Garnet's Room - Tears
Curious - as well as sympathetic or concerned - looks had been following the fiery mutant to her dorm.
After she had left the MedLab, even Aurora's self-discipline hadn't been enough to adjust to those feelings overwhelming her violently.
Anger towards herself, the old fear of "not being good enough" - not being accepted into the group for reasons of inferiority or simple weakness - and plain shock about the speed and effortlessness with which she had been defeated even without a real combat left the fiery mutant helpless and desperate alone with herself in the considerably luxurious dwelling place.
"Why?"
she whispered repeatedly, tears running down her reddened cheeks.
It had always been so easy before. Every possible door when it came to things to achieve had opened for Garnet without the need for her to put much effort in it. Although the social side had been a totally different thing, her powers and everything intellectual hadn't caused any problems with just little work to put into but now... now everything had changed!
How could this woman have been able to defeat her that easily?!
Her aimlessly wandering eyes met the mirror and suddenly, Circe felt incredibly silly.
"Now look at me... crying like a spoiled child"
, she muttered and broke into a slightly hysterical, yet somehow freeing laughter.
Pulling herself up, Aurora wiped the tears away inspecting her make-up.
"Totally messed up..."
Fixing it carefully, a decision grew inside the ebony-haired mutant. She would prove herself as a useful member of the team.
"You will not have anything to laugh about when I am done with you, Angelus!"
(TBC - anyone?
otherwise I'll have her show up later on to join the vamp-hunting mission) Life can be like a stone thrown in the sea. It creates waves, maybe changing something, maybe not, but no matter what it causes, every single wave will disappear into nowhere...
To say Talia was having a wonderful stroll down the halls would be a lie, she was simply avoiding the horde of loud girls all eagerly chatting about what they planned on doing for the weekend. Her long blue demonic like tail flicked about dangerously behind her, whipping into the ground on several occasions.
The young Wagner trotted along on all fours, for a while, amusing herself by pouncing on the fading rays of light that beamed through the windows. But the sound of someone quietly sobbing had caught her attention...then a muffled voice...then laughter and more of a muffled voice.
Of course, being a telepath meant that although the sounds where muffled, she clearly hear the words in her mind, which she was still learning to completely shut off from those around her. With another curious flick of her tail, Talia carefully stood, bare footed and dressed in black shorts and a black top, both standing out against her blue fur, though not nearly as noticable as her striking yellow eyes.
"Are you alright?" The telepath whispered into the girls mind from out into the hall, it had probably been years since she had last used her real voice, even she couldn't remember what it sounded like, and she wasn't curious to find out.
"Forgive me, I vas close by und heard you.." She added quickly remember the discomfort her inability to talk often caused to others. The young shapeshifter wasn't even really sure *why* she was bothering to talk with someone who was upset, most of the time it was her that made them upset. But her father had told her that she should try and give this place an honest go...so...she would, and then head back to Germany and be with her mother.
The whispered words made Aurora jerk around. Alarmed, the ebony-haired's eyes scanned the room for an intruder - Drusilla? some other mad psychic vamp? - but as she didn't see anyone.
As she had just decided her mind was playing tricks on her, it sounded again
Nocturne: ""Forgive me, I vas close by und heard you.."
This voice... it was somehow familiar... what was her name again?
"Talia? Is it you?"
Approaching the door, Circe hoped the newly applyed make-up would hide her swollen eyes but shortly before she could open the door, Garnet hesitated.
A hand resting against the wooden surface, she leaned her head against it. She didn't want anyone to see her like that.
*I want to be strong... I even want to face an ancient vampire... but do not dare to open the door admitting I have cried? Is pride the only thing ruling my life?!*
It were just a few seconds the fiery mutant spent struggling with herself.
Finally, it was her defiance to let anything get her totally down that won.
Without any more hesitation, Circe opened the door and flashed a smile at the blue furred girl outside.
"Thank you"
Now she was really ready to step out again.

