My name is Michelle ****** and I live in Orlando, Florida. I have a question that I am not sure where to turn to for answers. Last night I was dropping off some clothes to my daughter. She was spending the night at a friend’s house (apartment). She has spent the night there frequently and I know the girl and her mother well. When I arrived there, the girls and the mother were quite excited about something they were “seeing” in their apartment and outside of their apartment. We have no idea what they are or what they mean and aren’t sure where to go to find out. The girls (ages 8 and 10) are able to see small sphere, bubble like things floating in the air, on the walls, furniture, etc. The girls have no problem seeing the spheres, but no one else can see the spheres until they are captured by a digital camera. The girls can point to a sphere, take a picture and there it is. I have attached just one of many pictures that the family has taken. I also attached the same picture where I circled the spheres that were easier to spot on the actual picture. They feel that the baby can see the spheres too (she is 1), they have a picture where the baby is reaching out to touch one. The spheres appears in the daylight, outside, inside and even in a dark room at night. The girls describe the spheres in all different colors. Some red, blue, purple, black, yellow, etc. One of the girls said she can see one eye on the sphere at times and one picture catches a sphere on a door outside and there appears to be a distinct letter “H” in the middle of the sphere. It is really eerie to watch the girls and hear them say….”Oh there goes a red one…oh wait, there’s a blue one right by your head.” Do you happen to have any idea what these things are and were can I go to find out more about them. They only just appeared on Friday, December 23 and were still there last night, December 26. Apparently there is also a toy truck that has no batteries in it that has moved about the apartment and the girls can see one of the spheres around the truck when it moves. Any explanations? I have never encountered anything like this before, I am completely amazed and baffled. I would live some advice or direction.
Quote:Wow, that's definitely interesting. What you are describing sounds a lot like orbs. I'll explain more about this in a moment. My first question would be if there is any temperature drop associated with the sightings of these orbs and bubbles? It may be difficult to say for sure since the ups and downs of temperature here as of late.
Now, on to a little explanation... An orb is the most common form of a spirit, at least in theory. Please understand this comes from a skeptic that wants to experience something so he can believe. Inside of all of us is energy. Our hearts run off of a very small electrical charge. When someone goes into cardiac arrest, paramedics and emergency personnel reach for 'the paddles' and send electricity through the heart to jump start it. As we know from elementary science classes energy can never be created or destroyed. It is a constant. Likewise the electricity inside of us, more specifically the energy that creates the electricity, can never go away. So when we die, where does it go? This opens the door to so many possibilities from past lives regression, reincarnation, and modern day religions. However, some believe is stays here on earth and shows up as orbs. When they do this they need a massive amount of energy to produce themselves and the easiest way to get that energy is from the environment around it. Therefore absorbing heat (a form of energy) and drastically dropping the temperature.
So, have they been complaining recently about their heater not working that well?
Also, you said it seemed to just start...not sure why this is...maybe the children just reached a point in their development where they recognize these things. Maybe, since you mentioned it was in an apartment complex, a new tenant could have brought the spirits with them since spirits have been known to travel with a person or material possession they were found of when they were living. And then there's always the possibility that some spooks just decided to move south for the winter.
Whatever the case, we are here to help you. I am going to pass your story to a couple other people in my group to see what they have to say about it. If you need anything else or would like you to come out to the apartment one day, please do not hesitate to E-mail me! We are based out of Orlando!
Re: Haunted Apartment?
Very interesting. Have you heard of any similar experiences where someone could actually point out an orb and capture a picture of it? Are the ever captured by a video camera? or is it always just a flash picture?
I'm curious about the possibility of using a volt meter and rigging up aluminum paddles to the probes and then having the person who can see them attempt to catch the probe between the two paddles. (kind of like holding a ping-pong ball between two ping-pong paddles) I wonder if there would be a reading on the meter.
Very interesting story indeed. I hope you check it out soon and let us hear the results of your findings.
Re: Haunted Apartment?
Sweet...if they ask us to come out I will include you! I E-mailed Charlie the story and he had some suggestions...possible electronic interference (a TV is on in the background), or possibly the Children are seeing Christmas tree light reflections...it's odd this started right before Christmas.
The other thing he mentioned was a possible poltergeist. Here is what he said in his own words:
Quote:Almost all poltergeist cases have involved young females in the age range of 12 to 16. While poltergeist cases normally involve psychic-kinetic energy, i.e. objects flying from shelves etc., there are also rare instances of materialization, water raining from ceilings, starting of fires, and various electrical phenomena. I mention this only in wild speculation AND because of the toy truck, without batteries, that moved.
That's pretty scary stuff considering we are dealing with children here!
I'd like to catch the truck with no batteries move, I think I saw that in a movie once...
Orbs can be seen on video film as well as regular still pictures. They are not nearly as common however.
Orbs in pictures are 99% of the time just dust, moister, and/or shutter reflections.
Orbs on film are 99% of the time dust or moister depending on the location and circumstances.
We've captured an orb on film at the Orange County Courthouse. Check it out here!
As for people seeing orbs...I haven't really heard of it the way it is described in the E-mail. I have heard people describe seeing glowing lights. I guess that could be orbs.
There will always be people out there that can 'sense' something, and another person will snap a picture and sometimes something will show up.
The primary way of detecting a spirit or orb, or ghost...whatever...is an EMF detector. These meters are used to detect Electrical Fields emitted from power lines and stuff...I have a couple of these and if there is something giving off energy it will find it...but again, that could be anything...so a reading alone doesn't really prove anything.
An EMF reading along with a drop in temperature...and someone saying they see something...and a toy firetruck starting up and going across the room by itself with no batteries...well, then you may have something!
Re: Haunted Apartment?
Well of course i've seen pictures of orbs (including my own pics)... and admit that sometimes they can look like something else (like a face or just a strange light) . I've also see "orbs" in videos, but it's obvious that it is dust or reflections of light (the one in your courthouse video looks like a light reflection, like the sun off a wrist watch lens kind of thing) ... but to have someone pointing them out and telling you it's following someone or something (like a toy truck).... and capturing THAT on video would be harder to disprove, as opposed to a picture which doesn't capture the effect as well (except to maybe the people there).
As for the volt meter idea.... An EMF meter reads a field being emitted out from something..... where as it sounds like here you have an opportunity to have someone who sees the "orbs" place a probe directly on (in) the orb and get a reading directly from the "energy source".

Haunted Apt.
Hi Owen Happy Holidays,
Matt and I have done alot of work on orbs. alot of people dismiss them and yes they can be dust or moisture. But one thing I've found is every camera will depict an orb differently. If indeed it is that. I would suggest telling Michelle to use different cameras with good lens Quality and different speed films and a Video camera. If she will let them, see if the children can communicate or ask these balls of light questions while using a tape recorder. With the orbs being in and out of the apartment is a good sign that the Apartment is some kind of portal. Also, How long have these people lived there and did this happen last year at the same time? Very interesting. Jan Bunker. P.S let us know.
