" Stymied said while sitting next to Iris. He knew smoking was bad, but he did't care. He was dressed in his usual black, but today he had on black jeans ad those shirts you see emo guys with but he's had a purple butterfly on it

"Absolutely," Iris said, handing him a cig and a lighter. "So, what's going on in the world of Stymied?" she asked with a small smile.

Stymied took the cigarrete and lite it up. "nothing just hanging out and stuff" he said lately he was hanging out a lot with girls and stuff. "you?"

"Not much," she said with a sigh. Iris hated to admit it, but she was lonely sometimes, and it didn't help that she hardly knew anyone. Not that she couldn't get to know people, she just chose not to most of the time.

"Yeah, for the most part," she said with a sigh. "I was transferred here last year, and I don't have too many friends or anything." She ran her fingers through her hair. "Great, now I'm starting to sound Emo."

"You're right, I suppose," she said, flicking some cig ashes on the ground and blowing a smoke ring. "Aha! I finally figured out how to do that!" she cried like an excited little child as she looked at the smoke ring proudly. Iris then realized that that looked pretty silly, and she laughed at herself. "I'm such a dork..."