Re: Moving On
There was a moment of hesitation, the worried though that she had - once again - intruded into the privet thoughts of another person. But quickly the telepath shook her mind of the panic swelling inside of her and simply bowed her head slightly in a cursty.
"Velcome.." She replied in her mind link, though....in all truth wasn't entierly sure why a 'thank you' had been given to her simple question, she wasn't used to conversing with people so she tried not to think too much on it. A part of her was wondering over what Garnet had thought...face an ancient vampire? What did she mean by that? There where rumours going through the school about vampires....but she didn't believe in them and passed off the rumours as a practical joke gone wrong.
"I did not mean to pry Miss Ferell, if you vish to be left alone zen I vill leave." She offered politely as she umcomfortably rubbed her shoulder with her right three-fingered hand.
Re: Moving On
Aurora shook her head making a devaluating gesture.
"On the contrary, it truly has been of help to me! And please, call me Garnet or Aurora... I hardly think you are younger than me"
Another smile crossed her face as a thought occured to her. After having closed the door behind her, the fiery mutant turned to Talia again speaking in an offering tone
"I just decided to go on a shopping tour for some hours. Would you like to join me? If you feel more comfortable with it, we surely could use Nightcrawler's old holographic emitter. After some modifications...."
Circe tilted her head slightly, unsure whether Nocturne felt ready for that. She hadn't spent much time with the blue-furred girl, in fact close to zero, but to her it was obvious she was of the shy kind.
Maybe money was a problem as well...?
"You can consider yourself as invited, of course" , she said making clear that this was the least of problems trying to keep any subtext that could have been mistaken as arrogant out of her voice.
Money really was nothing to worry about for her and a certain generosity had become a part of herself.

Re: Moving On
The invite was more of a shock then the offer of getting a holo emitter...whatever that really was, but the furred girl blinked slowly before staring down at the ground.
"I vould be honoured to accept ze offer.." She replied rather unsure of what else to say, she gave an uncomfortable glance around.
"Pardon me." With a slight bow of her head, she stepped back and disappeared, teleporting off with a BAMF of blue swirling smoke. Once out of sight, Talia allowed her short to shift into a more human appearence, once satisfied with her disguise, she teleported back in front of Garnet.
The her blue hair had turned a golden brown like her mothers, her yellow eyes a hazel blue and her skin lightly tanned, and lacking her blur fur. Once again she nervously glanced about, those that did know of her morphing abilities would nag her asking *why* didn't she simply hide her blue fur all the time if she was able to shift appearence....well se didn't want to be forced to hide, no matter how keen she was for the idea.
Re: Moving On"I beg your pardon"
Circe said with a smile as Talia re-appeared.
"To be honest, I was not common to the fact that you are a shapeshifter as well and... oh, ARAN?"
Although it was more of a question, the way she pronounced the name had something of a command as Aurora spotted the green-skinned man at the end of the corridor.
Dryad had just been about to enter his room but stopped in the middle of the movement hearing the fiery beauty's voice calling out his name.
Hesitantly as if knowing what was to come, he approached her and a girl of about the same age which he couldn't remember having seen before.
"You do not have anything to do at the moment, now have you? Excellent, what do you think about joining Talia and myself in our trip to..."
With a sigh, Aran'kla interrupted her finishing the sentence his way, a good part of irony in his voice. "...to a hell for men called 'shopping center' to serve as your porter slave?"
A shrug followed by a grin at the two young women. "Naturement, just started to get bored. Got everything essential, Garny? Cards of all kinds, isotonic drinks... towels?"
Aurora gave him a wink. "It will not be one of the long tours today... excuse me"
Quickly, Circe entered her room again and grabbed some credit cards she had put carelessly on a desk earlier.
Dryad had just managed to ask Nocturne whether she was in any team as Aurora - not having heard his question - came out again and replied to it without knowing. "I believe there will be a speech or something similar for the teams later, hence, all the three of us surely need to be back in three hours latest. Storm handed me a communicator earlier so we will be informed anyway"
She started to walk towards the exit and Aran followed throwing an inviting look back at Talia, smiling. "You're lucky. Normally, our material girl needs half a day only to get through half of her favorite shops"
(OOC: I figured Aran as Garnet's fav shopping slave was needed hope it's ok even though it might appear like some improbable coincident. You can NPC both out and away, if you like!
... and sorry. the posts a little... crappy)

Re: Moving On
With a faint smile at the new guest, Talia simply returned to waiting for Garnet to be done, once she was ready, the three made their way towards Salem center, a slight nervous feeling swelling inside of Talia as they walked.
