Games.
If I would devise a short(ish) survey about computer/video games, would you answer it? I'm not interested in the responses of hardcore gamers because I already know what they want (More Blood)--okay, so that's generalizing it but I'm specifically interested in folks who don't play so much. Now please say yes or no. Or anything else. It's okay, really. Good daze.
Jeux sans frontiers
I hardly play games at all (I have an Apple Mac, hee hee) but I'd be happy to give a short resume why they don't interest me that much - the only thing I'm half tempted by would be a flight-sim.
oooooh What does this button do?
I'm there dearie.
I don't play that much because I'm poor and not very good, but a deathmatch every now and again is always fun. ;)
I haven't forgotten you...
Milad...there's plenty free games available on the internet, and plenty commercial classics available for a couple $. As for the free stuff, it's kinda like indie bands, not neccessarily worse, sometimes smarter, just not as shiny-glitzy-overproduced. Then again, I still think the games I played *first* were among the coolest ever made, so my (technical) standards are probably some 15 years out of date now...I just don't think fancy effects and such really improve a game much. Ohwell. Deathmatches, eh? I _so_ suck at shooters, having very little experience with them and admittedly not much, uhm, sympathy for the genre (I mean,...er...I'd rather _do_ something with people, not just them.) It's just that most of the time I'm really too downish to deal with convoluted plots, lots of prose or a 50-page manual...I'd usually turn to Pac-Man or something but if you want a bleeding newbie to blow to smithereens, I'm sure we can negotiate a date ~
Survey...ahum. That was one of my five-minute-mania anti-depression projects. I've started drafting one, though. ..
